I visited here for an eye checkup on 7 November 2023 ( Weekday )
The checkup and consultation fees was rs 550.
The process of checkup etc. was pretty smooth and I am happy with the hospitality.
This hospital can be considered as a good option for quality and affordable consultation and eye checkup hospital within Bangalore.
Overall, the staff and doctors were co operative and the entire process took me around 3 hrs.

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Sankara Eye Care Centre in Kundalahalli and I must say that it was an extremely positive experience. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating and made me feel extremely welcome.
The facility itself is state of the art, modern and immaculately clean. I was very impressed with the number of treatments available and the quality of care that was provided. The doctors were very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me in detail.
I had LASIK SBK under Anand Balasubramanyam sir. Now I got perfect vision. There is good parking place and hospital canteen. Total it cost me around 65k .
Had visited this eye hospital for my wife.
After entering u have to take a token and wait till ur no comes, later u have to pay consultation and registration if it's ur first visit.
1. First they check for ur eye power if it's clear
2. Second u will be sent to consult a doctor there also token no continued carried out by ur name.
Impressed by the way they check and also take time after each check and u have a canteen with affordable rate for plate meal.
This is very good eye hospital near Marathahalli and kundanahalli gate area.
Perfect example of Women Empowerment just because more employees are Women only.

Negative point is time you have to spend whole day for simple test and procedure.
Dr. Lalitha did the cataract surgery for both mother and father. She is very methodical and explains the process of admission to surgery clearly. She has good experience operating many patients which comes out clearly every time you meet her. More than everything my parents had 100% confidence to go ahead with surgery with her for her being very good in dealing with them. She is calm, diligent and patient with her patients. Sankara hospital staff are the best when it comes to dealing with people, everyone right from the reception staff, nursing staff, insurance staff, cash department , appointments department are top notch. It is very evident that everyone here works with that passion to serve. I would recommend everyone to get any of their eye related issues treated here. Thank you!
Hospital is neatly maintained. They should not allow footwear inside the hospital.
They are taking much time for the reason unknown. May be due to lack of coordination.
The staff behaviour towards queries of patients is not cordial and friendly.It should be improved.
Overall, the hospital is nice and good services are available. All services are available under one roof. Nice food is available with affordable cost.

Very good service. They do all Kinds of eye tests and is not expensive. They take good care of the patients. Doctors are well qualified and they don't rush as in the case of other eye hospitals. They have a good canteen and very large parking area. They accept donations to treat poor patients and they have a community eye check up for villages. Very impressed with their work and professionalism.
Electronic Medical Records introduced... much quicker nowadays. Canteen is expensive for poor people...
Amazing experience. For any eye related issue i will always recommend Sankara eye hospital. I got my Father’s and my Father in Law’s Cataract surgery done from here only. Staff is very very cooperative and good. Doctors are very good and efficient. Cataract Surgery is done within 30 mins and they will discharge you in 2 hrs. Highly recommended.
Very good eye hospital in Bangalore run by a mutt. The charges are very minimal and they have good eye specialist. Weekends are very crowded and it's recommended to visit on weekdays.
The place is well kept and it disabled friendly as well since they have ample ramps for wheelchair access.

The medical staff was knowledgeable and compassionate, making me feel at ease throughout. I highly recommend this hospital for their excellent cataract surgery services.
Very good hospital. I came here to get my eye correction. All the doctors were very helpful and the staff assist you at every step. I got my lasik surgery done and now i could see well. Thanks to Dr. Umesh and Dr. Wartson. I had a great experience at Sankara eye hospital.
It was a very good experience. From the outside it looks like a mediocre hospital, but once you enter their compound, things take a drastic turn. The hospital and the surroundings are very well maintained, almost looks like a place to hangout. They have their own canteen in a separate building. Ample amount of parking space. The hospital itself is big and accommodating. I was startled by the queue in the morning, then came to realise they only work till afternoon. There are a lot of doctors and students, i believe, so there is only a short waiting time. Consultation with a doctor plus checkup only cost me Rs. 550/- which is good. Overall a good choice for getting your eye checkup.
