I have been here a couple of times for late night eats , Open till 11, which is highly unlikely in Bangalore. And they have been very good (Chicken double tikka rolls).
We placed our order and learnt that they don't accept cards and thus reduced the items from the list.
However,They still went on to serve it to us for free of cost and evethough we insisted they said its their policy.
Their generosity pulled as back again and ever since we have been loyals.
One can also place their orders through Swiggy.
This place never disappoints: Generous amout of chicken .The prices are reasonable and a great value.
It is a tiny space but the seating arrangements are airy,best to be visit for late night binging.
One suggestion : Please keep card machines handy.
Pretty delicious Mughlai cuisines. One of the good food with reasonable priced menu places in Bellandur. The delivery is a little unpredictable, though food tastes fresh and delicious always.
Quick delivery , yummy food and friendly staff, there's not much to change about this place.Absolutely love the rolls and the new curry combos on the menu .
Good for home delivery...haven't seen this restaurant but have ordered thrice from my home...food quality is good and quantity is generous only the delivery time is more than a hour.
This place offers excellent tandoori chicken and other tandoori dishes. They are consistently able to maintain that original taste, always satisfying the taste buds. Great food indeed.
This being close to my home, i have ordered from here twice. One thing I really like about them is their quick delivery . They have Lucknow as well as Andhra style biriyani but I have only tried their Andhra style yet. It is quite good and have good quantity of rice and right amount of spices . But one thing I'm really dissapointed is with the quantity of the chicken pieces they provide. I ordered for a regular Chicken Biriyani and they told me it would come with 4 chicken pieces out of which only two had flesh which were also small ones and the rest two were like waste pieces with no flesh on them. Otherwise I like their biriyani flavour and a good place when u want to go pocket friendly as their mini biriyani which serves one person is only Rs 100. If they improve on the quantity and quality of chicken pieces I think they will get more customers.
Great food and service.. Special mention for tandoor items like thigh kabab and kalmi... New dish garelu chicken reminds home made chicken... Highly recommended..
I visited Biryani box last week. It is very near to my office so I thought of giving it a try for my Friday night Biriyani craving. I must say this place is quite spacious and staffs are very prompt. I had a Paneer roll and Veg Biryani. I so loved the roll as it was perfectly done and Paneer was very tender which is quite difficult to find in general.
About the Biryani, I ordered the veg biryani and as I like Lucknow/Kolkata style biryani, I was very happy to get the proper flavor in the Biryani. Most of the places in Bangalore serve veg pulao in the name of Veg Biryani which is absolutely not in the case of Biryani Box. I over stuffed myself with the food but was quite happy with the quality of the food and service.
Looking forward to visit again.
I have ordered from them more than a dozen times now. Delivery is really quick. Food tastes great, especially the biryani - lucknowi style and BB special. Price vs Serving size is also quite adequate.
If u like ur Biryani less spicy than what u generally get here, Biryani box wud suit ur taste buds..has nice taste and flavour..also reasonably priced..it wud b good if they strt accepting cards for payment..

This is decent place to have biryani. The taste is really good. The quantity is really good. Eating there is not ideal as its in the open in a congested area. Delivery is punctual so that is the better option. The real killer is the price. 70 bucks for a biryani is just unheard of in today's day and time. Worth a try for those living in Bellandur.
Good place for Biryani and Rolls take aways. The Kebabs are fine too. I am only surprised at the way their excellent outdoor location is not utilized optimally. It could have been developed in a much better way.
The rolls here are the highlight of this place.
Bought a chicken roll and it had lots of chicken rather than the rolls you get at other places with less chicken and lots of veggies.
I have had Andhra style biryanis at many places in Bangalore in the last 3 years, however, the biryanis served at Biryani Box seem really authentic in terms of the quality of chicken and rice used. I have tried Chicken Dum and Tikka biryanis as of now and they are awesome. The level of spices seems to be just appropriate, neither too much nor too little, and the chicken pieces are very soft and yummy. Will soon try the rest of the items, mainly Lucknowi biryani. The delivery time is less than 30 minutes. Keep up the good work.

Been there quite a few times.
Absolutely loved the biryani. It is value for money and the quantity is appropriately mentioned.
I also liked the chicken kebabs. The quality seems to be little less though it really tastes good.
They could probably add more veg items. I went with a vegeterian friend and she did not have much options.
Always gone for a takeaway or delivery for which they are quite prompt.

