A very small place which serves good food at very cheap rate..i had pork with neer dosa here and itbwas awesome...you feel like you are in Goa because of the paintings..would love to visit again.
Went there in search of beef. As there are not many beef restaurants in bangalore. It is a mangalorean restaurant serving spicy beef. Ordered beef pepper and spicy beef. Liked the taste..but no the quantity wasn't that great anyways..but for the price you get food it's kinda cheap...the place is too small..but then it is located in such a place where it is so hard to find where it is ...even the people living there won't know the location where it is..but once you enter the place feels nice with those dim lights and the painting on the wall ..it will give you the feel of Goa..
To start with, Lobo's Food Lounge was a random place which was searched for pork serving restaurants on Zomato during a trip to Bangalore.. Tried locating the place using the map provided.. but still kinda difficult to locate as it is slightly off the main road.. So, we reach this tiny little cozy joint and positives begin.. the staff greeted us with a warm welcome ( we were 1st for the day I guess).. the place was low lit and cozy.. BBQ pork ribs was the 1st order.. a definite must try.. finely cooked pork ribs coated with tasty sweet n spicy BBQ sauce.. the 1st bite into it ensured a review on Zomato.. Next was Pork pepper.. another hot dish of pork dices coated with spicy masala (coorgi preparation according to the menu).. and lastly, the traditional pork vindaloo with steamed rice.. was good but not exactly upto my taste.. it was quite a porky day to taste anything else.. the experience was great and will definitely visit again to taste the rest, next time I visit Bangalore.. it's a Must Visit..
First of all finding this place is tough id u r new to the area. It's tucked away in a residential area. Ambience is pretty decent, small and cozy place. Price of beer is pretty decent. Food was okie'ish. Just tasted the bbq pork ribs.
Will definitely come back and try their other dishes.
Love the place! Good music, if u don't like it they let u play your own music! Value for money! Love the place, and the beef tongue is a must try!
A really good place to handout and have fun with friends! Great music and good servings of food! The ambience could be improved! And well the food tastes good!
We went to this place based on the Zomato reviews and also this place seemed pretty reasonable. We had diffculty finding this place as it was tucked away in a small lane and also when we tried calling the restaurant, the number was supposedly not in service. We finally found this place and the decor was initially scary but then we got used to it. It's dark and kind of mysterious. There was only one waiter there so he was kind of hassled as he had to attend to different tables. The place was small but got full pretty soon. We started off with BBQ Pork ribs and the rubs took a long time to come. However the ribs were really delicious and was perfectly cooked. Then we had ordered one plate neer dosa, mixed fried rice, coconut rice, beef vindaloo, Squid sukka and pork bafat. The neer dosa, coconut rice and squid sukka was fine. The mixed fried rice was really tasty and the pork bafat was pretty good as well. The beef vindaloo was a let down as the dish smelt of mustard and tasted of mustard. The mustard had been added a little in excess. We wanted to order desserts but was not available. Finally we had to satisfy our sweet craving with lime sodas and sweet lime.
My suggestion would be to ensure that more items on the menu and particularly desserts are available.
Food: 4/5
Service: 3.5/5
Ambience: 3.5/5
The final bill was definitely worth the amount and it's a place I would definitely recommend people. Not being a mangalorean or goan myself, I cant swear by the authenticity of the taste but to a random stranger, the dish tasted definitely good.
Never been here but ordered a few times. the pork dishes here are quite tasty. especially the pork pepper fry. The prices are quite reasonable.
Lobo's has a creatively sinful decor, the food is equally sinful to indulge in. We tried their fries and cheese, squid fry, pork steaks and beef steaks.
Squid fry was nicely done with curry leaves as garnish, just the way a typical south Indian sea shore house would present.
Both beef and pork were beautifully done. They were cooked to perfection, juicy and tender. The mash potato at the side was equally good.
The service was good. However i would suggest them to increase the waiters and ask them to be fluent with the dishes.
My main problem with the place is with the sound system. It was very annoying as the people , in order to talk to each other, had to raise their voices a little. Call it my unlucky day the people sitting right behind us were literally shouting and talking. Having a proper conversation with the person next to me seemed impossible.
Great Manglorean food. Had the Neer dosas and chicken curry ,Pork pepper fry one time.It was splendid. The second time i tried the Goan food that is the coconut rice and Pork curry. It was OK, nothing spectacular.
I will visit this place again and again for the Manglorean food,it was spot on!
The ambiance is a tad bit too dingy for my liking and the music blasts away like nobody's business. Not a place for a family meal, maybe youngsters and couples would enjoy this kind of an ambience. All in all, good Mangi food and thats what matters, yeah!
Good place with good ambiance and great music as well. Ordered the PORK VINDALOO and the PORK SORPOTHEL. being a manglorean i felt that the sorpothal tasted bit different but it wasnt bad at all. Also the quantity could be increased a bit.
