I was literally dependent on these guys for breakfast every day. Peanut butter oatmeal for the win! 😀🥰 Love everything from the packaging, the little notes they leave inside and the healthy meal options. They were nice enough to even add some sweet surprises in the meals sometimes! This is food made with love. 👍🤗 Only gripe is they prove to be quite expensive and the menu gets to be a little boring if you eat from here regularly. Would appreciate some offers and an expanded menu option in future.
Ordered for home delivery. Reduced 1 star for the quantity considering the price but the taste is excellent and I'd definitely say it's healthy food.
If you are looking for healthy and nutritious but scrumptious meal, this place might just fit it. I’ve been ordering from PB for almost 2 months now and I like the taste as well as the portion is just enough to suffice for one person so no wastage as well.

For those who think that healthy food cannot be tasty, this is one brand that you should definitely check out.
Purple Basil is a relatively new brand that has opened in the city and it truly lives up to its promise of serving HEALTHY FOOD THAT TASTES LIKE FAST FOOD! They are currently operational through two kitchens in Kammanahalli and Indiranagar and deliver within a vicinity 6km around their kitchens. They deliver ala-carte orders and also provide subscription plans for customers.
Last night I got a huge spread delivered from the brand's Indiranagar kitchen. The spread comprised the following:
Main Courses: Asian Chicken Noodles Salad, Arroz Mexicano Chicken Bowl
Side Dishes: Nachos with Hung Curd Dip, Roasted Broccoli and Bell Pepper Salad
Coolers: Pineapple Watermelon Cooler, Watermelon and Basil Cooler
Below are my ratings:
5/5 for the Food: On checking out the menu and later eating every food item, the first thing that you’re sure to realize is that there’s so much thought that Purple Basil has put into while creating each recipe. The food is clean, wholesome, healthy and filling!
I also felt so light yet satisfied after dinner. No bloating, no acidity that’s usually associated with out of home food.
The Asian Chicken Noodles Salad comprised rice noodles and grilled chicken nestled in a trove of fresh vegetables and dressed in splendid basil-vinaigrette dressing, garnished with crushed peanut, sesame seed, and spring onion. If you love salads, and noodles, and chicken, then this is something that you will fall in love with.
The Arroz Mexicano Chicken Bowl was a Mexican flavored red rice served with slow-cooked kidney beans (loved this!), salsa, citric corn, bell peppers, and chicken. I can understand why this is a crowd favorite as it’s hot, just like the way we Indians like!
The best thing about the above two bowls was that they carried lots of and varieties of veggies, that worked well for the veggie lover in me.
Moving on to the side dishes, the crispy, gluten-free Nachos served with Hung Curd Dip was yummy. This was the first dish that I had jumped on to after I unpacked the platters. I ate them intermittently so that I could save some till the end of the dinner (this is a habit from childhood, saving the most favorite dish till the very end :P).
The overall flavor of the Roasted Broccoli and Bell Pepper Salad was such a delight. While it had a smoky flavor because of the roasted broccoli, it did carry a "pleasant" sweet taste to it too because of the onions in it.
The coolers were absolutely refreshing! Between the two, I loved the Watermelon and Basil Cooler as the zing of the basil worked well for me!
I felt that the entire spread was more than good for two people.
5/5 for the Price: I think the items are competitively priced. If at any instance you think that the items are overpriced, my recommendation would be to give a careful look at the clean, healthy and rich ingredients that the kitchens use to prepare the food, and you'll understand why i said that the dishes are worth the price! :)
5/5 for the Service: Purple Basil consists of a bunch of enthusiastic folks who work hard to provide fresh, tasty, healthy and innovative food to their customers. I got a chance to interact with the team, and their service is heart-warming!
Besides the food and the service, what impressed me as well is the way they had packed the food items. It was done healthily, with 100% recyclable materials!
Will I order again? - Yes! :)

