This is a good place to eat you basic food.
Nothing fancy, no bells and whistles.
The ambience would be like a very clean dhaba.
The staff is very friendly.
They make a few items, but, they make them very well.
Their prices are economical.
They have meals starting from 50 and going up to 120.
Sometimes, they also have all you can eat buffets as well.
You may also order a-la-carte items if you so desire.
Parathas are also present in the a-la-carte menu at a decent price.
Have ordered from this place couple of times, mostly when I was sick. As the name suggests, they provide homely food. Phulka, dal, rice, sabzi etc. - everything was simple and always tasted fresh.
Here food was amazing. Quality is more compare to other currees are very special and spicy to eat 🍱

I visited this place for a dinner and was amazed with the quality of the food for the prices given. Staff was good and buffet was really awesome as they have proper Ghar ka khana. I would recommend this place for all the normal non fancy and healthy dinners.
Good homely food. If we don't make food at home . We have it here . It is simple and food here will not give you any issues with your health . And it's cheap . A thali cost you Rs.70/- only . What more can you ask. Only drawback is it's only veg .
The name says it all, this place is run by group of North Indian people who serve good tasty and also hygienic food to those hungry techies in the BTM. This place can be termed as a mess more than a restaurant as they have monthly and weekly food plan that can to be delivered to your PG or room. Coming to the location, it's located 1 km deep inside from the BTM udupi garden signal (Use Google Maps). I ordered fulka and soya mattar because of unavailability of palak mattar. The quantity was decent enough for 3-4 fulka and the taste was mild. I felt it is blessing in disguise for those guys who are missing their den. Tasty food at affordable rates in BTM is the surprising factor for the day.
Simple lunch pack food...taste is not that great but ok to have it sometimes if you are tired of restaurants.
Price is same as normal lunch packs..their packing is definitely good and food delivered is warm.
If you want typical north Indian food in low price with delicious taste..then you must try this restaurant.

Didn't get sweet tat we ordered Food z good like home but we did not get any sweet in full meal we ordered, apart from tat all good, delivery was on time as well
Great food and reasonable rates, what else do you need to rate 4. However they should start non-vegeterian thalis as well. Have never been to the restaurant, always placed order on call and they delivered in 20-25 mins (yes! much faster than domino's) hot n fresh food. A hungry stomach can rely on them for a good meal tastes as good as your home (better alternative than pizza or burger)..
Amazing home made food in BTM, in a decent price with good portions. Phulka was really light properly cooked and served with desi ghee. Perfect solution for daily hunger.
Have ordered around 5 to 6 times from here! As the name suggests you get nice home cooked food. 10/10 on taste, delivery & customer service! Try the full thali - highly recommend 😋

Constantly ordered from this place when i had nothing to eat, but the food was not tat good, as it says ghar ka khana may be tat y it was made little bland, but just walking distance from my home so sometimes it was helpful when u dont want much flavors of food

Ordered food one Wednesday evening... I was astonished at the 20 min delivery time. Loved the Raima, gobhi k paranthe and the gulab jamun was awesome... A must try place. It would be grt if they add more items to menu... And i must add I was impressed by the professional packaging of the food.
4 hours! This is the amount of time I spent for going to this place and coming back. Yes, Traffic. I would say it was almost worth the time. The Rs. 100 thali had roti, aloo-paratha, two sabzi, papad, pickles, dal, rice and salad. I must say, I ate a lot. The combinations were really good to not let me control. It was a good package. It isn't exactly ghar-ka-khana types, but it did have the right ingredients to make me rate it 3.5. I would have gone for 3.75, if I had the option, because the things really tasted good.
Truly speaking after 20 of every month this is the place where i use to go because after every 20 you starts counting your money. I use to eat mostly unlimited thali that costs you 100/- and every time i have a grt experience and only three words to say "KAM ME BAM" ;)
Just a little issue because when you go inside you may feel someone is using hot dryer but it can be neglected because of awesome food. :) :)

85rs a plate veg thaali that contained 4 mummy's special Roti's aloo dry dish, a rajma gravy and a dal topped with some rice and a papad to seal the deal. But no wait the heat outside demanded a lassi to make a perfect end and voila a nice chilled lassi. Perfect place to eat... Not so great an ambience but for convenience and on budget this is the best place to go to.

