This place had everything.We had a girls night out on a Friday and let me just say that this place made it memorable.The ambience was perfect and the presence of the owner made it more welcoming.She was insistent that we should try the hot chocolate and boy,was it yummy.This is a must have and I am dying to go back for more.The food is equally good and this place on top of my list of favourite restaurants in blore.
Really enjoyed the food here. Waffles are light and delicious with a range of savoury and sweet options. The majority of the food and sauces are made in house and the proprietor tries to keep it as free of chemicals and preservatives as possible. They have something for all palates. I work nearby so will definitely be a regular. I find it reasonably priced as well. I recommend a visit.

Down to earth and really tasty food. I love that someone actually makes savoury crepes and waffles for someone like me. Even the Alphonso milk shake seemed home made and wholesome goodness. ❤️

Instinctively walked into this cutesy looking Waffle place. The ambience is nice and cosy and the staff were welcoming. The gentleman at the counter recommended the Ban'Ella. It was a bit of a wait, but before I could assume that they'd gone all the way to Belgium to get my Waffle, they plonked it down on my table. Clearly, the gentleman at the counter knew what he was doing because the waffle was out of this world. Hands down the best waffle I've eaten till date. The quantities were sensational. Generous amounts of Nutella, lots of Banana slices, a giant helping of chocolate sauce and to top it all off, a large dollop of whipped cream. Who could possibly go wrong with that?! My Waffle was well worth the wait and much more. This place might seem expensive but trust me, it presents immense value as well. Those of you who haven't visited this wonderful place, kindly do!

The Good Galette on Residency Road is a quaint little place having good options for a quick bite; waffles & crepes being the major highlights.
I happened to be here on a Sunday morning and tried their 'Cluck Cluck' from the breakfast menu. It had grilled chicken and sausages along with baked beans, mushrooms with eggs done sunny side up. One even gets waffles/ pancakes as an accompaniment along with the dish. The chicken was juicy, sausages were done right and the mushrooms were grilled to perfection. The batter for the waffles however wasn't much to my liking. They were a little hard on the outside. This had me for some sweet cravings and I ended up ordering a crepe for myself. I went for the 'Citron', one of their most popular crepes as per the reviews. The in-house orange marmalade was actually way too sweet than I had imagined. Wish I had stuck to the conventional chocolate ones.
Service is a little slow but staff is extremely polite. A meal for two would come something around 600/-

The waffle is perfect! It’s crisp and soft. It gets done in a jiffy in the mouth. Unlike other places where the waffles need to be chewed like rubber.
This place has a very cool ambience with nice collection of music. Most importantly the waffles were good enough. Tried banana nutella waffle with chocolate ice cream and strawberry nutella waffle. Both tasted superb. Price was reasonable.
I don't review often and I do only if I've felt like going to the place repeatedly. The Good Galette has a no fuss, easy to choose kind of menu. Though I have my favorites from their menu each time I've tried something new and I've loved it. The Ratatouille waffle and citron crepes being the favourite this time I tried the medical Bao and it was yummylicious ! Sorry in the hurry to grab the bite did not click a lot of pics. Like many have expressed as parking as concern yes it is but hey am lucky I use public transport many a times ;-)
& For all you girls who want to have a nice waffle meal or snacking all by yourself without hassle just go here.nobody really bothers you !

The good gallette is known for their breakfast spreads and waffles with a Indian twist. I had the mint chicken waffles, the waffle were crisp and cooked to perfection, the chicken had a amazing flavour. I recommend you to try this place for breakfast.