A biryani place that serves great rolls and average biryani. funny. These guys should change their name to Roll Box. More suitable. The biryani is quite below average honestly but all the rating is for their superb rolls.
I love rolls of Biryani Box, taste is very good and if value for money.
I use to order rolls every evening. And it is absolutely tummy filler.
I have compared other role companies like Fassos but there is no comparison in taste and price...

Sitting place is like a temporary restaurant. Rolls and snacks are good. Rice used in biryanis are good but the gravy provided with it doesnt match up the standards.
Have ordered from here many times and haven't been disappointed. Has setup a sitting area recently but I've always asked for delivery or done a takeaway. The chicken biryani is good but the starters and tikka kebabs are really very good :) Since I'm staying in the same area it's a very good place to order from.
Very good biriyani and kababs. Not a great place to sit and eat, as the outdoor setup lacks proper arrangement. Order it in store, or over phone and they can deliver to all Sobha and other places nearby in a very well state packaging. Once you order food in store, it takes a long wait time for the food to come.
I would recommend the owner to change the sitting arrangement in store(like having proper tables and lounges, get a tv to broadcast live IPL matches/football- keeping in mind the bachelors living in the nearby areas in lots of PGs) and also bring the store online through food panda. That will ensure good food to reach more people.

It was mundane Thursday evening and we were looking for Rendezvous with Biryani.
Thanks to my friend who stay nearby , who suggested us Biryani Box, situated at Green Glen Layout , ORR , Bellandur .
From the menu, we ordered some delicious Chicken Biryani and Kebabs , all neatly packed in nice boxes and delivered on time.
The Kebabs were juicy , well cooked and succulent. After a long time we had some good Tandoori style Chicken in Bangalore.
The Biryani Chicken was well cooked and has the Lucknowi essence.
Well next time , I am going to visit this place and enjoy some delicious Rolls too.
Hope they keep on the quality always !!

We have ordered and had food here multiple times , mostly as take away. They do have a seating area but its not a great place to sit and have food.
Their chicken rolls have been hit or miss, at times completely amazing and at times too oily and unappetizing. But since thats the nearest place that sells rolls, we do visit them often for it hoping that that day will be good. The chicken biriyani though has been more or less consistent. Apart from that their red kababs are also decent(sometimes more on the oily side) . I really liked their hariyali kabab. Their kalmi kabab again is quite decent. Havent ordered for home delivery yet, so don't know their delivery times but when ordering for take away and waiting for the food, they can be painfully slow at times.
For a neighbourhood with so many restaurants one thing whih was lacking was a decent biryani place. These guys seem to have found that gap and are definitely doing a good job of filling it. Good Biryani at a decent value for money price. Much better than most of the other Biryani outlets and chains that are around
Biryani Box is one of the best restaurants I have visited. A place for tasty rolls. Good for quick bites. The food is amazing especially paneer roll, mix veg roll and in starters panner tikka (yummy).
Its a small joint with good food and decent seating arrangements.
They are very good in Home delivering. When you have that "I'm a lazybone and I cannot go out and have a meal" mood, this place would be a better choice. These guys will keep you wrapped up for a day. The wraps are delicious and filling.

my friend suggested to have chicken roll, it is one of the best roll i ever had.
the thandoori chicken is also very good.
Biriyani is perfect not that spice like hyderbadi biriyani.
my suggestion is to not miss the chicken roll over there.

