Great cozy little spot. Kinda sad that they’re kinda empty. But great service always by Nagesh and consistent food keeps us coming back every week.
Go Oishi!
There is beauty in simplicity and this place personifies it. A very simple menu, 6 dishes. But, 6 really good dishes.
Ramen, not something that’s easily available. Had two bowls, the miso chicken and the luksa chicken. Distinct flavours.
A little on the expensive side, but like I alluded to before, ramen is not something you easily find here. Especially, good ramen.
The ramen is on point. Try the spinach sesame too. Excellent stuff. Ambience is sublime. Cinnamon tea is to die for..... Great location. Must try!
Decent place. Ambient rooftop. The food is very good despite a limited menu. The problem is that there's no signboard. It's called sunny side bistro. It was confusing just to find the place. The staff was polite but had trouble answering questions about the food. They didn't accept cards for some reason. While the food there is good, they need to work on service and marketing(seriously, put up a signboard)
Ambience wise I found the place pretty good, roof top, lots of plants and all.
The non veg ramen was really delicious, the quantity was enough to fill my stomach. The broth was really flavoursome. (I had the non veg spicy chashu ramen)
The veg ramen was just okay.
But, I guess the price could be lowered a bit.
Overall, I found the place pretty good. :)
Did not know what to expect being a vegetarian, I took my non-vegetarian friend with me. Earlier had ordered it through Dunzo, we wanted to get a feel of the place given the delivered food was so good. Loved every bit of it. My friend in fact liked it so much he ordered another one just as soon as he finished his first ramen.
The vegetarian broth is very tasty. Only complain is that the building apart from Oishii is not well kept. In Indiranagar you can get lost for choices. But I am going to hence keep it simple and go to this place going forward.
This is the first time I've tried something that claims to be authentic ramen (instant doesn't count, alas).
I thoroughly enjoyed my bowl of vegetarian miso ramen! I can't speak to its authencity, but the broth was delicious, and the noodles were flavorful (!!) Even the egg was great, and I usually hate eggs.
Service is on the slow side (not sure if this is because ramen prep naturally takes a long time or what), but the wait staff was warm and helpful.
Went there last evening for what turned out to be a lovely meal. I ordered the cinnamon ginger tea and the laksa bowl.
That tea is AMAZING. It's cheap and delicious, and it's perfect for your throat. You won't know how much you needed it until you try it.
The laksa bowl was full of flavour, with just the right quality of ingredients. It's a pretty big bowl, so if you have a small appetite, be prepared to finish your meal and sit there for another hour, because you will not be able to move.
Go here and tell people about it! It's delightful 😁
Went to Oishii for ramen and was not disappointed. The gyoza were nice and fresh although I wish the quantity was more for the price paid. The Ramen broth was really delicious and definitely worth a try.
I hope they put more Ramen variety to their menu soon.
Love the ambience. The food was alright. There could have been more ramen options though. More items on the menu as well. We tried the chashu ramen which was not too shabby. The gyoza chicken was good just because of the sauce it was accompanied with.
The Bangalore Food Harem
+3.5
There are few things better than slurping noodles from a great bowl of ramen in this weather. Get your fix at Oishii Ramen in Indiranagar, with their Miso Chashu Ramen and soak in everything that these Bangalore rains have to offer. The ramen has an undertone of miso and is flavoured with an aromatic chicken broth (not pork). We also tried the laksa ramen (an Oishii spin-off) which was rather disappointing. The dish felt incomplete because we were waiting on that lemongrass to be followed by the taste of coconut milk. . . ..and lets just say we're still waiting. We also got a side of the gyoza dumplings (served with the perfect soy dip) and the sesame spinach, that went down easily with the warm strong cinnamon-infused tea.
.
P.S. 1. All dishes are either vegetarian or chicken here.
2. Ramen bowls cannot be stereotyped and toppings can vary from one restaurant to the other and even one ramen bowl to the other.
3. Oishii is located on the rooftop of the Wills lifestyle building On 100 ft road (a signboard for 'Sunny Bistro' should be your cue).
I love my ramen. Oishii reminded me just why! There might be no link between the ambience and Japanese cuisine being served at Oishii (SunnySide Bistro was the name floating around) but the vibe of the place was quite serene and conversation provoking (thanks to the right kind of music at the right volume). The broth was spot on, and so were the noodles. The egg yoke was completely solid, which is supposed to be semi-running but एक खून तो माफ होता ही है | Gyoza anyways made up for it wonderfully!
I am looking forward to quench my ramen cravings here more often here!
Visited this place in the opening week. The roof top location completely complements the rainy season in Bangalore. The food is really good. We had the laska ramen and the chashu ramen along with gyoza chicken. The food was really good. Really enjoyed the presentation n simplicity of the food.
Negatives:
The menu is small. And while most of items are good, it begs the question for regular visit.
The chicken quantity was also less.
Went with Karthik Ramesh on their soft opening night. Was welcomed warmly by the owner who took time to explain the menu to us with the nitty gritty of the ingredients and flavours. There isn't a lot to pick from at this stage, but we really enjoyed the ramen we had ordered. Would probably wait to go back till they've added a little more to the menu. Could drop in if I'm in the neighborhood, though. They have too much competition in the area for Oishi Ramen to stand out at this stage.
A simple menu with a clear purpose to serve ramen that is delicious and as authentic as possible without burning a hole in your pocket. The serving size is enough for a person, and the food is lovely for a cool evening visit. Don't expect unnecessary variety here, with only six types of Ramen, but enjoy the amazing taste and flavor!
Additional note (6/18) : The signs aren't up yet, the place is new, so to get here, go to the fourth floor of building #664, the one with Wills Lifestyle, and head out into the rooftop, adorned with a potted plant wall!

Quite place and good food, loved the ambience as it is veryyy light and natural and the peaceful atmosphere goes well with the food
First up.. the place is located in the building that has will lifestyle store. No signage outside with the name of the restaurant.. there is a small paper stuck near the lift.. the restaurant is an open area and relatively spacious.
Coming to the food..limited options. Service was efficient and food was served almost immediately we had the spicy & the laksa..both different and good portions.. thought the broth could have been hotter considering that it was a nice cold Bangalore monsoon day.
Worth a try!
Veg ramen was actually quiet good! But you need to have a liking for ramen food. One bowl was enough for 2 people though.
Food is amazing,
Excellent service,
Good pricing,
Good ambience.
Definitely coming back!
Authentic Japanese Ramen.
There's no sign board outside, but you can search for Sunny's bistro. It's the same place.
Ramen at an awesome price. Loved it. ほんとに美味しラメンです。
Best ramen you could get in India or atleast Bangalore..
The location is awesome. And for Naruto fans..ramen is pure delight.;-)
A very quiet and nice open place for long leisurely lunch.
It was long time ago when I went there, what I can there is menu was decent.
Lovely food, amazing ambiance and friendly team..
The ambience is good and the food too.