After trying a lot of different stuff I realized that waffles are something that I can eat every day. And one such place where I love to go for waffles is The Good Galette.
It had been on my list since it opened as it is very close to my office and I used to pass by it almost every day. On one Friday lunch we finally went there.
The look of the place is somewhat average but that doesn't matter to me a lot. As we entered a wonderful lady welcomed us, she I presumed was also the owner of the place. The menu have lot of savory waffles and Crepes, which is the major focus of this place. We being confused looking at numerous options asked the lady to help us and she did that happily, describing each and every item on the menu and suggesting us as per our preferences.
The waffles being made fresh took some time to arrive but that was expected. Each one's of our serves looked filling by the quantity and presented wonderfully. The food served was quite delicious. I went with the veg version of the Ratatouille and it was as the lady had described.
On our second visit to this place one of my friend wanted an egg less waffle which was not available on the menu at that time but was prepared for her. Though it didn't tour out as good as expected (we were warned about this before). The lady did not charged us for it and even apologized for it.
There are very few places where you find such wonderful host and food, though I have not been to this place in a very long time for some or the other reason (one of them being my urge to explore), I would keep this place in one of my most loved and preferred food destination in Bangalore.
You are a waffle fan or not, go to this place and you won't be disappointed.

After Christmas spending an awesome time with some of a restaurant, Just tried walking into Residency road and found 'The Good Galette' serving with Waffles Crepes and Breakfast and so and so, and I was amazed to see customer friendly staffs at the counter. Coming to Ambience of the place really good, Food serving with both savoury and sweet in Which many waffles house don't!! We had an delightfull breakfast named Cluck Cluck and with beverages In house Hot Chocolate and salted peanut butter shake, which comprised with the breakfast and later on for the sweet tooth confectionery dessert which was so called Trio of Chocolate topped up chocolate mousse, chocolate sauce and choco bites. loved it the core Thank you Good Galette for the dishes . I am thinking to drop by next time with my friends trying out the Bao's. I suggest you'll my zomato followers and friends and family to visit this place for sure.

One morning while walking through Residency Road, we looked for a place to have breakfast, hungry that we were, and this popped up.
Self-service. Pretty cozy. And a Menu developed around Waffles(both sweet and savoury), Crepes(again sweet and savoury) and Baos.
We ordered a Oreo Blast waffle, their Amritsari Kukkad Bao, though I am not too sure on the name it sure was chicken in tandoori marinade, and Cold coffee. The waffles blew me away.. Soft and crunchy , not too sweet and just Delicious. And just when I thought you can’t top this dish came the Bao, I can’t stop thinking about how great it was. Amazing chicken, fresh green mint mayo, even the onions and lettuce tasted great. It lasted 60 secs, I am sure we were done with it before the minute was up. The only let down for me was the cold coffee, it wasn’t good, smelled funny. Just not the right proportions.But I was too happy to think much about it.
And after my meal I am so wowed by this place, I am thinking about traveling the mile, through traffic and Sun, again sometime.. with all my friends. I suggest you do too.

This is a fun place to hang out with friends and family for a leisurely brunch. It's located opposite some parking space, which is a respite on residency road.
The owner is a warm person who engages with you and makes you feel at home. She is also a coffee connoisseur :)
We tried their masal toast and ratatouille waffles. Both good. But the pick of the daywas the Mirella waffle sticks. Top stuff! Crunchy on the outside, oozing with nutella and soft on the inside. Served on a skewer. What's not to like? They also have a good selection of coffee so do check that out as well.
I think I'll definitely visit this place again for more :)
We found this comfy little space in Zomato. The décor is modern and reflects the feel good vibe. When we went through the menu it was like bonjour from French cuisine, mainly focused on waffles and crepes which are served both as savory and main course. We ordered ratatouille which I wanted to try from ages, and it didn't disappoint me either. We tried their very berry strawberry milkshake, the consistency was very watery, would not recommend it through. Overall, if you are in mood of some waffles, coffee and some gossips with your friends this would be perfect spot.

