The best shawarma place in The whole of Kammanahalli! Been going here for 5 years now and not a single day has there been a change in the taste or service! The Toum is not very overwhelming and the staff is super friendly! They have shifted to the parallel road as the original shop is under renovation!! Any true Shawarma lover should try this place! The closest to the authentic Arabian Shawarma...
Woah woah woah! Never had i seen this big shawarma until i visited this cafe. Soo big and soo bloody filling with very little to hurt your pocket. I have nothing to express. Just the best place to eat rolls. You need to wait in a queue to get your order and decent place to munch. You gotta need a hell lotta tissues to wipe yourself for every bite you take. That's more i can reveal. Must visit👍🏿👍🏿🔥
My go to place for a quick bite of flavour packed rolls.
They're filling and not too heavy with the right amount of fries, sauce, veggies and meat.
Pretty decent taste and well priced.
Al Amal Is A Small Cafe In Kammanahalli With Limited Seatings. The Shawarma Here Is Superb & Also The Arabian Sahan Is Really Good. Nice Taste & Pocket Friendly Aswell.
The non veg rolls here are massive and actually very time consuming to eat as they are very heavy and loaded with lot of stuffs.Having one roll from here makes me feel full quickly
The smaller fry amongst the multitude of food places in Kamanahalli, this is my go-to place for authentic shawarmas. Repeat: AUTHENTIC shawarmas - minus too much cabbage, minus mayo, with fries, and with near actual toum. The falafels were a little disappointing when I last had them. Yet to try out the other rolls and sandwiches, but chances for that are less when there's such good shawarma on offer!
Added bonus: for those who've stayed in the 'gelf'/Gulf/Dubai, you've got Vimto and Shani on offer here :D
Price and VFM quotient: Total VFM! Shawarmas for Rs. 60 is amazing for what they offer
Taste: The awesomest shawarmas I've found in Bengaluru. As I said, real toum is added. And no unnecessary stuff like onions or mayo.
Ambience: Is more of a takeaway place with 2 plastic tables and chairs outside. Preparation and kitchen area is fairly neat.
Service: You order over the counter, and you receive it, nothing else more :D Is fairly quick.
Revisit quotient: Hell yes! In spite of the distance and other 'distractions' like Al Amanah and other places ;) - this is among the places I'll go to again and again.
This place is located between kullappa Circle and Empire restaurant, it's a small corner shop with barely a few seating outside the shop. This is advisable for take away. My favorite here are chicken with falafel and chicken kudu. Also do try out the mutton samosas on offer. Mint tea is decent as well. I found this place while looking for other roll places in kammanahalli.
Wanted to try something new for a quick lunch yesterday. It was always al amanah for us but this time we chose to visit al Amal cafe which wasn't disappointing at all. I would call it a wonderful experience. The rolls really tasted good and they were properly rolled and served hot. The staff members were really polite and friendly to us. Huge chunks of chicken was used as filler which was the best part. The roll was made using a rumali which had French fries, mayonnaise, cabbage, tomatoes, meat, falafil and sauce. This place is reasonable as well. I would definitely visit them again and again for quick bites.
Exquisite Food. Easy on the pockets. Extremely Filling. What more could I ask for? A full 5 star rating just for those sausage rolls. I absolutely love this place. A must visit for me whenever I'm in Bangalore :D
When Al-amanah expanded their quality went down for a while. thats when I found this place. the shawarmas are good. so are the rolls but now alamanah is back to how they were so I dont visit here often.
Very similar in taste to Al amanah and pretty decent food. Quick rolls and pocket friendly. Goodor broke delivery . Will definitely come back !
Being a vegetarian I've only tried falafil (veg) and falafil egg. They taste just amazing. This is not where I usually go to. Have just visited the place once with a huge group of friends and not even one complained about the taste. Non-vegetarians had a great dinner. One roll and everyone were full. It is real value for money while not compromising on quantity and quality.
Addictive rolls. The jumbo chicken
Roll Is something to die for... This place takes 'chicken rolls' to another level!! The crowd on a weekend will tell you about the quality of food they serve.
good for rolls ..try any liver rols................

..
A small place in kammanahalli which can easily go unnoticed, obly until u have nt tried it yet
Uts a compact place for fast food... even though it doesnt look like its gonna be all that delicious, but it sure is
Very less seating (on the footpath) but the taste of the food comoensates for it.... Shawarma plate is a must to try, its very filling and is pocket friendly
Waiting for my second visit there soon..!!
This is one and only place in Bangalore where you eat Arabian chicken and leaves with a happy face and filled stomach.
There is not much of anything about this other than the tasty inexpensive chicken rolls they provide. Its a place to get your tasty chicken but I doubt about hanging out there because of the rush they always have in there with hungry customers.
Chicken kudu roll Jumbo and Chicken roast roll Jumbo is two things you shouldn't miss if you go there.
And those of you potato haters who don't like French fries better tell the staff that you don't want that in your roll They do add that to every roll that they provide making it more filling.
I'm wondering why there aren't any reviews written for this place yet.
Al Amal Cafe is a small eatery located in Kammanahalli. Not very difficult to find. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious! Infact, the shawerma is one of the best I've eaten in Bangalore. They prepare the authentic Arabic shawerma rolls, unlike other places where the rolls are stuffed with vegetables (especially onions!). Other than the shawerma, the sandwiches are also very tasty. Try the prawn sandwich, definetly won't let you down!
I wouldn't mind taking a 1 hour journey from where I live just to eat here!
Only drawback would be that there is no seating arrangement. Other than that DEFINETLY RECOMMENDED!
Food- 5/5
Service- 5/5
Value for Money- 5/5 (I don't think there is any item on the menu that crosses 100)
It's no more a hidden gem if it's so famous....probably one of 2-3 places to make the best Falafel i have tried in Bangalore.
Falafel are fresh and hot and new trays keep coming out... they also have variations in Falafel rolls.
Don't go by the Cafe name, it's a take away eatery, but the crowd is crazy and will realize why once you start eating. The egg Falafel is awesome and his Shawarma too.... he has other top seller rolls too such as liver, crispy fish, and Mutton/chicken.
Waiting time on weekends might be long but the staff tries to clear the queues asap.
So good, so fresh, just tasting like a wow 👌
This is a hidden gem I found recently while passing by the lane, saw it crowded and thought of trying. A cafe/cafeteria serving variety of sandwiches, snacks and beverages in a nice setting. They have a seating space too but most prefer to grab their food and have it along. The place is crowded which catches your eye. I tried the chicken shawarma and it was very nice. There are many rolls & sandwich options. Had the spicy chicken roll which was in roomali roti, to my surprise it was very good. Also had the Tang and was pleasantly surprised to see it on the menu. Good portion and it's quite reasonable.

