The restaurant could do with some sprucing up since it looks old. But the chef seems to have a hang of things. The normal stuff of Indian fare- Moong dal, chicken, biryani was just awesome. A hungry kid and some good food and your done for the day. The chinese preparation of chilly chicken, hot and sour soup etc was good too. Its a simple place and if you are staying in the hotel it is housed in- its awesome :)
Always mine & husband's favourite place to relax by experimenting our North Indian taste buds 😋 dal panchamel , Hyderabad dum aloo n Biryani all time favourite!!!!
Urban Spice... one ☝🏻 of the reasonable buffet restaurant. Average ambiance but all staffs soooooo cool and polite. Good quantity and quality.
We Went in quite late and it was a family dinner,The staff and the manager were still well receptive and made sure we got what we wanted to order.
The ambience of the place is nothing special but its peaceful.
The food was a tasty and exactly as per specifications.
I eat here almost ever weekend and just love their preparations be it Chinese or the stuffed kababs. The manchiw soup is awesome. They take too long to serve.. But for me the wait has usually been worth. Its very reasonably priced compared to other restaurants of the same category. However my experience is limited to non veg dish only.
Had been there recently and food was decent. We had Chicken sweet corn soup, paneer tikka, chichen nawabi and roti basket. Nothing special about Nawabi chicken and roti basket. Soup was okay but paneer tikka was really yummy. Ambience was good. Im giving rating of 3.5 and recommend to go there and eat there atleast once.

I happened to dine at Urban Spice during the time of stay at Shilton Royale. The amount of footfall of external customer to this place is lesser than the internal guest count. They have a banquet option which manages to get them the required
footfall.
Coming back to Urban Spice, the buffet spread on offer was quite decent. The regular South Indian fare, egg, hot beverages, cornflakes, juices etc. The ambiance was good and the staff courteous. If you are staying at this place, the food at the
Urban Spice will not disappoint.
My final ratings:
Food: 3.5/5
Price: 3.5/5
Service: 3.5/5
Ambience: 3/5

Nice one..quite underrated..very courteous service I have tried both Chinese n Indian here and both were quite satisfactory specially the Chinese food.only complaint I had called beforehand and enquired about buffet lunch and they said it would be open till 3.30 yet wen I reached dere at 2.30 the waiter said that buffet was not available. A bit of disappointment on that part..but u won't regret trying this place:-) :-)
Being a business hotel , Mostly the people step in to their restaurant are the inmates or delegates attending the functions over there. Like that had a chance to try their executive buffet for consecutive 2 week ends , sat & sunday.
So having it for 4 days , what should be the verdict . yes not bad, its good.
Their buffet spread is limited keeping an eye on the type of visitors. Slim but a decent spread. Not much of variety they could offer , but what ever they had was good.
Out of 4 days of soup I had , the peanut one was a very rare one & tasted good. Had only the veg option here.
Starters , 1 chicken & 2-3 veg was good enough so as the salads.
Main course was dal , paneer , gobi , veg curma , egg curry & 1 chicken dish was good enough supplemented with bread basket.
Desset section they had ice cream / puddings / custered , not bad.
Service is good , no outside crowd at all but.
Overall , good one...............
Have visited this place a couple of times...buffet is good-not very elaborate but has a reasonably good spread n is value for money .A La carte also wasn't disappointing - flavourful subzis , fluffy rotis -and their fish tikka n curry too are worth trying.good service n ambience .should try it if u haven't!