A long walk through Residency Road found out a cafe which was located opp to bishops cotton boys school called 'The Good Galette' serving with waffles, crepes (Both savoury and sweet to be amazed) and breakfast which can be even compromised with an lunch also. A very cozy and quite environment to have a chat with friends and family get together, Ambience of the place really good and a tricky part to go for is the menu with and lot of option of waffles and crepes which are freshly made day by day IN house. And finally landed up having an fresh fruit waffle at last and with an dark fantasy shake with no added sugar. Later on came to know they are participating in an event at the sweet tooth fest the awesome mouthwatering savoury dishes and sweet dessert waffles and crepes option for all the toppings and the best veggie option to go for is the Ratatouille and many more.
The Citron crepe which was the sweetest selling loved by many, lemon curd and with orange marmalade drizzled, If any one passing by Residency Road please do drop by The Good Galette.
It's a small restaurant which focuses on savoury crepes and waffles. We had the Kung Pao Tofu waffle which was really tasty. The waffle was crispy and went really well with the tofu topping. On her majesty’s service crepe and kiwi shake was one hell of a combination. Must try. They don’t add sugar and ice to the shake, sounds healthy.
Brilliant crepes and waffles.The Good Galette just makes the perfect waffles and crepes. The amount of sugar is balanced. The ingredients are fresh and they do not use any preservatives. My favourites from today's spread were the strawberry crepe and tandoori chicken waffle with mint mayo. The sweet crepes and waffles were also awesome.
I am surely going again to try their chorizo waffle and char siu waffle. Highly recommended if you love crepes and waffles!

Hello everyone :) I was here as a part of bengaluru desserts club event in the good gelette. To start we had banana foster which is a thick banana milk shake with some nuts. In the waffles savoury, I tried tandoor chicken waffle, chettinaad chicken waffle, ratatouille veg, mexicana veg which were too good but my personal favourite would be chettinaad chicken and mexicana veg! Next the crepe which we tried were citron, trio of chocolate, strawberry and they were marvellous. This is the first time I loved crepe soo much. They are that delicious. Now the sweet waffles, bano-ffee and ban-'ella. I'm not a sweet person but still they were very good. Now a special treat, eggettes - with mango chutney mayo and chilli honey dips were tooo good :) best part is that all the things are made fresh from the scratch and there are no preservatives what so ever which makes this place very different and a must try for everyone. It was a rainy Saturday evening but it didn't stop me or my best friend to go visit this place...You might wonder why we got drenched in the rain, trust me if you were in our place knowing you are going to eat Crepes and Waffles in that weather it won't stop you from going to #TheGoodGallette
#TheGoodGallette is place run by Sandhya Krishnan. The meet started at 4pm but as it was raining my friend and me reached late and missed the starting intro by Sandhya and the first desert :(
The first item for our taste bud was the Strawberry Crepe...it was followed by a Banana shake, The Ban'Ella, Trio of Chocolate Crepe, Tandoori Chicken Waffle, Mexican Wrap, Mexican Waffle, Kung Pao Waffle and Finger chips with Guacamole dip...
The cafe is quite cosy and can easily fit around 20 folks at any given point of time. The ambience will make you feel at home in one shot. It’s set with great care and ease to cater to audience of any age group. The menu is quite good and caters to both Non-Veg and Veg dishes, so a Veg folk like me had no issue at all.
Now coming to the most main part…How was the food?? The food is really good and tasty…The Mexican Veg wrap and waffle were delicious, tangy and mild spicy at the same time to give your taste bud the desired taste…not just that the crepes and waffles on the sweet side were good too…The Chocolate Mousse was to die for and my favourite for the evening I ended up eating 2 plates of those
My friend who tasted the Non-Veg items did confirm that the Tandoori chicken waffle and Kung Pao Waffle tasted really great and her favourite was the Tandoori Chicken which she ended up asking for another round

When I stepped into this place, the first thing I told my friend is, I wish I had a cafe like this. Such a beautiful place and the owner of the place was so very nice and friendly. When we walked in she said make yourself comfortable like you are at home and we actually felt that. All the food is made out of organic material and there is no added sugar in any of the food. There was a wide variety of Waffles and the savoury waffles where my kind of thing. The crapes were out of this world specially the Strawberry flavored crepe. I am not getting the name correct, but everyone who is visiting there please ask for the strawberry crepe. It was just yumm..!!
A very nice place to spend the evening, specially with your girlfriends, when you have a lot to catch up on.