This is a biryani place as the name suggest in the heart of bellandur. And infact, the founders seem to be lucky to find a name with ‘Briyani’ and ‘Box’ after that, coz people seem to have run out of idea in terms of names of the Biryani Places. There are whole bunch of them offlate :)
In terms of location, if you are coming from Sarjapur Rd - Out Ring Rd junction, you need to take left at the Bakasur restaurant road. And then go along for 1/2 km and the restaurant is there to the left. This is surely not those fancy restaurant place around the Bellandur area. But I people seem to have liked the quality of the food that is served over here.
Their main sale comes from the sale of biryani. But, I guess they do have other items as well that are available as options that can be ordered apart from the biryani. Its the veg rolls that they have which is an alternative to folks who don’t want rice. And the rolls are pretty good and they have quite a few varieties.
Various flavours of rolls include - Aloo Masala, Paneer, Healthy Corn and Mixed Vegetarian.
Well, surprisingly one of the days when I was looking to eat some biryani, they had run out of biryani. And then I had to resort to take rolls. Initially I thought that it might be wise to take 1 but then decided to try 2 different flavours. And on the hind-side I think it was a bit too much food to coz the rolls are really thick with decent stuffing.
I went for 2 rolls - Paneer roll & Mix Veg Roll. Both the rolls had decent amount of sauces inside it along with onion. The wrap was done pretty neatly and I actually I did not find any of the edges to be bad. It seemed to be most ideal for a dinner.
The only problem is the location where it is situated. It might seem like they the owners did not want to invest in the ambiance, decor. May be if they do so there might be many more would visit the place. Coz I feel that quality wise they are pretty good.
My rating for this place would be a 3.5. I can’t comment much on other aspects. But, would love to share my opinion the next few times I go there.
If you're in a hurry n alone...you can have it. The prices are reasonable and the taste is OK.
Mini combo: I had mini-combo non-veg. Quantity was good. Biriyani tasted good... But I literally didn't eat chicken tikka..it was a too sour.
Chicken tandoori: its much much better than chicken tikka. Its too juicy however it lacked some spiciness which I was expecting. Its worth a try.
Double egg roll: its not worth for that much price, less veggies and only mayonnaise sauce brings life to the rolls. Its a good idea to go for chicken rolls.

19th Apr 2015 - Ordered a family pack of biryani for home delivery. The Biryani rice was brilliant as usual. The Chicken was good too. The delivery was pretty quick. This is gonna be my de facto biryani place for home delivery now!
Review 2 - This review is for a home delivery. Amazed by the last time, I ordered for biryani and opted for a mini Biryani and an extra piece of chicken. The customisation really rules. This time however the Biryani was just good not freakish awesome like the last time. I'm guessing that is because the last time was not during the peak hours. It was still pretty good. Interesting thing is that they have no minimum order for home delivery!
Review 1 - This review is for a takeaway. We ordered a mini combo and a regular chicken biryani. The biryani was amazingly delicious. Pretty much the best biryani I have had till now. If you look at their menu, you can customise your biryani with extra pieces of chicken. I love that because I like more meat in my biryani than rice :) .However something interesting to note, was that the rice was actually very tasty. They have a lot of open space around the tiny outlet. I hope they have a good seating area soon to complete the experience. I'm getting my fill of awesome biryani from here soon, very soon.
Taste is unbelievably delicious. Why unbelievable is because I am a vegetarian and came back full and satisfied.
A nice little place to sit and eat if one is not too fussy about ambiance.
Or one can just order. The taste is really good and has been consistent since this opened.
Service is fast. Place is neat and clean. Price is very very reasonable.
All in all, never have been disappointed eating here.

Being a vegetarian , I usually had to resist my temptation of having really good veg biryani.. But not anymore after I recently tasted BB's yummy veg biryani.. Served with raitha and gravy. Simply awesome! Would also like to mention about their superb choice of rolls. This place has become my favorite eat-out!
I recently moved to Belandur and I was more than pleased to find this little take away place- Biryani Box.
The Biryanis are yumm and you won't regret it.
They have a lot of combo options which are so reasonably priced, hard to ignore :)
Can't say much about the ambiance as this is primarily a take away and delivery place. However, if you wish to eat there, they have some tables and chairs arranged out in the open.
Service is quick enough. Its very convenient; you can either call them and get it delivered or just go there if you're not living too far and get a take away pack.
All in all: quick and good food.
This place is mainly for take outs, though huge space in the back side with some basic plastic furniture are arranged.Food prices are decent for the taste and it's fresh. The packaging are of high quality.I like their chicken roll, which I mostly buy; strangely somehow it is served cold even though the cook prepares it immediately. Whether I eat there or get it home which is 50 mtrs away, it is always cold. I guess the base roti is made prior to save time or something; although the chicken filling and mayo tastes very good.The taste would have been even superb, if it was piping hot like a roll should be.Their red kebabs are good.