Super place with polite and courteous staff and killer food... Pork Vindaloo, Chicken Sukka and Chicken Cafreal are my favorites here!!! The ambience is very different from other places in Bangalore and I keep coming back to try new dishes each time... Great place to visit any night!!!
Great place for Goan cuisine. I loved their pork vindaloo and chicken cafreal. Cozy little place if you dine in. A bit of a challenge to find the place though as its tucked away in a by-lane.
For the variety and classis dishes they offer.. This is the place ul folks must scoot to.. Located on one of the cross roads before peeking, it's a bit easy to miss..so get an extra pair of eyes :p
Coming to what really matters.. Food.. The food is delicious. We had ordered spicy beef, roast Pork which was very delicious.... I could eat it everyday.. They alsonserve liquor.. Very friendly people and when asked what was spl they said everything... The other reviews kinda don't suggest so.. But for the meal which we had, surely I'd be visiting lobos again.
So now - just hit the road n find that cross Road.
This has been one of my favorite places in kamanahalli area.More like a hidden treasure.I love the goan food they serve here.Specially the roasted boar(not always available in menu),spl lobo chicken curry and their neer dosas. Also you get to have your beer or drinks served here as well.A small place but this one is a bit dark when you get in and a lot of graffiti's you would love reading and laugh with your friends.
The people who manage it are so warm welcoming and helps you order the right one and serves on time as well.
I would rate 4.5 for this place..cuz I love lobos!!!
This is a small resto hidden in the bylines of Kammanahalli. Even if you drive past this place you could blink and miss it!
They serve three different cuisines like Mangalorean, Goan and Anglo food. It has both open and indoor seating options. Ample street side parking.
The best thing about this place is the ambience and graffiti. The low lighting with UV and radium lights is really soothing.
We were 3 really hungry folks who were craving for neer dosa. We ordered Chicken Xacuti and one of the few veg dishes Aloo Matar for gravy.
Even though they serve beer and other drinks at a reasonable price and lots of starters we jumped right into main course.
We also ordered Mangi style Chicken curry with crispy Kori rotti. The veg curry was really very tasty and was as good as mom made khaana!
We devoured the large quantities of curry with 5 plates of Neer Dosa in no time.
Will definitely be back to enjoy the starters and booze with awesome music!
The bill was less than 700 bucks for 3 main dishes and hence total VFM.
New to the city and craving for home-like food, my roomie and I found ourself in Lobos one hungry afternoon. We ordered coconut rice and ball curry (as we so fondly refer to meatball curry as) and was pleasantly surprised at the flavours we got with each mouthful! Lovely place to dine at!
If you like Mangi/Goan/Coorgi cuisine, then Lobo's is THE place to go in Kammanahalli. Its a little difficult to locate unless you know where it is. The ambiance of the place is very hep and chilled out. You can enjoy a mug or 2 of beer and chill with your friends as really groovy and funky music plays in the background. The interiors are very trippy and sets the right mood.
Now coming, to the food. I am a huge porkaholic and being from north India, I have never really had a chance to try the classic south Indian and Goan pork recipes. Their Coorgi pork fry, Pork baffat, Pork sorpothel, Chilly Pork, Pork Vindaloo are all extaordinary with the crown going to the Coorgi pork fry. Among the beef dishes, I tried the beef keema curry, beef chops and beef curry and with the exception of beef curry which was kinda overladen with spices, everything else was really nice. The Pepper chicken was also a delight. I have only tried the main course but, if you seek to enjoy your alcohol with a bunch of friends, it is an equally good place in my opinion!
Overall:
Ambiance: 4.5
Service: 4
Music: 5
Food: 4
The ambience is really cool. I just fell inlove with it! Customer service is good. Ordered Coorgi pork which did not meet my expectations. It was just alot of pepper. Drinks are served too which is a plus point. Then ordered chilly beef which was ok....could have been better. Their chips and cheese was kinda ok. If only they could improve on the taste...this can be a nice hangout place . Felt like ...little Goa!
Hardly 100 meters from my house. This place is small , well decorated , cool painted and low litted . It no more looks like in photos uploaded here. Place is more funky and the songs too. It's kind of goa shack experience .
Food is not bad . We ordered a kori roti chicken curry and 4 ne'er dosas. Sufficient for two. Could be little better . Well it costed us only 250 bucks .
Attention this place also serves liquor and that too very reasonable. Soon this place will be adda. A must for all who needs a drink with gang.
Good coorg food. Fish curry was good.
Coorg pork was tasty.