We were here this entire afternoon till evening .. gorging on awesome crepes and waffles .
Each waffle or crepe is different from the other in some form or the other. The waffles are freshly prepared & they are constantly working on bringing something new in store.
The compotes and all other components are made in house. The lady , our hostess , is very very well versed with each of the delecacies, which shows her involvement with the place.

I loved the Strawberry and nutella ( Waffles with nuttela ,inhouse strawberry and thyme compote witha scoop od strawberry ice cream) , The ban'ella ( nutella sliced bananas drizzled with chocolate sauce) , Bano-ffle (Waffle drizzled with inhouse banoffe sauce,sliced bananas, crunch almond praline,whipped cream,cinnamon dust) .I also loved the Trio of chocolates.
In the savoury versions - we tried Ratatouille & Mexicana in veg & Tandoori Chicken & Chettinad Chicken in non veg.
Things which I have seen in the menu , but I am yet to try are the ones with crab , prawns , char sui & chorizo.
In paucity of time I could not try the waffle stick & eggettes.
From the time we entered we were presented one after the other tasty waffles / crepes etc.
Other points - the crew was ever smiling and helpful . The food was awesome . Pricing wise it's all around 200-250 for regular fares. The view outside TGG with the green bower is superb. It is advisable to take a cab if you are in this side of the town.
This place just blew my mind with variety of waffles and crepes they serve .... their whip cream, their sauce are amazing with some unique flavours. Ever thought of savoury waffles? there you go with some Indian touch "tandoori chicken & chettinad chicken waffle are the best. For sweet tooth my favourite here is Banoffle(must try waffle), Citron crepes(orange marmalade topping makes it unique), Eggettes with mango chutney mayo are just delightful. If you go by Residency Road do stop over at "The Good Galette" to tease your taste buds.
Never knew savoury crepes could taste so good. The ratatouille is my favourite. The Mexicana is fiery like it should be. A convenient location, great seating and a ever-so-gracious owner. Probably the most generous peanut butter milkshake in all of Bangalore. A must try ! Sorry I don't have the patience to take pics when the food is so good !

The freshness of the ingredients used is very noticeable.Tried a Sri Lankan Chicken crepe, an Avocado shake an an Eggette (with fresh cream and strawberry compote toppings). All the three items were very well prepared. The place has self-service, you can place your order at the counter while getting excellent suggestions from the Owner/Manager on what to try.As for the ambience its an unassuming place with wooden chairs (no cushions, should that be a concern), and a long table attached to the entrance window with chairs for those who like to eat and gaze outside (Leafy trees and the Bangalore traffic make up for most of the view).Do go to The Good Galette if you have an experienced Palate, some lovable dishes here!

Cute place with excellent food. So homely, every dish is created meticulously with lots of passion. Before I visited the Good Galette, I didn't know that char siew and a few other toppings were so delicious with waffles and crepes. Innovative and thoughtful, I would definitely recommend a visit as you are sure to revisit :)
This is a cozy little place, tucked away on the ground floor (not basement) of Devatha Plaza on Residency Road.
I'd chatted with Sandhya (the owner) and she was really sweet and offered to get vegan waffles and crêpes made for me with advance notice. I let her know in the morning that I'd be dropping by today and she went out to buy soymilk just for this and had a vegan batter prepared and waiting by lunch time!
Chef Tanmoy prepared delicious Kung Pao Tofu Waffle, Ratatouille Crêpe and this amazingly thick Organic Mango Shake made with Soymilk (no added sugar and the sweetness level was perfect!).
My favourite was the Ratatouille filling in the crêpe!
I had gone with the full intention of ordering the dessert waffles but the savoury ones filled me up so much that I didn't have any space for the sweet versions. Besides, the mango shake more than satisfied the sweet craving.
Will save the dessert waffles (have my eye on the strawberry one) for next time. And there will be a next time! :)
The best waffles I've ever had! Tasty, healthy (comparatively) and just the right serving size that makes you long for more. I also tried their crepes and the Citron Crepe hits all the right notes. They make everything in house. Great food, good service and a simple ambience that will make you come back for more.
Saw their review on Zomato and decided to check the new kid on the block for desserts. I must say that the reviews don't really give the right impression.