Healthy food that tastes like fast food, indeed. Purple basil comes to the rescue of fitness freaks like me when it's difficult to prepare are healthy meal at home and even more difficult to source a guilt free one from outside. Not only do they make the dish very rich in nutrients, but also play with flavours and render a delicious culinary experience. They have two running kitchens and am glad to have one in my neighborhood, Indiranagar.
Ordered a mix of veg and non veg for dinner.
The first one was Chiang Mai Curry (Tofu) served with herbed Cauli-rice garnished with spring onion and crushed peanut. It was accompanied with a Roasted broccoli and bell pepper salad and a Pineapple Tender Coconut Cooler. The pairing was real apt and the cooler.had natural pulp inside. I loved the subtle flavour of the curry as well as texture of tofu. The rice had a balanced flavour which complimented the gravy very well.
The second dish was Pulled Chicken Burger with their in house secret Bbq sauce accompanied by Nachos and a Hung Curd dip and a Watermelon Basil Cooler. Believe me, the burger was so delicious and at the same time so heavy, I couldn't finish it. It was very satisfying and well complimented with Pita chip like nachos and hung curd dip. The cooler again was fresh and free from any sugar or adulteration.
The packaging was superb. The food was placed over or inside areca leaf plates which was covered with aluminium foil and further sealed inside a cardboard box. Very eco-friendly and served fresh and hot.
The brand has many plans in place depending upon the need of the customer. They also don't restrict to one cuisine, but make rich dishes with healthy recipes. The service was top notch, ordering was smooth and the whole updating gesture helped. The food is priced apt and totally worth the quality and quantity they serve.

It's very rare that healthy food tastes so good and Purple Basil is doing a fantastic job at it..
They operate via two cloud kitchens in Bangalore, and sent me two meals the other day. The customer service was warm, and I was updated regularly. They ensured a timely delivery.
I received two meals for lunch.
The first meal was their Arroz Mexicano Paneer bowl (a Mexican flavoured red rice served with slow cooked kidney beans, salsa, corn, bell peppers and paneer).
This was accompanied by Nachos (with a Hung Curd dip) and a Pineapple Tender Coconut cooler.
The nachos were more like Pita chips, baked and had no flavour as such. The curd dip was brilliant.
The Mexicano Paneer bowl not only looked great but tasted delicious too. It was well-spiced and had a perfect balance of soft and crunchy elements.
The second meal was the Orient Veg Salad which had Buckwheat noodles, salad tossed in oriental dressing with veggies and grilled tofu with a Broccoli Bellpepper salad and a Carrot Ginger cooler.
This was slightly on the sweeter side, as the dressing served with it was mild and sweet. I feel it lacked salt a tad bit, and probably a dash of lime juice could enhance the flavours overall. The salad was refreshing and well seasoned.
I preferred the Pineapple Coconut cooler over the Carrot Ginger one.
Both the meals had a good portion size and were extremely filling. It easily sufficed for two people.
Their packaging was impressive and something one should pay attention to, as it's 100% eco-friendly. They use Areca Leaf bowls and plates, Birchwood cutlery and Glass bottles.
If you're one of those health conscious people who doesn't want to compromise on taste, then this one of the best options in town. They also have various meal plans that are designed to suit one's preferences. With an array of options on offer, Purple Basil is living up to it's vision.
The food here is simply delicious and super healthy! This is my one of my favorite places to order from and the taste never disappoints me. Heathy and tasty, what more could you ask for? :')

Loved the quirky packing for my pasta. They made sure it was held in place with a double sided tape, and neatly pressed tin foil. 5/5 for effort! The food itself was excellent! A lot of time and care goes into it. Love it when a restaurant pays attention to detail to their customers :)
I have tried 4-5 dishes from this place, but I think they have hit gold with their Mediterranean bowl. I consider it as the perfect post-workout meal which also happens to be delicious. Also, love the option to add extra protein to the meal.
Just a suggestion - Try mentioning the calories count work each meal. Might make me try new options.
I ordered an mango drink and paneer burrito. Was eagerly waiting for this which was delivered fairly quickly. Their packaging is amazing! So much care and level of detail.