Ambience: good
Food quantity: good
Taste: can be better
A small place for fish lover/ Coorg/Goan/Mangalore cuisine
Tucked away in a quiet street corner, lobo's is not easy to spot. As the name suggests, its primarily a mangi restaurant. What you'll see is a small cosy place. The outdoor seating area isn't much. Max 5-7 people can sit there. Indoor seating is something which i wouldn't recommend. Anyday ill choose the outdoor seating, which is a really chill place to drink and enjoy some good mangi food.
So far i have tried their paneer tikka, finger chips, bbq pork ribs, bbq chicken wings, beef fry and chips n cheese from their starters. I absolutely loved how the dishes were just bursting with flavours except for the chips and cheese which i, for some reason didn't enjoy much.
In their main course, i had mutton sukka, chicken vindaloo and chicken steak. It was good.
The service and music is really good. The staff is courteous and very helpful.
I would definitely visit this place again and recommend it.
You get beer, vine and whiskey there too.
A cozy quiet place with a perfect setting to enjoy an evening.
We went to this place because a couple of our friends found it and suggested it to us.. But when we went it was called Backstreet Diner's. Since then it has been remodeled and rebranded as Lobo's Food Lounge. I am guessing that's a change in management. Very difficult to spot unless you know the place before hand. It's off Kamanahalli main road on the road opposite the public toilet(sorry that's how I always spot it) .. It's close to the parivar shop.
They are supposed to specialize in anglo food and so every time we've been here we've stuck to their anglo food. The coconut rice is excellent. We've always found it well spiced and just right. I can't vouch for the authenticity of the anglo taste. But we've liked what we've had. We've tried their beef curry which was terrific. The Beef Vindaloo was also great but a tad too mustardy for my liking. Again if that is the authentic taste . then it probably is an acquired taste. I liked it nevertheless. They have a chicken roast that is excellent too. Today we tried their chicken jalfrezi .. Again it was excellent. No complaints there.
Ambiance is nothing luxurious. Very basic and clean. The rates are decently priced (but they have been hiked from the days of backstreet diners). Good service. (although there are times we've waited for too long :) Today we didn't).
So all in all a decent place to visit and the food tastes great.
Food taste - 4.5/5
Ambiance - 3/5
Service - 4/5
VFM - 4/5

Red n white decor and hats of to the amazing customer service makes you fee at home....perfect spices and starters were good....
Neato place with really tasty food n easy on the pockets as well.......
There’s a special charm to this restaurant and I’m pretty sure you’d figure that out the moment you walk in.
My review would be based on Food, Service, Ambiance and a tiny little observation that may help.
Food: They do serve up some really great food, very homemade with an elegant touch. They also do offer a variety of continental dishes, sizzlers, seafood and steaks. A must try would be, 1. The BBQ Pork Ribs, well-cooked ribs in a dark, delicious gravy, the chips and cheese as a side dish served with tartar sauce is quiet a combination. 2. The Beef steak had small chunks of meat with well-cooked potato in a very homemade style that’s sure to bring back some good old memories.
Service: They have a very warm, welcoming and very well dressed staff. Service time, not too long. Food served on white ceramic plates is pretty neat.
Ambiance: The ambiance is simply delightful, overhead lamps, serviettes with an aromatic candle at every table, a guitar tucked away in the corner, music from the 80’s…its quiet a pleasant place to dine.
On Valentine’s Day, they did have a special menu prepared, instrumental music playing in the background, it did bring up the charm…and a rose was offered to all who entered.
An observation made though was that the restaurant seemed empty, probably because they've just opened, it’s in a bi-lane and not on the main road, not sure. A restaurant like this would go by word of mouth. Do notice the rating made, its because there's potential in a place like this, a must try.
Do visit the place and share your experience.
The staff was very helpful.
They made sure to make my size available later even if it wasn't available at the time.
The manager went out of his way to explain the USP's of the footwear.
The staff was deeply engaging
I have purchased shoes for women here. I would like to appreciate the people working their such a down to earth guys. Also they know how to interact with customer and address them. I would like to let them know that they should learn local language Kannada too when it comes to business. Parking available in front of the showroom so nothing to worry. I could see good collection in this showroom for men too.
Helpful staffs with patience. You will see good variety and excellent collection of shoes here compared with other Liberty showrooms nearby. The only issue that you are going to face is finding a parking spot. Kammanahalli's parking is always occupied, no matter which day of the week it is.
Good quality products. No parking is available.
You'll get here sandals, shoes formals as well as in formals. Staff are friendly and cooperative. You can also buys various types of leather bag.
Budget friendly.
Good comfortable sandals and shoes of all possible variety.
Plz don't ignore it coz it's an Indian company but I tell you it's products are worth competing in the foreign market!
The staff in the showroom are very helpful. They understand they have a close competitor nearby and will go the extra mile in treating customers very well.
The store experience has changed ever since a change in management occured.
A one stop shop for my family now I must say
