Lakeview milkbar Has a lovely decor with a range of dessert options. It’ is actually a bit overpriced.
Tried the ice cream cake and it was so delicious. It just melts in your mouth. The ice cream cake was fresh and really tasty.

Not my first rodeo into a Lakeview, and this one is considerably tinier than its counterpart on MG Road.
Not matter for the size however, the offerings remain the same, and they remain constantly perfect.
Bubble Waffle is the way to go, although other non-biased foodies would suggest branching out and trying other dessert options as well.
I am still not a hard-core dessert fan, but I'd stake my life to be back at this Milkbar soon.

At last, we got a chance to visit one of the cities oldest icecream parlors—the Lakeview Milkbar. We Visited their Kalyan Nagar branch. It's a medium-sized outlet which got a beautiful interior and an artificial vertical garden.
I liked the seating; they've used a few small tables with tiny seats, and there's a big center table with ten high rise chairs that can accommodate ten people at a time.
Now time to explore their signature desserts. We've ordered: Banoffee Waffle, Hawaiian High, Chilli Chicken Subs, Peri Peri Chicken Burger, Magic Chocolate, Red velvet Cheesecake thick shake, and 3 in 1 ice cream special.
Banoffee waffle: Its a bubble waffle garnished with Nutella, Banana splits, and Vanilla Icecream. We loved it.
Hawaiian High Pizza: It's a thin-crusted pizza layered with a mix of Chicken, mutton, pineapple, capsicum, and mozzarella cheese. It tasted delicious.
Chilli Chicken Subs: Media sized subs stacked with spicy Chicken, capsicum, olive, and onion. It was excellent and won our hearts. If possible, replace the potato chips with French fries.
Peri-Peri Chicken Burger: It's a spicy burger loaded with peri-peri chicken, lettuce, olive, capsicum, tomatoes, and onion. We found this to be too hot, but it tastes good. Potato chips are not going well with the burger. Please consider it.
Magic Cake: A chocolate layered cake garnished with cash and walnut and soggy wafer cone. The cake was not fresh; it tastes dry. You hardly feel any magic in this.
Red velvet thick shake: I loved this drink. It's a creamy shake based with red velvet cheesecake topped with fresh cream. Please leave some space in your tummy to finish this thick shake.
3 in 1 ice cream: Its a combination of Mango, Butterscotch, and Fig N Honey. It tasted good.
The overall food experience was excellent. The service was ok. Nothing great.

Such yummy milkshakes I tel you. Ordered for Oreo shake and Chocolate fudge milkshake. Both were so delicious and equally filling. I am sure you will be quite full for a long time after having one of their shakes. It is one of the oldest chain and the quality is excellent. Would have again .
The service was okay. Not great. The waffle was definitely a 4 star. The ambience was also very pleasing. The cutlets were really bad. Didn't like the cutlets at all!
Their cutlets come with mint chutney that also has a hint of wasabi in it. Tastes nice
The nutella cream cheese grilled sandwich was my favourite crunchy on the outside and yummy melt in the mouth when you bite in.
Great place that is open till late (1am).
Polite staff and good waffles. Will try the icecream Sunday's next.

Nice place with an old times feel. Requested a customised fruit salad with cream ,which the staff was kind enough to oblige to. Lamb roast was nice and uncomplicated. Brownie sizzler was also nice .have been here multiple times before ,the experience is getting better .they have over come the initial hurdles
I had an amazing time here with my family!!the food was good actually the only thing i liked here was the desserts.We ordered some pizza which wasn't that great as the crust was thick and a little hard to chew.Overall the set up and the crowd there was pretty decent and peaceful!much recommended!

