Good ambience good food evryone must try
Best spring roll I have ever had. It's has a burst of sensitive flavours and the sauce is really good.
Good packing.
Reasonable pricing.
Must try veg spring rolls here.
Nice food. Really different than other chinese restaurants.
Szechuan noodles and garlic fried rice was the best. In fact it was really long since I ate good Chinese and I totally enjoyed the noodles. It was rice noodles and there was no happier person than me.
Shanghai court , a Chinese cuisine restaurant , located in JP Nagar and several places is a dining restaurant.
With complete Chinese cuisine, and mesmerising ambience the place definitely makes us go wow.
Service is neat, quick and satisfactory.
Coming to the food, I tried the wonton soup, veg dumplings, chow mein and Hakka noodles.
Veg dumplings is highly recommended.
Wonton soup was filled with wontons and veggies and perfect amount of spice.
Noodles and chowmein were good too.
A perfect place for good lunch.
One of the few restaurants in BLR that maintains the 90s Indo-Chinese flavor and service (Think Continental Restaurant of Brigade Road, Hotel Rama, Rice Bowl or original Chung Wah from early 90s). The place is small, but was clean and decent when I visited. They didn't play Chinese instrumental music but played English music from the 80s and 90s (Floyd, Beatles) [this is so much better than listening to Hindi pop on FM radio, which some of today's Chinese restaurants do]. These things really matter, dunno why so many new places ignore these details for their ambiance.
The staff were courteous and well spoken. They waited the tables well, and were quick to serve another round of helpings when they saw an empty plate. I asked about various dishes on the menu, and every item was politely explained. We asked for one too many dishes when we gave our order, and the guy immediately and politely told us that it would be too much for us considering their portion size. That's class service! Don't get this kind of service even in fancy restaurants and lounges these days. Keep it up guys.
For starters, we ordered Shanghai Chicken and Veg Steamed Momos. The latter required a bit of salt but nothing that couldn't be fixed right at the table. For main course, we had Egg Fried Rice, and Black Pepper Chicken. The fried rice took me right back to the 90s with its authentic taste, and the gravy was quite delicious too.
We were just 2 people, and the portions are pretty good, so got stuffed with just these 4 dishes (had to parcel the mains, because of the quantity).
Overall, very happy I discovered this place, and will definitely visit again. Highly recommended if you're in this side of town.
Excellent taste with very good quantity
We ordered Veg Manchow and Chicken hot and sour soups 1x2, Veg Cantonese Noodles, Prawn triple fired rice, Hong Kong chicken (No Lamb dishes are available), and chilli garlic noodles,
Small place with around 15 tables. Food was pretty good. They make the order without MSG if you inform them during order . Hakka noodles and chopsuey tasted great .
I booked a chicken scheswan noodles
Good quantity ...... And the packing was not that much good .... Anyway it's fine
But price is negotiable
For the quantity they gave ...
Anyway good ... Spicy ... Also tasty ...... ๐
But still 4*
This is my go to place for Chinese! I love the chicken momos and the basil rice with garlic prawns !! I have ordered from here for several get togethers at my place and all my friends love the food here even vegetarians!
Overall experience was good. The service was prompt and the food was as per expectations. Will surely want to try the same again. The quantity of the food was also good.

Iโd definitely recommend this place. Good food with lovely ambience. Also, service is great.
We tried Chilli chicken starter, Basil and lemon fish, butter noodles and Paneer chilli. Everything was great! Worth the money too!
Genuinely speaking the food there is really good..I never had plans visiting to this particular restaurant, but I show the decor and got attracted and went inside..Order a bowl of chicken Manchow soup, man it was a lot soup at such affordable price and it was yummy as well, then order soup fish finger, that was good too..complains only with sizes but taste wise no question , it was little expensive as well..then order hunan chicken and butter garlic chicken fried it was okay, enjoyed the Hunan dish but fried rice was sort of okayish and little blunt..