Another good eat out place in Bellandur with comparatively higher prices as compared to similar cadre eat outs like swagatham, bhagini, punjabi tadka to name a few. I ordered for Tandoori chicken which was around 100rs for 1 piece which i found expensive but the taste was exceptional. I mean i havent ever eaten the entire leg piece from thigh till foot but this was something worth trying and the way it was marinated was amazing. Now coming to the chicken tikka which went cold by the time i was done with my tandoori chicken but still they were soft and tasted very well.
Coming to the veg department i would like to say the paneer tikka was not at all up to the mark. The paneer was tight which didnt went well with the booze but the aloo tikka was good. The veg biryani was well made and the quantity was more than enough for 1 person which pretty much suffices the price i paid. The additional items provided with the biryani added to the flavor of the biryani and went pretty well with the drinks.
My opinion is if you are looking to have non veg then this is surely the place to check out but i wont recommend it for veg items specially the paneer delicacies as there are better choices out there. Best is to get a parcel of the items and have it at your place as i wont recommend having at the place because of the open ambiance and the gust of dust filled winds in the area due to frequent pass of vehicles ,as it is on the road.
Not many can differentiate between the Hyderabadi and Awadhi styles of biryanis...BB is the place to be in if you want Awadhi Biryani...Just perfect.!!!..Spices,pieces of chicken..everything just so very nicely gelled up for a PERFECT BIRYANI..Kababs are good too,but this place is for its biryani..As the name says BIRYANI BOX.. :)

At the outset, please note that this review is only based only on what Biryani Box offers. Writing descriptively about the ambiance for a place that is a takeaway will be irrelevant.
I had requested the owners to have their presence on web, and now, it is good to see that finally they are on zomato.
On to food: Biryani? Superb! This is probably the best you can get in Bellandur. The rice is top-quality; the servings of gravy and raita are excellent.
The amount of biryani is enough and comes in various amounts, which provides more flexibility for the customers.
The delivery system is decent enough. Weekends are usually slow, about 30-40 mins, but weekdays are quick. Biryani reaches your door in 15-20 mins.
If you go pick up the biryani yourself, that's even quicker. You may not have to spend more than 5 minutes.
The personnel at biryani box are cooperative and friendly.
On a little downside, the biryani prices shot up by Rs 20, because of which Biryani Box may have lost its "Awesome Biryani at cheapest prices" image, to some extent. Also, the kebabs at biryani box aren't good enough. Go for them if you must have deep fried oily kebabs. Otherwise, stick to biryani.
Overall, good enough.
If you are looking for an authentic biryani with perfect aroma...biryani box is the place.. Delicious biryani and honestly the best biryani I had in bangalore, recently they started serving rolls..and I have just one word for it...yummmmmmmyyyyyyy

Looking for value for your money as well as that perfect sumptuous taste? Your quest ends at BB (Biriyani Box). Biriyani is served well here, meaning that not only in preparation but also in presentation this place seems to be putting in quite a lot of effort which seems to be paying off as well. A secure feeling came to my mind after being to BB that I'd never have to worry about another Biryani craving again. Takeaways and orders for home-deliveries also happen fast. Quantity is sufficient enough and the taste does no justice for the pricing. This place is just for biryani and only biryani!!
Bangalore is slowly been gaining a reputation as a bastion for biryani lovers. There are many restaurants
in the city that have sprouted like mushrooms, bragging about their authentic taste but found very few appealing. Nestled amid the city, near Belandur, Biryani Box has catered well to my tastebuds.
Its got fine grains of rice, well cooked chicken and the best part...its got a flavour and
an aroma that will cadence inside you for quite a while. The cost is also reasonable and don't forget to try the tikkas and kababs.
I would recommend all my friends and bengaluru folks to try it once....the taste will speak for itself.
Well, I have been hogging onto Meghana for quite sometime now. So, i wanted to try something new. Happened to come across this little place in Green Glen Layout (behind the Indian Oil Petrol Bunk) and decided to take away a mini pack, but man! I shouldn't have done that! The taste is way better than all of the biryanis I have tried in Bangalore. And coming from the land of traditional biryani (Lucknow) i was enthralled! The biryani is to die for and so are the kababs! A regular customer now, and pitching in high hopes for their new menu coming up (as told).
Best part: Delivery is quick and food is fresh!
