The piping hot chole bathure served on Sunday mornings only are mouth watering and tasty. They have a couple of stools to sit and eat but most of the people get is packed. Unfortunately no delivery.
Shanthi Sweets and Chats. This is the best chat outlet on New Thippasandra Road but almost at the end of this one way street. It’s actually an old shop with snacks and sweets. The place looks old but the snacks look good. Did not try the snacks though. I tried the Samosa Masala (not in pic - was too self conscious to take a picture) which was yummy and the Pakodi Bhel Puri was different and nice. The quantity is good hence I could not finish the Pakodi Bhel Puri which was too much for me. The chat maker is courteous - he packed the rest of it for me but I could not eat it later as the Samosa Masala was sitting tight in my tummy. Wasted a good part of the Bhel. This is what happens when you are always greedy.
Amazing place. I really wished I could work here so I'd get free food. The chole batura is really tasty and also the horlicks burfi. Fantastic food. Friendly staff. Must try for all foodies.
It's a decent choice for chat lovers in the area and is situated right at the main road so people can simply grab a bite on the way. I've tried samosa chat and a few other chats here and all in all, the rates are good and the food is decent.
Nothing too fancy about it although a good place for evening bites.

Shanthi sweets is one of the oldest eateries in Thipppasandra serving not just sweets but some good chaat and hot Jelibees too. Located on the main road, this place gained its fame after the introduction of chole bature which they make on sunday mornings. Its a super hit this one as you will see waiting in huge queues to buy this and he sells everything in 2 hrs. A must try this here.
Another personal favourite for me is the samosa masala chaat and the besan Ladoo. If you are around thippasandra give this place a shot and you will like it.
Overall - 3.5/5