But if you are in Bangalore and wants to taste good authentic Chinese and Thai please it is a must visit..Go with our family and friends it is worth a visit ๐๐๐
Have been to other 2 branches and have loved the thai spread .....this time had chance to visit their Jpnagar branch ... the taste does not change...loved their manchow followed by red thai curry veg kothio and flavoursome basil rice. Courteous staff and matching ambience... Will surely keep coming...
My very first visit to this place was really satisfactory. Nice place to eat with family and friends, nice ambience and good tasted food. I liked their honey chilli chicken and burnt pepper prawn the most would look further to visit here again.
A big fan of chinese food anyday. And when you have a birthday treat with chinese food its even more amazing.Every single dish ordered just made my mouth water. Delicious and tasty. I would prefer to have more spice in the noodles and fried rice which i really felt was a bit sweet. Otherwise the whole ambience, food, place is more than satisfactory.
A good place to eat with friends and family. The service was good too. Food tasted good. Ambience is good. Overall a nice time spent here with friends. O would recommend to visit this place with no doubts.
Wow what a beautiful place really impressed with good service ,authentic Chinese and Thai food.Always tried new dishes and visited multiple times. My experience is great on my every visit. They are famous for authentic sea food and chicken dishes. Overall, it's a must visit place for all Chinese cuisine lovers. Thank you. Kudos to management for maintaining excellent quality.

A best family restaurant in Bangalore, which has bundle of choices.
I am in love with the Padthai noodles, this flat noodle is just amazing and itโs spicy too. You should also try the Thai curry which is served here. This is one of the most recommended Thai restaurants in my list for Bangalore City. When it comes to me for Thai I tell people to visit here first and then try other place.
Great food, Great ambience and lovely staff. The place usually is crowded in weekends, so better book table in advance. Must try if you want to explore different type of cuisine.
I usually order from here. But for the first time I came here to have lunch. Place is neat, clean & Cosy. Had ordered prawn burnt pepper & Chicken hakka noodles. Noodles was ok. But I was disappointed with the prawns. It was too salty & there was no prawns.
Very humble and polite staff. Great food lots of options to pick. Amazing taste, my favorite will be soup :) Best place to visit if you are around J P Nagar
Straight away coming to the point, it's a nice place for Chinese and Thai food. Chicken Kung pao was little disappointing but not bad in taste.
Noodles and fried rice were good as well.
Extremely good food and good ambience. Be careful of your order as the portions are very generous. Only downside was slightly long serving times. Great place to eat at with friends or family.
Been there for dinner my wife. Had ordered chicken manchow soup , fish fingers for starters. For the main course Settled with Chicken Shanghai rice and Kung Pao chicken. Soup and fish fingers was delicious. Shangai rice was the best rice item we had in a while. Bit dissappointed with Kung pao chicken but the amazing service and wait time even on a crowded weekend makes up for it. Will visit again for sure
The food here is always great and we see ourselves going again and again. Love the flavors and taste. Great options for vegetarians as well. Recommending this place for a great lunch or dinner.
Me and my brother went there . Ordered a tofu + baby corn manchurian. Ordered noodles soup . Ordered mushroom noodles and fried rice. One word for the food quality. Awesomeeee . However, time to service can be improved. Hence a 4 star
After my friend reference visited this place last weekend, 30 minutes to get a table. Our order was ,chicken tom yom soup, hot pot chicken Biryani, burnt pepper chicken fanily chilly garlic fried ric, and hunan chicken one and I found it a bit over spiced. The Chicken was so tender and well marinated. The hunan chicken had a lot of chicken pieces which made it a delight. Chicken burnt pepper chicken was really yummmmm, on time service friendly staff. Well maintained restaurant, need to visit again
Brilliant place... people make you feel like you are at good place ... reservations a must at weekend .. ample parking space ... they have fine dining area will make you to eat and eat and eat...