After seeing some incredible food pictures & hearing some good feedback about the food at The Good Galette, it was only a matter of time before we take the trip from Whitefield to Residency Road. Glad we finally made that trip on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Looking at the menu, we were spoilt for choices but we finally decided to try out as much variety as we can.
The Waffle with Char Siu Pork was a bliss for the tastebuds. The pork was perfectly done and the crispy waffle with the BBQ sauce tasted just perfect. The Oink Oink breakfast was soul food for me as I am a sucker for Western breakfast! The savory crepe with grilled chicken, bacon rashers, eggs sunny side up, mascarpone & cheddar cheese was totally mouth-full of flavors! To satisfy our sweet cravings we had the amazing waffle sticks with nutella and the Eggettes with strawberry & chocolate drizzle. We were full but our greedy souls were still hungry looking at the menu. We finally wrapped it up with the recommended Citron Crepe which left the perfect good feeling of ending a splendid meal! Overall quite satisfied with the food. The bill came up to 1.5 K for all these food which was more than filling for 2 adults and 1 kid. It was a perfect sunday afternoon meal and glad we finally made it to TGG.
This a new addition to the many gems in the MG road area. It's a small place and easy to miss but definitely not if you eat here once. The twist to conventional toast and bun is refreshing.
They use waffles and crepes as a base in most of there dishes. There is open waffle and waffle-wich. The uniqueness of the place is in its savoury waffles/crepes which are waff-le-cious.
Do try their fresh fruit shakes.
I strongly recommend you to try their Ban'ella(waffles topped with banana and Nutella) so will the owner of this place. The waffle lady is super sweet and has some really great ideas about the place.
You just can't get enough of waffles once you try theirs. Must must must try.

The waffles are crunchy, the toppings are interesting and well thought out, the crêpes were thin and not eggy, desserts were heavenly as expected.
Vegeterians do note: theres a rather small number of vegetarian savoury options, though.. a lot a ratatouille and its like.

The Good Galette is a new little spot opened at Devatha Plaza opposite Bishop Cotton Boys' School. It does not serve galettes as the name might lead you to believe, but does serve some rather delicious waffles and crepes with savoury and sweet toppings/ fillings. We tried their Char Siu waffle, the crab & mustard waffle and the Citron crepe.
The waffles on a stand-alone basis tend to shine with their exterior crunch and proper softness underneath. The one with the Char Siu topping features some indulgent, moreish pork belly reduced in a grape jus, topped with fresh apple and comes with a side of that delicious, sticky, leftover pork lard-infused jus. The cold crab salad waffle on the other hand, whose stand out element was the mango chutney mayo, was refreshing but average and probably fell short of expectations owing to the fact that canned crabmeat was used which was a tad too briny, as canned seafood does tend to be. The sweet citron crepe was the second dish we really liked. The crepe was paper-thin, lacking any egginess, and was filled with some lemon and orange curd (in a 70:30 ratio) and finished off with whipped cream and orange marmalade, with those flavour-bomb slivers of orange rind in the marmalade bringing the crepe to life.
All in all, we quite liked the food, notwithstanding the canned crab; and we'd recommend it to anyone tired of the Plain-Jane waffle/ crepe options out there.