A must visit place for Shawarama Lover. They have a variety of Indian/Turkish rolls and Shawarama. Must try full chicken jumbo Shawarama. The only negative point is they have a limited sitting area.
Hello Foodies,
Here is another famous food spot from Kammanahalli, Bangalore. This place is located bit away from the famous Al-Amanah Cafe and you can experience less crowd and wait time here.
If you are a shawarma and falafel lover then this place is for you. Variety of shawarma options both in roll and plate, falafel too.
We tried out a plate of Turkish shawarma plate, I personally didn’t like the taste much as it had different flavour but my friend liked it.
This doesn’t mean their food is bad, just that the option I chose was not matching to my flavour preferences.
You can also get normal shawarma in roll, jumbo roll and plate. So don’t worry there’s everything for everyone. Food is prepared in front of us so no need to worry about hygiene.
Their shawarma pit itself is so big that we can understand how popular the shop is.
Talking about parking, there is no great parking space around but you can park few bikes next to the shop. For cars and other heavy vehicles you might need to find a safe spot to park.
Seating is also limited, best preference would be for take away or having a roll standing outside. If you are patient or lucky enough might get a seat.
So go have a visit to their outlet and choose the style you wanted to try or is craving for.
Food was good, I tried jumbo special roll
Good Taste Average Ambience.
I have had similar Arabian Roles at other cafes as well. The taste here was good. They have two sizes. A Jumbo size role is good for one person to fill him up. I would suggest people to give it a try, this place is worth it.
Coming to Ambience. It's a small restaurant with a few 3-4 tables like a cafe. There were flies which is the reason to rate the atmosphere as 3/5.
Service - The food preparation time is fast. For rest I didn't see the zeal in the folks to cater to a customer.
Instagram vs Reality - I have seen this place first on Instagram so I came here with a very high expectation, maybe that's why I wasn't much impressed with the overall experience. But if you come without the Instagram expectations then you would like this place.
If you are fine with eating at a small place without much whining then this place is very good.
Worth every penny.chicken afghani roll is a must try item😋
Randomly stumbled at this place when I was walking by, Who doesn’t love a Good Shawarma? But then, I was throughout impressed with the rolls & the quality of food here. They’re affordable & they maintain their quality too! I’ve been going back to this place on & again. Trying out new rolls & dishes every time I go there. Definitely recommend this, Do check out the Crispy Prawn Rolls & The Spicy Chicken Rolls!
For Shawarma enthusiasts, this spot is a haven! Boasting a delightful fusion of Indian and Turkish flavors, their diverse selection of rolls and Shawarmas is a culinary adventure. Don't miss out on the full chicken jumbo Shawarma—it's a game-changer. The only downside? Limited seating, so grab your flavorful feast to go and savor the experience!
They are located in kamanahalli main road serving one of the best shawarmas . Tastes amazing. Fast service. Clean and hygiene is maintained. Varieties of shawarmas and rolls available. Highly recommend this place.
It's a new place located in Kamanahalli similar to Al-Amanah. The rolls are good but honestly the comparison to Al-Amanah is not relevant because it's not quite the same especially compared to the spicy ones. They are good filling rolls though.
I tried the restaurant late at night and the crowd was quite a lot. The service handles crowd well though. The Al Amal Special roll is what I got here and it has a bit of everything in it. I ate the spicy roll here too which was by no means all that spicy but okay nonetheless. Give this place a shot if you are in or around Kamanahalli.
Service and good taste is okay okay. Will not say its the best but worth a try.
The restaurant is Conjusted, very small place to sit.
Tried their spicy chicken roll and it was very tasty. The famous Turkish roll is the main thing to try
The place is descent and the food is nice with good quantity and the most important fact what I like in here is that when we are ordering something and we do not like any ingredient they are adding we can ask him to switch to other items like for example (falafal I said no and added boiled egg for my roll).
On the off chance that you are an understudy searching for a generous dinner, this is the spot for you. It sure is a little joint yet the shawarma here is great. Their unique mayo is an unquestionable requirement have and is spread into the move in liberal sums. We emphatically suggest that you request additional mayo!

The shawarma and rolls are delicious with fresh veggies and fries.
Their chicken samosas are too small but freshly made and interesting.
Evenings are packed and one will always struggle to find a space to dine in.
Small joint and serves great rolls.
I really liked their food ... It was tasty af but then there are people crowd and they have less tables and small lobby very small... People stand out in streets to take food from them... Parking is really headache...
But they're normal falafal is so huge and rolls and shawarma are better here...
Their service in that small place is really impressive... They give bill with token number and they deal with everybody in care...
Conclusion - I would recommend this place for real foodies and value for money. Two people can have decent tasty food from between ₹200 to ₹300