An amazing Asian restaurant in the locality, loved the food here, the Momo's were really tasty, even the spring rolls were really crisp and lip-smacking and the whole food was amazing, we were 10 people, it was pocket friendly too, the food was really satisfying and this is a must try place, if u live near by...
There is a reason this place is crowded on weekends. In that area of JP Nagar this is one of the best. Safe to say that it serves some tasty Asian food in all of Bangalore with reasonable cost. Tasty, clean / hygienic , reasonable cost, friendly service and ok ambience are the upsides that brings in the crowd. Now it has some of the downsides of a crowded place , like your order may take a bit longer and needs some follow-up to get it on the table but the waiters have the right attitude.
Ordered tomyum soup which felt a bit less thicker than what I had in Thailand. The tomyum taste was also too mild. Chicken momos, fresh. Sezhuan fried rice was definitely tasty and enough for two. The table sauces where the usual soy, chilly and something else which was meaty but no spice or any particular taste. For desserts there was this dates pancake with ice cream which felt crunchy and datey and soft all at the same time. Not too sweet. Good one.
We ordered-ย
Hunan Tofu - Must try. It was delicious and quantity was good too.
Veg Szechuan Steam Koithio - It's basically plain noodles accompanied by a large quantity of red curry. It was good too.
Phad Khimao - This is also noodles which was pretty average and had plenty of vegetables.ย
Virgin Pina Colada - It was pretty ok.ย
Orange Pop- It had mix of orange juice and soda. It was amazing and is a must try.
Love the food and courteous staff! Have been to all their outlets, and all of them have great food! The honey glazed noodles with ice cream is really yum!
One of the best place in jp nagar for Delicious Chinese cuisine at a very reasonable cost. Had been there with friends and ordered chicken wonton soup, chicken lollipop, chicken butter garlic noodles and coriander chicken, chilly garlic fride rice, chilly chicken gravy. Taste was yum!
If you're a Chinese lover and can compromise on ambience, then should visit here at least once.
Truth be told, I've ordered home deliveries far too many times from this place and had never actually been there, until one night I decided to walk out of my house and have dinner in this restaurant. I love what food they prepare, I'm on a checklist to try out every single dish on their menu! ๐and they have so much to offer. It's a small cozy restuarant, with some really handsome waiters ๐ ahem! Back to the review...๐
While I was here I could see in the people's faces as they sat and enjoyed their food, they really looked satisfied, and it was the same with me. ๐
My recommendations:
1. Manchow soup (veg/non-veg)
2. Noodle Soup
3. Steamed momos
4. Wontons
5. Chilly Garlic Potatoes
6. Por Pia Sai Pak
7. Koithio
8. Thai Chicken Green Curry
Nice chinees food place in jp nagar. It's been a 8 months since its opened and their good has always tasted great.
The prices are reasonable and a good meal for 2 will cost about 700 rd including chicken fried Rice, chicken gravy, chicken soup, chicken appetizer and mineral water. Happy with the taste, quanity and price. Will recommend it. Well maintained., Friendly staff,
One of the good Chinese restaurant in JP Nagar. Ambiance is simple yet nicely done. We ordered veg schezwan fried rice and paneer chilli gravy. Quantity was good enough to be served for 2 adults.
Tasty food.
Humble staffs.
Pocket friendly restaurant.
Ample parking space for 2 wheelers.
I shall definitely visit again to try out more dishes.
Polite and friendly staff. Food is always good, whether dine in or home delivery. Butter garlic chicken is the kids favorite. The Thai curry is definitely worth ordering.

No regrets here, a place to visit.
Place is great ! Service very kind and courteous .. food amazing.. ambience is beautiful and royal..
Must visit restaurant ! Had a very good time in .. mocktails are awesome...
This was my second visit to Shanghai court with family. Being ardent non veg lovers, our orders comprised of non veg delights but we also tried our hands on their veg delicacies.