Waffles!! Who doesn't love them? But, just how much of that sweetness can you gobble up? Well, I guess that's exactly what the team at The Good Galette thought about while designing their menu and boy oh boy, what a winner of a menu they have at hand! This place serves not just regular waffles but savoury ones too, and it doesn't stop there, there's crepes too!! And if that weren't enough, they have some gob smackingly good shakes too. 😍
I tried the Very Berry Strawberry shake, it was rich and very merrily berrily stawberrish - and had no added sugar 😊- loved it! Amongst the waffles, Pollo Mexicana caught my attention and I was glad I tried it. The waffle, made to perfection topped with chicken in Chipotle tomato ragout was aptly spiced, tasted yum and was quite filling too. For dessert, I was suggested to try the mango waffle and I can't thank them enough for doing so. The waffle was crisp, light and was topped with not overtly sweet slices of fresh mango- Yes, one whole mango, a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream- Heaven. While, I was digging into this place of heaven, couldn't help but notice the Bano- flle that a friend had ordered, now this one looked so good, and I decided to steal a bite of it and I did and continued stealing 😆
To sum up my experience at The Good Galette, a place that looks elegantly simple and serves some honest fresh and amazingly yum waffles and crepes!
Lovely place to chill at. Great food and coffee. I had a waffle and coffee. Set for the day! Great portion size and so is the presentation. Love it. They have lovely Savoury crepe and waffle options. Can't wait to already come back to try more. Thank you for a lovely meal.
Best breakfast I've had in Bangalore so far. We tried the crab waffles and the spinach and cheese crepes along with the Nutella milkshake and the mango and mandarin juice. The waffles were crispy and the crab salad was very fresh! I just loved the crepes though! The Nutella shake wasn't too sweet or thick, which was perfect for me! The decor is cute with pretty lights! Definitely going to be a regular here :)
Excellent ambiance.. Waffles are light and very delicious.. Even though located on the busy residency road, once we enter it is so peaceful inside.. Milkshakes are really good 👌

Located on the busy residency road, one can easily miss this place but surely they will return once they try out the food here... I tried crab salad waffle along with mango milkshake... The crab salad waffle was simply awesome... Especially the waffle which was crispy and crunchy... Nice👌👌... The crab salad was nicely done... The milkshake was really nice with the flavor of Alphonso mangoes...
Made my 2nd visit to this place, since wanted to experiment more .Love every bit about this#Unique name# food creation# ambience and most important "Taste". Waffle lover must visit this place. Truly a lovely place
Tasted my first savory waffles here and they ain't bad ☺. They have the most number of waffle and crepe varieties I have ever seen. Their freshly made milk shakes are out of the world.
Ambience is good though it is better suited at the time when the sun goes down. It also has a friendly host.
M definitely going back there to rest of the yummy things on the menu

When we started seeing pictures of this place on FB, put up by Sandhya and Tanmoy, and the fact that the cuisine and food were niche, we didn't mind the trek from Whitefield to The Good Galette. We ordered -
- Srilankan crepe - very soft but not teary crepe, well cooked chicken, not overwhelmingly spiced and just the right amount of consistency in the coconut flavors, made this dish of the meal for me
- Char Siu waffle - the pork was excellently cooked, the waffle had the right amount of savoriness but unfortunately the char siu was extremely salty. Sandhya did not charge this, however I want to go back to have this.
- On her Majesty's service - another winner. The combination of yolk from the sunny side up, the crepe cooked just right, the crisp bacon, all together tasted awesome.
- strawberry waffle stick - a very interesting idea (I had not seen waffle sticks before this) of a long waffle on a stick drizzled with whatever you want, in our case it was strawberry preserve. The waffle was not too sweet and was well cooked, not too crispy or crunchy but not too soft either.
- Banoffle - the final flavor bomb in our outing. While banana, fresh cream and waffle is not unusual,, the freshness of the components made this a good dessert for us.
Service was quick. The owners and chef were very open to feedback.