The burrito was AMAZING! the drink could have been colder, but tasted ok. The portion sizes are ok, but it tastes divine! Ordering again very soon...
One of the better healthy food joints which offer only delivery. Their food is absolute delicious and light on your stomach too.
They offer their food in 3 sizes, diet size, right size and 3 course meal, which I think is great because you can order just the amount you'd like to eat.
I tried the Chicken Mediterranean Bowl which was extremely tasty. Looking forward to try the other items too.
I ordered the Vietnamese summer rolls with peanut dipping sauce and it was delicious. I love their healthy menu and I love the fact that the food comes in minimal and biodegradable packaging. 100 bazillion points for this, it feels so good ordering food from here. Keep up the awesome work 😊

Place was decent and services is quick.
We had some paratha and some pongal and some spaghetti past.
Pongal was good and paratha was excellent but pasta was need to improve, because of tasteless sauces..,
I ordered diet paneer salad bowl from this amazing brand. First of all I was looking for some salad 🥗 but when u received my food it was way beyond the expectations. It’s for the first time I have come across such a good presentation of food with a letter and the salad has really overwhelmed my taste buds ❤️ for sure d next time I am going to visit the place and would try deserts 🙂

Come January 2019 and most of us are trying our best to avoid junk and to eat as healthy as possible. Given our busy schedules, sometimes it becomes extremely difficult to stick to our well thought off New Year Resolutions. That’s where websites like Purple Basil come to the rescue. I discovered Purple Basil when my kitchen was getting renovated last year and I was trying super hard to eat as healthy as possible. The first dish that I ordered was their popular Asian Soba Noodles Salad, the refreshing flavors of the salad came together beautifully. After my first order, there was no turning back.
Whatever you order, they always surprise you with the taste of it.. It is lovely!

It was my first time ordering from PurpleBasil. I went for the Mediterranean Bowl Meal. The delivery was done on time. The packaging was exemplary. It comes in a big box with everything contained in eco-friendly containers, taped in place. No use of plastic anywhere. The menu is great and all the options are super healthy.
The meal was more than sufficient for a single person and it's affordable. The food was fresh and delicious. You wouldn't feel guilty ordering this at home. It is healthy for your body and for the environment. They also send you a letter with the food.

Wanted to eat healthy and I ordered Aglio olio spaghetti pasta. The food was very filling and tasty. They added generous amount of mushroom and broccoli with other veggies, I absolutely loved it. Accompanied by herbed potatoes ,garlic bread and tasty drink.

This is the kind of meal that makes you feel really happy. It is easily a two people meal. The presentation is a total winner. They clearly spend good 20% of Billing amount on the packaging but I would pay that for it makes me happy. Plus add another 30% for swiggy or ubereats commission. Do you guys even save a penny? They are not the best for you taste buds but excellent for stomach. The quality of the ingredients shines bright.

Chanced upon this while browsing Zomato and the pics showing biodegradable packaging made me order from them.
Ordered the Arroz Mexican bowl meal through Zomato. And within a minute, I realised I had ordered the chicken instead of paneer!! I immediately used Zomato support and asked them if they can switch it to paneer as I am a vegetarian. They flatly refused. I explained the non-vegetarian vs veg issue, yet they refused saying their protocol cannot be changed. Wonder if robots work for them as they just could not understand the sensitivity.
After this went on for a while, I called the people at Purple Basil and requested a switch from non-veg to veg and they immediately agreed!! I did not have to remind them nor request them again. That's how service is done, team Zomato. You guys could learn something here.
Regarding the food and delivery, point on packing! Neat, eco-friendly, and compact packing. Even cake delivery guys don't do this well! If only others could take a leaf from their page. No, plastic need not be used and you can still have a good meal. Cheers on that Purple Basil!
The quantity was adequate for two moderate eaters. The taste and quality was good too.
Will order from them again, through their app. Definitely not through Zomato.