We ordered wanton soup which was extremely pleasing. Very subtle and intact with flavours. Though the other soup which we ordered, Tom Yam Phak wasn't not at all comparable.
We ordered rice and noodles and believe me Shanghai court will never let you down on that. It tasted just awesome and one can actually have them without any curry.. although we ordered one red thai curry with choice of prawns and it tickled our taste buds. We wanted to try with some not at all spicy stuff for which they suggested Buddha delight.. honestly it wasn't subtle but tasteless. Not a good choice would say.
For starters I treated myself with burnt pepper chicken which was in my list on our first visit too...a must try.
The service was good and very courteous staff with good ambiance. Would suggest everyone to do visit this place which is high on taste and low on price.
Good food, service and ambience.
1st time order from Shanghai Court, liked the food. They delivered using their own person as Zomato failed to send a delivery boy.
We had selected this place for our sons 5th birthday. The selection was based on simple two reasons it was 5th year and this place was very near to my house. once we reached the place after had reserved it for 48 guest, I was surprised to see the welcome given to us, the manager Mr Sudhir was ever smiling. Now coming to the main part that's food and service, all the items were beautifully prepared considering I saw all the dishes being enjoyed by children's and there parents. Service was more of personized and was attentive.
Thank you team Shanghai Court for making our evening a memorable one. All the best!!
After Beijing Bites in 7thphase closed down, we were waiting for another good Chinese place to open up in the same area. Visited the recently opened Shanghai court today and we liked the food a lot. Started with chicken wonton and veg manchow soups. both were totally delicious, kids licked their bowls clean. Ordered Veg steamed momos and chicken lollipop. Slightly higher spice levels but equally tasty. The chicken Hakka noodles had the right amount of seasoning which was always somehow missing in the places I had them till date. Other things ordered were American chopsuey crispy, honey fried noodles with Ice cream and cassata. everything was yummy. service is comparatively slow but friendly staff. Definitely will visit again.
the owner was amazing good and polite. he was very courteous to change the dish. good food and nice ambience, no compliants at all. will be back
Tasty food
Good service
I loved all food which we ordered
Good ambience
Love to visit again
spicy soup ,tasty noodles...

Best hotel in south Bangalore in terms of food and service :) I tried Thai and Chineseย dishes, it was of great taste and must visit place for people around south Bangaloreย :)
Value for money :) 100% suggestible :)
Will re-visit shortly :)
Had ordered food for home delivery. Packaging was good. Delivery was on time. Food quantity was really good.
Food ordered : Chicken Manchow Soup , Chicken Lollipop , Dragon Prawns , Chicken Schezwan Fried Rice
Chicken Manchow Soup tasted good but was a little bland for my liking. Chicken Lollipop had the perfect sauce coating and was flavourful. Dragon Prawns was slightly sweet but tasted amazing! Those who do not prefer overtly sweet Chinese dishes can also give it a try. Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice had ample Chicken pieces , was spicy as its supposed to be and was again quite good !
Overall, Shanghai Court is a really good option to satisfy your Chinese cravings, if staying in and around JP Nagar-7th Phase.
1) staff very good
2) food very good
3) ambience simple and nice
4) location of restaurant very nice
5) must try items are burnt rice soup with chicken really very good and honey chicken nice
5) over all Shanghai court very nice
I have tried their RBI layout outlet also , this one is similar in ambience and taste of food.
Thai veg Tom kha phak soup was not great , didn't had any vegetables except minced onions and carrot.
Shanghai chicken was good , triple schehwan rice was worst .
Food is awesome. Its has become our fav weekend take away. Tried the vegetarian dishes... Wanton soup is go far... Almost authentic Chinese.. Can smell the sesame chilli paste in it. Good portions in all the item Served.
Wanted to write review on this restaurant for quiet sometime but I keep forgetting it.