It's my first time in Bangalore and came across this place while walking randomly.
It has recently opened up, so hasn't been commercialised yet, making it a cute peaceful place to enjoy a quite meal.
They have an assortment of crepes and waffles- all their waffles have eggs, so couldn't taste one, but their crepe was amazing. I had the veg Gusteau's crepe which was absolutely delicious. The Dark Fantasy milkshake is a chocolate lovers paradise! Rich and crunchy, will not very heavy!
While chatting with the owner, she told me that they try to serve food which is cooked healthy- minimal oil, salt and no colours. The milkshakes have no ice and sugar! It's lovely how all the flavours add up.
Will definitely come here again on my next visit!
Had been here on a lazy monday afternoon for lunch. It's a small place with beautiful lights.We ordered for two savoury waffles, ratatouille and pollo mexicana.A dessert waffle which was Oreo blast with strawberry syrup and chocolate ice-cream. We liked the savoury waffles. The waffles were baked really well and tasted really good. The dessert waffle was too good. They make their own syrups,and bake their own waffles. We had also ordered for salted peanut butter shake and kiwi shake. The peanut butter shake is like the best shake I would have had till now. To all those who like the salty sweet taste,u must try this out. It's very different and amazing. The kiwi shake was thick and nicely made. Overall an amazing experience.
Walked in from office one day, for a quick lunch with colleagues. The first problem was what to eat!! We wanted to eat everything! The menu is awesome, savoury and sweet, waffles and crepes.
We had some savoury waffles and crepes and then ended with a mind blowing peanut butter, chocolate waffle.
Truly satisfying.

A new café serves savory waffles & crepes, my first visit loved the Pollo Mexicana waffle, silvers of peppers with shredded chicken in a zesty chipotle tomato ragout with jalapenos and cilantro. Perfect spice level.

Lovely place to have waffles and coffee. Very friendly owners as well. The ambience is really pleasant and the food is great. They make most of the items from scratch. The only thing that could improve a little is the waffle batter. But the toppings are delicious.
If I lived nearby I would frequent the place very often.

I went with an empty stomach, and yes I'm happy that I did.
Greeted with a happy smile, I was welcomed into #thegoodgalette
I took almost 10 minutes to decide what I wanted to eat. The menu was so alluring!
Who knew just waffles and crepes could be so intriguing... Sweet and savoury, they have it all... And fr every palette, at that.
Being a non vegetarian, I hardly get tempted by the vegetarian options. But this one had me texting my vegetarian friends to come and try the delightful options.
Sandhya suggested that I start off with a drink, until I make up my mind about the food. I chose the strawberry shake as soon as I knew they used fresh strawberries in it. Woah! I was in for a treat. It was better than I expected it to be. In picture that you see here below, the linings against the glass aren't glazes of syrup. They're pieces of strawberry (oh yes!!!) you've got to have this one!
I finally made up my mind about starting with the crab meat salad waffles. Ah, what a refreshing option this is... Lain on a bed of torn lettuce, was the crab salad.
You Certainly get the flavour of crab meat(and yeah there's loads of it) the bits of cucumber, chives, scallions, celery add to the flavors of the crab. What wins the palette is the hint of Thai red chilli and mango chutney mayo that bring out the zing. You'll be surprised, they just subtly enhance all these flavours.
I was quite full, but yeah I have quite an appetite so I went for a crepe after some time (during which I chatted joyously with Sandhya and those who came in)
I was drawn to the chettinad chicken. I just had to have it. I gave up dessert, to make space for another savory. And I'm grateful for doing so.Another waffle would be too much for me, so I requested to have this option in a crepe. They happily made the change.
I was thoroughly pleased by the spice, and the power that came in with the chettinad flavours. If you're a fan of spice, this is your place. Served with a lightly flavored mayo, it gave some relief from the strong flavours of pepper. A happy juxtaposition. :) :D
That's the max I had room for ;) but I'm waiting to go again and try some of their shakes, as well as the desserts... Nutella, chocolate mousse and chocolate nuggets waffles; you shall be conquered soon
Superb food...don't know of any other place serving savoury crepes and waffles. This place has just opened up, and it has this homely feel to it. The USP is that the batter, dips and all sauces are mostly in-house and made fresh. Definitely going back for more! :)

