Chicken fried rice was really delicious. Not oily and good amount of chicken pieces. Totally worth the price. Can improve the packing though.

Food zone is one of the places where you can chill out with a few friends and pocket friendly. The food is pretty good, the service is good too. Even though the restaurant is quiet small it is decent. I highly recommend you guys to check this place out

One of the best pocket-friendly eateries in Basaveshwaranagar. Best for a take-away order. My favourites are the different types of fried rice and the biriyani. The side dishes are a little spicy for my palate (PS: I'm a spice eater).. Have eaten in this place for 4+ years and haven't been disappointed till now.. :)
As every one has reviewed, its a budget hotel. Whenever you feel lazy to cook at home and doesn't want to spend much, you should definitely try here. The taste may not be extraordinary, but good homely taste. I ordered around 3 chicken items, veg starter, main course for 3 people.. And the bill was 640rs, which I have to say very reasonable. Its good to get it parceled, since the place is very small. Overall good experience.
Set amidst the hustle and bustle of Basweshwarnagar, is this place which offers a great lot of amazing food. You might be alarmed by the size of the place but get it and order thier Chicken Lollypops, Deep Fried Kebabs and their Fried Rice was my favourite at this place. A good place to have food if you don't care about whether the restaurant ambiance is chick or not. This is a small place which is easy to miss if you don't look closely. There is a home appliances showroom near Pavitra paradise. This hotel is right next to that inside a pocket road. So far I have just ordered take away ( never eaten in the restaurant). So I am not going to comment on the service. Food they prepare is much better than some of the high end restaurants around Basaveshwara Nagar. All the items I had so far has been great. I especially liked the Chicken Biriyani and Tandoori Chicken.The prices are also low. Great value for money. I have no idea about their vegetarian foods.

If you want to have best biriyani near Rajajinagar/Basaveshwara nagar you can blindly choose this place. They make the fresh chicken biryani here. the cost is just 82/- and taste is awesome while comparing with the other champions such as Nandini/Madhura/swathi etc around rajajinagar.
You will also get rotis and curries which is also good. This hotel will be most of the time crowded with bachelors around basaveshwara nagar. Very less space to sit. You may have to wait if you are going as a group(2+ members).

Starters, Vegetable curries and dessert is good. Only tandoori and makki rotti were served. Broccoli biriyani was average. Roti and rice items can be improved. Located in a central place near Mahalakshmi metro station. Good for family outings.

This is one of the unique restaurant I have found in Bangalore.
It's pure veg as well as NO GARLIC AND ONION food which is really good for the pure satvik people.

We had an amazing buffet here. Every single one of the dishes were tasty except a rare few that did not do well for me; the fried chillies and boondi raita. The drink was excellent and Pudina paneer malai was mind blowing. The desserts were way too many. If Lauki halwa is on the menu, don't forget to give it a try; the warm halwa melts right in the mouth. We tried to eat all of the dishes, but it was a little difficult. Excellent experience, highly recommended if you like this kind of food or if you like to experiment.

The Higher Taste restaurant is located in the premises of Iskon temple and it's a pure vegetarian restaurant.....It is a Prime restaurant with exclusive ambience and is also very expensive.... But felt buffet cost was moderate.... Since it's a prime hotel the level of food taste and presentation is very impressive..... Wait time for food to be served is almost 20mins.... Didn't find huge crowd and was very peaceful....
The food is great without onion and garlic as the restaurant located inside the temple premises. The ambience is okay and you can also hear hari naam and krishna music during your visit.
An amazing Saattvic restaurant by ISKCON, Bangalore. High end fine dine restaurant. Their buffet is super awesome. Completely vegetarian and Saattvic food - no onion, no garlic. Amazing desserts - excellent pastries and cakes that are eggless along with several Indian sweets and Ice cream.
Great place to have lunch with family before or after visiting ISKCON for Darshan. Sufficient car parking & bike parking space is there.