Hey everyone, Finally after years of waiting, we have a good Chinese Restaurant at JP Nagar. I' am impressed ๐๐
I was bored with the lights of Beijing Bites, Zhang's, Chung Wah, Wang's etc.., Shanghai Court gives authentic Indo-Chinese dishes at a pocket friendly price. Though their menu does not include fancy items, they offer good taste and quantity, interiors are nice while service time needs some improvement. Tried their Veg items only one occasion and Non Veg items on multiple occasions and never felt better.
We had Paneer chillli and Thai green curry from Shanghai court. Portion size is good though slightly pricey. Food was tasty. Lot of chicken pieces in green curry.

Food is good so is the ambience ๐ I would come again sometimes or order from here. They suggest good food too.
Man-chow soup is good, crispy peking chicken is the best and for desert you must try honey fried noodles in icecream
The food is yummy and reasonable. The place is well decorated, the staff are polite and helpful. Home delivery is also on time and good quality.
Very good restaurant for authentic chinese cuisine in the rbi layout neighbourhood. Had tried their Vegetable dumpling Manchurian, Schezwan Rice's and Garlic fried rice.. Excellent ambience and courteous service.. Would recommend to others.
This is your good old neighbourhood Chinese restaurant serving the select menu which most such restaurants offer.
The food is made fresh and felt comforting. The flavours are mild and you can always ask the waiters to recommend the dishes basis the spice profile you want
The service is prompt during weekdays
Prices are nominal, for two pax around 800++
What amazing Chinese!! Its Pocket friendly. They are truly focusing on the taste, rather than making it look fancy. Spring rolls are actual Indian style spring rolls, exactly what we expected. Portions are good for enough 2 to 3 people. If looking for a decent, everyday, go to Chinese joint for a reasonable quick grab or full fledged meal, this is that place!!
Today l visited shanghai court jp nagar the best Chinese restaurant in jp nagar to be honestly i am writing this review such a good atmosphere and ambience and really liked the way how they treat the customers and the taste of the foods are absolutely fantastic and must try munchow soup , burnt pepper chicken, chicken

This is a good Chinese/Thai restaurant in JP Nagar 7th phase. They have the most commonly ordered Chinese/ North Indian tandoor dishes.
Taste of the food was good. If you do not like spicy food, ask them for zero spice. Portion size was small for the price. All the ingredients used in the food seemed fresh and of good quality.
Service was good and prompt with polite staff and timely serving. Most of the waiters and managers know about the content of the food and ingredients used.
Atmosphere was good. Indoor temperature was maintained at tolerable levels, no bad odour, no flies. Cutlery and crockery with neat and tidy.
Price is a little high for the service and products offered. Price 3.5/5.
Have been going there for past 4 years. Food is delicious! Staff is very polite and helpful.
Tried manchow soup, it was good.
Dragon chicken pieces were huge and not upto the mark on taste.
Schezwan fried rice asked for non spicy but still it was spicy and kind of OK.
Chilli chicken tasted like chicken manchurian, taste wise was good.
Overall good ๐ but a bit expensive for the taste and quantity served.
for me this is One of best Chinese restaurant in Bangalore, this place is my all time favourite place for Chinese food, well maintained with quality food.and good service too am happy customer for Shanghai court jp nagar.

Amazing food great ambiance
Wow! Amused with the get taste.
Tried dragon chicken, chicken lollypop, basil fish, Thai red curry rice. Best of the nearby restaurants.
Enjoyed the man how soup with good ambience.
You get the best Chinese and Thai food for very reasonable price, spring role is must try
Great food, thoughtful staff anticipating your every need, without being overly involved, make helpful suggestions. Relatively calm atmosphere.
I'd recommend the Momos , the Honey spicy potatoes and Pad Thai. Anything with their tofu was so-so,but certainly not bad.
Food is great, perfectly seasoned and flavorful which makes me think their Non Veg options should be really good...
Good food. Ambiance and service is really great
Had chicken garlic noodles with chilli chicken. Very tasty chinese dishes. Quantity is also decent