️I had recently visited the place a day after I heard that it served waffles and crepes. It is a cozy, simple cafe on the rather busy roads on Residency Road. The ambience had a nice homely feel to it and it was one which suited the delicious items in the menu. As I browsed through the menu, I was amazed to know that this cafe served savory waffles and crepes. It took me roughly 15 minutes to browse the intriguing menu, during which I sipped on the strawberry - rich drink named Very Berry Strawberry. True to its name, it contained actual strawberry pieces and not just syrup , which is not what I've seen in other cafes.
And when I enquired about it to the manager, she told me that not only did they use the freshest strawberries, they added neither ice nor sugar nor ice to their milkshakes! All their sauces are made in house too, using the freshest ingredients, completely free of chemicals, which made it absolutely healthy!
After many debates and thoughts in my mind, I decided to order the chorizo waffle. It was prepared in about 10 minutes and I was almost drooling on it as I brought it to my table (self service). It was presented beautifully, drizzled with Chipotle mayo. The chorizo had just the right amount of spice which was countered by the subtle flavor of the waffle. The waffle itself melted in your mouth, but was crisp and flavorsome. The slivers of onion with which it was served had a smoky flavor and the dices potatoes were superbly cooked. After devouring this, I ordered the Trio of Chocolate.
I was too full to eat another savory item, and me being a sweet tooth could not wait to try this. On having my first bite , I felt that the ice cream tasted different. But then I realized it was chocolate mousse. (I'm an egghead). The golden 'trio' of chocolate mousse, chocolate nuggets and star anise truffle sauce blended together perfectly well.
All in all, I enjoyed the meal and was intrigued on having tried savory waffles and crepes for the first time @TheGoodGalette!!! Loved it soooo much!! Will definitely be back waiting to try more!
Really enjoyed the food here. Waffles are light and delicious with a range of savoury and sweet options. The majority of the food and sauces are made in house and the proprietor tries to keep it as free of chemicals and preservatives as possible. They have something for all palates. I work nearby so will definitely be a regular. I find it reasonably priced as well. I recommend a visit.

I had visited this place with my colleagues after a long tiring day at work. All I wanted was good food. And much to our delight we were in the right place.
It foccused mainly on waffles and crepes which are served both as savory and main course.
We ordered ratatouille waffles ,crepes and eggette.
But what stood out for me is the amazing chocolate drizzle eggette.
P.S.Best part you ask them to pour as much Nutella as you want.

This is my second visit to the place and must say, that their quality has been really good. Their savoury waffles are probably the highlight of their menu. However, the much touted crab salad waffle was disappointing. The crab tasted stale. However all the other dishes we ordered were deliciously good! It's on the pricier side but I would definitely say that it's worth a visit
We finally got around to trying out GOOD GALETTE for lunch ...motivated by pics posted by fellow foodies. It's a cafe that serves waffles, crepes and eggettes . We really love savoury crepes and this cute little place in Devatha Plaza ( on residency road ) was a COMPLETE DELIGHT . literally INHALED CHAR SUI WAFFLE topped with green apple sticks and sonny boy loved his creperie salad crepe . Despite being sworn chocoholics we decided to try the Citron crepe for dessert and it was divine with homemade marmalade and lemon curd . Also the Rs. 740 bill for everything made for a happy ending 😉😉
Absolutely delicious savoury and sweet waffles and crepes, fresh fruit milkshakes and a commitment to serve organic and chemical- and pesticide-free food makes this place a paradise for lovers of sumptuous and healthy food. And I recommend having a chat with the owner and asking about the specials.

Excellent waffles and wonderful crepes! I tried the ratatouille waffle and it was great. Cheese topped veggie goodness with rosemary potatoes on the side, all over an excellent crisp waffle, cooked just right, with just the right amount of softness. I'd go there again, and maybe give their bao a shot next time.
A perfect hole-in-the-wall experience with a unique touch on the ubiquitously served waffles and crepes. One thing that really impressed me was that they had the audacity to mix up meat and waffles, and they are right on the money. Superb deviation from the traditionally sweet waffles and crepes.
P.S. in the dessert waffles and crepes, they don't add any extra sugar. The patrons at the Good Galette believe in utilising the natural sweetness of the ingredients.
Had English breakfasts and crepes here. Nice food! Service a bit slow. Coffee a bit weak. Portions in the breakfast were small of beans and mushrooms. Overall the space was pleasant, very clean and nice.
Don't miss the Gusteaus crepe. Delicious! And waffles...best I ve ever had. Soft on the inside yet crunchy on the outside.