The food is perfect. Rightly given the name ghar ka khana. I ordered full meal with extra roti. Though the extra roti was charged but not delivered, yet i liked the delivery time and taste. Perfect for everyday meal.

100/- a meal with variety of unlimited food. Located not even in the main road, you will find a queue of people out here waiting for there turn to enjoy some not so oily or spicy food.
You will find varieties in paratha, chole bhatura but the unlimited thali is the best here.
We often come and enjoy our food here. This place is lacking in the ambience with very small place unable to manage a big bunch of people at a same time.
When back in Bangalore I use to visit this place regularly . They use to be located at two place first one near the main road where they offered Snacks Item /refreshment and second one in a interior in one House offering Meal. I would call this place as a Tiffin Service place for Bachelors staying nearby BTM layout which was priced slightly higher because of the hygiene which they maintained.
Currently after reading the menu I find that it is pretty reasonably priced.
One advice for anyone would be before ordering anything confirm with the staff that its fresh.
it is just a small place for meal. For the north Indian peoples the food is like home, very well made and reaosanable price. Service is also good. Home delivery facility is also okay!
I order light meal every Sunday from this place is contains one gravy dish, dal/rajma, 4 ghee chapathis, rice, papad, salad nd pickle - just for Rs. 85. Order it and enjoy, you'll love it as your weekend lunch.. (do take a nap after you eat it :) )
The name complements the food they serve and you do get ghar ka khana in BTM with homely dal subzi and roti. They don't have a fixed menu card but the contents float around across the calendar days. The full thaali give u the option of an unlimited buffet. Starting right from puri chhole to bhatura chana in breakfast, they also offer daal baati churma , rajma rice and kadhi chawal in lunch. Sweets are a must have after ur meal. Aam-Ras , kheer, and gajar halva are some of the famous ones included in the menu.
Don't forget to add meethi lassi or namkeen chhach on a hot day!

I have been eating there for months but I must say quality of food has decreased and varies a lot now a days. Few days it's superb and few days just opposite specially Sunday meals. Still a place to suggest for pocket friendly meals.
The place to have North Indian homely food. It's a pocket friendly place and can be even eaten daily as they have good food quality and dey add proper spices.
Almost Home Like Food:
Whenever you don't wana enter in your kitchen but still would want to have food which can give you immense satisfaction then you can call or visit the outlet. I have tried it multiple time and got almost home-like food every single time.
So it is highly recommended at least for all North-Indians.. It is definitely a GoTo place.

I tried the Parathas and they were good and i also tried the Ghee rice which were not worth the price.
Located 24th main and 3rd cross.
Had unlimited thali (buffet) today. 80 rs.
You get unlimited chapatis, curries, rice, dry veg. You get limited items that includes a bowl of sweet (carrot halwa) , cucumber pieces (they call salad), pickle, chutney (mint) and a papad.
The best thing I noticed that the dishes / chapatis were less oily. No oil at all in chapatis. I liked that.
Nothing about ambience as it's a homely food type. Buffet is on first floor and other at ground floor.
Dishes were good. Not a family type restaurant. Mostly guys only to eat.
I felt the guy at the counter could have smiled when asked about payment. You have to pay first and then eat.
Overall good food. 3.5 from me. 4 stars if cashier had behaved friendly manner

Simply best, affordable, homely north Indian food im BTM 2nd stage. It is run by mostly ever-smiling young guns. Basically this restaurant is a saviour for people like us who settle in Bangalore from northern part of India. Try once and get your dinner sorted. :)

So why 4 star? Food is good, healthy, hygienic and good quality, but...it costs around 85 to 110 rupees easily. In unlimited dish of 100rs For one person food is too much.
Point is: They need simple 60 or 70 rupees fix dish introduction. It would make people coming everyday.
Just reduce the cost and food quantity.
I was a regular at this place when I stayed in BTM. Tasty and budget friendly.
The hotel did not give me a good impression the 1st time I saw it. But, on recommendation from my friend(s), I tried and MANNNN....this place served pretty good food. All items I tried turned out to be tasty.
Again, not sure about the recent past (Covid and post-covid) how it is doing. But, I would definitely visit this place again if I have a chance.

The food is good, as the name suggests, it's close to our Ghar as it uses less useless spices to cook food. Daal is also good here, chapati and other stuffs are also prepared on the spot and served hot. Coming to it's prices, it's really very competitive and easily manageable as compared to other shops and the food they serve. So it's a must try place.
