"Cake my heart" could take my breath away!
Today, my friend surprised me with these amazingly designed and exquisitely executed cupcakes, for my 25th birthday. I was absolutely overwhelmed by her gesture and when I saw these divine creations, I didn't have the heart to gnaw them off. They were so very pretty and customised especially for my birthday. Finally, after much coaxing, a bite into one cupcake, I could taste the ever so delightful flavour of dark chocolate blending perfectly with the sweetness of the marshmallow fondant. The cupcake was light and fluffy and the cake's texture was beautiful, although it seems petite but, even as you are absorbed in its lightness, the size of a cupcake is perfect for one. The wonderful use of marshmallow fondant ensures the un-necessity of refrigeration for the life of the product, saving its freshness for the time within which you consume the entire batch. The little decorations, unique to each individual cake were made with the fondant and in presentation were a complete beauty.
I have not visited Ms. Sandhya's establishment and until this afternoon was oblivious to its existence, but now, I must try all the items on her menu because, she is a fantastic artist and craftsman using baking as her medium of expression. There is immense sincerity in every aspect of the creation, not just in the taste of the cake but also in the simplicity of the package and the identity design reflected in the small card that accompanied the parcel. I indisputably recommend this place to all.
Though it might seem a little small, the cute interiors add a good vibe to the place.
Dropped by in the afternoon for a quick peek. Was disappointed in seeing that there weren't a lot of varieties on display as I expected.
Picked up a chocolate cupcake and a red velvet truffle cake (not sure about the name.
And this is all I have to say - THE BEST CHOCOLATE CUPCAKE I'VE EATEN! :D
It was super moist and so chocolaty - just melts in your mouth!
The red velvet cake was yummy too but I didn't like the aftertaste of the white chocolate ( I think) that was on top.
The prices seemed are a bit on the higher side.
But I'm definitely going to come back for those killer cupcakes! :D

Right from the moment i opened the door n stepped in, the warmth of the store and the owner engulfed me. The store is Sandhya's dream and the love she puts into each of those cakes n macaroons is evident from the taste.
I would definitely come next time to taste their hot chocolate, which i missed last time.

Cake My heart is located in food-heart of Namma Bangalore, Indiranagar. From Thippasandra Ganesha Temple Bus Stop, this dessert cafe is just a minute walk. Located in very residential area of Indiranagar, this cafe is a blessings for all those people who always ask 'Have you got eggless cakes??'. As much as she does a whole lot of cakes (with egg), she prefers keeping more of eggless cakes in the cafe as most of the customers ask for it.
The owner of this cafe, Home Baker - Sandhya Parthasarthy, recently quit her IT-job to turn her dream/passion into reality. This cafe is around 1 month old. From simple dark chocolate cupcakes to what she calls her variation of "Melting Moments", everything is fast-selling.The cafe promises Fresh cakes & desserts every day. Even though, it is a new cafe around the area, it is slowly catching up to fast pacing city life. Apart from taking regular birthday/anniversary/festival/ orders frequently, she is found at the cafe from 3pm till 9pm.
A cupcake costs 40/-
and a heavy indulging All-Dark-Chocolate cake costs around 70/-
Variety is what you can expect at this cafe & some regulars like Melting Moments which she declares that you will get whenever you drop by. *NOTE : Provided it doesn't sell out too soon for the day*. Seating is available for those who would like to sit and enjoy a bite or two.
She says the menu is under construction as she keeps experimenting and trying new desserts now and then. Cakes, Cupcakes, Macaroons, breads, meringues and whole lot more is usually stocked up in cafe.
The first thing that caught my attention at this store was the warm welcome I got by the owner. The store had many varieties of pastries and cupcakes and I couldnt decide what to taste..and finally i settled with "Melting Moments". They just melted away in my mouth and into my heart. I fell in love with the store and all its pastries. Do not miss out on "Nirvana" , an eggless pastry which according to me is the best pastry I've ever had till date.
Finally I reached here.... As I got there I was given a warm welcome by the owner..... So I see what is there and I wanted to have everything.. I tried the melting moments- it's exactly what the name says. The macaroons were splendid. The chocolate cake (eggless) gave a kick of its own. The merengue was also amazing...
In all the experience was totally yummy-licious!!!