Mango basil juice and baby potatoes are just amazing. I was little skeptical about aglio pasta but, I have to admit its amazing and the garlic bread too. Its's healthy, right amount or salt and spices and it's yummy.. much recommended❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Everything done correctly. Perfect experience from the start till the end. I ordered Arroz Mexican bowl meal. And I was amazed seeing how my order arrived. And that was just the beginning . I opened the box and found a really nice note inside. It definitely added to the experience. Talking about the food. It was really tasty. Everything was perfectly cooked with all the spices in correct proportions. That is all you need after a long day. Coming to the packaging. Completely eco friendly. They used double sided tape so that the food doesn’t move while delivering. Overall really great experience. Big thank you to the team.
Ordered food today from their website since I knew them from my gym, awesome food and quick delivery, pricing is little bit on the higher side but 40gms of protein is definitely worth it.. will keep ordering regularly for sure

P. S. We ordered the Spaghetti Aglio E Olio Meal [Mushroom]. The grilled potatoes starter and the Spaghetti tasted heavenly with fragrant herbs. Looking forward to try out more of their specialties.

Being a foodie and surviving on PG food is quite task. Thanks to places like PurpleBasil.in, I can binge some yummy and healthy food.
My personal favourite is the Arroz Mexicano Bowl. Succulent chicken, corn and beans are delicious. I must mention the baked nachos were a surprise hit with me.
I’ve also tried the Spaghetti Aglio e olio. It was pretty good, not the best. The pasta was well done and the chicken was yummy.

This was my first time ordering food from them. I must say the food was amazing considering they have kept the health aspect in mind. It was tasty, healthy and I loved the earthen clay glass where they served the carrot cooler. I think I will be regularly ordering from here for sorting out my weekend meals. Keep up the good work.
The green pea hummus was amazing. The falafel could have been softer though.

Zomato mentioned that one desert is being supplied free from their side. it was not delivered. Otherwise food was excellent. Initially delivery time was given as 7.08 pm but it was delivered by 7.35pm. It is better to give proper estimate of time.
Healthy and fresh food the packing was EXCELLENT and quick delivery. If you are looking for a good place to eat then this is it. Strongly recommend.

Presentation was a step ahead from other outlets, with well defined package and supplements. The food was provided exactly as per description, healthy with less oil and lot of vegetables. Not overpriced. My only issue was that they added onions in dishes when specifically told not to. Otherwise strongly recommended, you'll get what you read.

We had ordered quite an amount of food and we were 80% satisfied with the quality as well as the quantity .
However th dessert was totally out of place .It did not taste good at all.Also, the quantity was so less that initially I could not even differentiate between the dessert and the other sauces/ curries.It was too less and totally not worth the price.
But apart from that, the appetizer and the main courses were amazing .
Black pepper chicken with mushroom sauce and sautéed vegetable amazing must order from delivery from either Swiggy or zomato
Berry salad is fantastic, the raw mango Vietnamese rolls are just amazing, falafel sandwich is really good and baked yogurt is wow!

Went there after getting a lot of good reviews from my friends especially on the Keto meals. Ordered No Carbohydrate cauliflower rice. It was one of the best healthier at the same time TASTIER foods I ever had. The portion size is also excellent. They have recipe kits as well as subscriptions. Amazing place.
Chefkraft has a wonderful menu and a delightful array of spreads and jams which can be bought.
Their salads are extremely fresh! The packaging is meticulous to the point where they make sure they put the salt and pepper in small pouches.
I highly recommend the bacon jam to all the non vegetarians out there!
Prices are pretty steep but the quality of food is great which leaves very little room for complaints.
If you're looking for some healthy 'outside' food to indulge in , Chefkraft fits the bill perfectly!

These guys seem to know what their doing . Order some Thai noodles from these guys and it was the best Thai food I've ever had, beats some of the authentic stuff I've tried as they had some extra herbs in..great stuff!!