This place is a must visit. They have a great ambience and an authentic taste in the dishes they sell. We ordered paneer mint chesse sandwich and dry fruit icecream with honey. The dishes when we tasted it just melted in my mouth and every bite of icecream was filled with figs, cashew, badam and honey was adding the charm to it.
This was in my bucket list from a very long time. I was so excited to visit it when I saw a branch in Kalyan nagar. Great ambience and friendly staff. Now coming to the delicacies, ordered a mouth watering Nutella cheese cake with a shimmery glitter on top and a bubble wrap waffle topped with a brownie and ice cream and loads of choco syrup. Since I was already full of my meal I didn't have space in my tummy for all of it. Definitely worth the price . Loved the place and the food.
Our good old Lake view is now in Kalyan Nagar.. brings back some crazy childhood memories for us ... great ice creams as always. They’ve really made a nice hangout and a pleasant ambience.. a must visit place

Lakeview just brings such nostalgia with it. Most/some of us have grown up eating Lakeview icecream, usually from their MG road branch.
This branch of Lakeview is not very different in terms of what they serve.
The Ambience is quite nice, there's indoor and outdoor seating. One glaring issue I'd like to mention are the flies in the indoor section.
Anyway, coming to food, we ordered the pista milkshake and the callison special which came with four scoops of icecream- vanilla, chocolate, pistachio and raspberry with chocolate sauce of top and nuts. It was okay, the raspberry isn't my favourite and the chocolate sauce is unnecessary but overall it was good, their pistachio Flavour is actually quite wonderful, I'd recommend trying that out. Service is meh, so the service charge they levy is pointless.

A very old ice cream parlour in Bangalore is now in kalyan nagar and this is exciting because they serve the best icecreams in the city. Lakeview special is a must try.

Awesome place for Ice creams. This place is a branch of Lakeview MG Road. Which has been there for ages. Their seating and interiors are however improved a lot over the years. Their ice creams are amazing. If you are a brownie fan. Then you must try the sizzling brownie ice cream. This has been my favourite over the years. I have always loved this place. And will always be back.
This place has always been my favorite ice cream parlor. When I was a child, my family always went to the MG road branch every weekend. Their Chocolate Sundae with nuts (they use roasted cashew and not peanuts), Honeymoon special, chicken sandwich, egg sandwich (grilled) are delicious!! Also, try the Hawaiian high pizza which has pineapple as one of the toppings! Haha...yes PINEAPPLE 😁and this place is open till 1 a.m.
I can assure you that this is the best ice cream parlor in Kalyan Nagar. When i first visited it, i found it to be on a bit costlier side but when i tasted the ice cream, i can tell you it was worth paying the amount. The interior is good, they have both indoor and outdoor service. You can even order it in your car, they will serve you in your car too. And its open till midnight, just perfect for those nights, where you wanna go out for a short ride and enjoy a cup of ice cream. They have a variety of options in their menu to choose from. I personally like the caramel sundae and waffle with vanilla ice cream. This two are favorites here. I have tried other menu items too, and i was impressed with the overall quality.
You can surely have a visit here and have a great ice cream experience.

I heard about this place from my colleague and realized they are quite old into this business and started in MG road yearsss ago. Their stuff is definitely good.. especially their bubble waffle, american shake. They have so much on their dessert menu, definitely need to go again to try more options. A must try if you are fond of desserts
This is new kid on the block. I wanted to try this especially because of great name the MG road branch has. And I wasn't disappointed. Admittedly we only had ice cream and milk shake here but they were great.
While the single scoops are great, I would stay away from their sundaes.
The service could be better as could be staff courtesy. The decor is nice though.

Had ordered a rainbow cake it looked really pretty and was even more tasty to eat. It had the perfect amount of icing and sweetness. The cake layers was also soft and moist. Totally loved it
Visited for a late night dessert craving. Had my usual Fudge Brownie. It was excellent as always.
Also, keep visiting this place often and the ice cream quality is definitely a different level. It has a separate fan base.

Red velvet bubble waffle is my absolute favourite of this place and my must order. This outlet too didn't disappoint me at all! The rich cream cheese and vanilla icecream with the spongy bubble waffle. Pizzas are great too. I'll try Subs and sandwiches next time. The legacy is maintained well.
A cozy place where one can get rich creamy icecreams and light cakes. The taste is spot on delicious and super yummy. This place is at 1st floor and they have seating arrangements outside at the ground level. The location is prime, the ambience is rustic and contemporary. The only negative point this place needs a very engaging waiters who can bring the whole experience to another level.
A late night hangout place when all the dessert parlours are shut. Glad they have opened another branch in this side of the town. Good variety of desserts and fast-food items. The service is pretty efficient and they maintain good covid protocols.Their vanilla milk shake is something to die for. Overall, a great place to chill and have a same good food.
