New Sagar is a familiar name for anyone staying in and around teachers colony or Venkatapura main road.... Have been coming to this outlet for over 3 years now...the owner or Anna as we call him is a very nice person...he values his customers a lot... Open till 11:30 this is the only place in this area...coming to their food...dal tadka and Gobi Manchurian was my favourite but I personally feel Gobi Manchurian quality has degraded a bit...I generally order Kerala parota and egg masala..most of their main course items taste good and the quantity is also nice given the low price...however u may feel that most gravies kinda taste the same...the staff is very friendly... For delivery we directly contact Anna(owner)...no other mode..all in all its a good place to have food given the price...u rarely get food at such rates...don't judge the place by its ambience...
Dont judge the place by its look.The place might look shabby n small n way below standard for most IT professionals used to the delux ways of life;but trust me this place serves way above average food at cheap rates than you can expect.It is the only place in HSR which is open till late 11:30 & they are ready to deliver at free of cost.Moreover you can actually customise your dishes if you visit the place not in the peak hours.
Personally I love their main courses...be it veg or non-veg.Although I do not have a good experiene with their starters.Its average.Not the kind we would like to have.
My basic recommendation would be thei 'Dal Tadka'.Even posh & over d top restaurants wud bow infront it for their dal.
So feel hungry & keep ordering from this place.

Very close to my house... I like having food here. Its pretty opposite to the name it has. I mean... They serve nonveg food also. The taste is good. Quantity is good... Especially the roti... Its huge. U probably can take a delivery or pick a parcel as its little hot inside and the crowd aint too good. I just feel that the quality of the oil can be reduced and improved.
This place can be visited daily if you live in teachers colony and nearby areas....

Only shop in hsr open till 11:30pm Friendly staff... And a small joint so you can directly walk upto the kitchen and customize your food.
Cost of dinner for 2 vegetarians can be less than 150. May not appear ultra hygienic but not dirty or smelly either. They however use cheap ketchup. Get your own :P
Tasted all the food in veg here..
All are really tasting gud except noodles,fried rice and their sauce..
