One of my favourite items from Five Star Chicken. The quantity of the meat between the buns was surprisingly sufficient , the sauce which they used was really very cheesy and had the perfect kick. The bun was soft and added to the overall experience of the burger.

Pocket friendly..perfect for crunchy bites..yummy cheesy chicken pops and spicy chicken fingers are best. Fingers were juicy and crunchy munch.
Super nice varieties of chicken served here, we always go to the five start chicken during evening of Friday, we ordered chicken leg, which was nice and tender to eat.

Five star chicken has numerous outlets all across bangalore and one fine day I visited this one. Not many variations were available at that time.
I tried their fried chicken which was decent and was not too greasy. The chicken popcorn tasted better than what I have tasted elsewhere but it would be great if they make it fully with chicken and not batter.
The hot dogs were nice! Especially with the Italian Frankfurter which was delicious. These were the varieties available then.
I would love to try out their other offerings some time. Overall, a decent place to grab a quick bite.
Their a bit underrated, but to be honest, their Fried Chicken tastes better than their counterparts. And for a quick grab 'n' go situation, this place is perfect.
Decent place. Definitely worth the money we pay for a chicken bucket.. have ordered from here couple of times and it was good...Waiting time also less. So hassle free..
Was in Indiranagar to meet some college friends and were looking for a pocket friendly cafe to satisfy our chicken craving and I must say it didn't disappoint, we ordered Mexican hot dog, chicken nuggets, cappuccino and Chicken burgers and everything was filling and relishing. The staff was attentive and very interactive explaining bits of every item we ordered.
Five Star Chicken, no matter where it is never fails to disappoint. Agreed it might not be a brand as big as the others but it's a boon for people who don't want or can't spend much for having decent chicken. I have tried 3 outlets and it's all good. Maybe just chicken, burger or sausages everything's pretty decent not bad at all. Should try out definitely!
Better than KFC at a marginally lower price. But most of its outlets do not have the ambience that KFC provides. The crunchy Masala fried chicken is the best, the Thai Crispy and Smokey versions are decent. Won't recommend the burgers !!

A combo of a crispy chicken, chicken crispy burger, french fries and pepsi.
The chicken was fresh and hot, this was the spicier variant and it does well on the spice quotient.
The burger was a let down for me, could be due to the fact that the comparison was with some big names in the burger industry. The patty was alright, but that was all that was there in the burger with loads of mayo, I spiced it up with the chilly sauce.
Fries were served coated with a masala, prefer these to a plain french fry. Good quantity for a single persons meal..
Will go back though only for the spicy crispy chicken.

Our 19th FBAB meetup, was held on 23rd January, Saturday by 1:00 p. m to 3:00 p.m at 5 STAR CHICKEN, Indira Nagar, Bangalore, India. We all arrived on time, before the meetup we (foodies) all had a small chat with some pictures (selfies). When I got to see the restaurant name “5 STAR CHICKEN” and saw few of my vegetarian foodies coming there, was wondering “What would these people do in this place? “. Later after tasting their food got to know they have got signature dishes in Vegetarian too. Now they are in a discussion to rename them as “5 STAR CAFÉ” as they found vegetarian people heading to their restaurant, also they wanted more vegetarian people to visit them.
Five Star Chicken is Brilliant and a Strong competition to KFC. If not globally then definitely in Bangalore. This place is located on the 100ft road near to Harry's Pub.
The taste is excellent and they keep adding new dishes to their menu. The Thai Crispy Chicken and Crunchy masala are our all time favorites. The hot and smoky chicken is really hot! The chicken is perfectly cooked and has a excellent crispy or crunchy coat. They also serve nuggets and a burger known as Hungry Bird.
The service is prompt and the chicken is precooked and served hot depending on the availability. The prices are decent and not hard on the wallet.
Since this is a takeaway nothing much on the ambiance.
5star chicken is probably less than 2 years old in bangalore but it has earned its reputation as the "economic cousin of KFC". This particular outlet was earlier a small roadside stall tucked underneath the netradhama eye hospital; but it has now moved in to a shop next to Srinidhi Sagar and the newly opened Jive pub (which means it has been growing steadily).
My personal favourite here in the crispy chicken which they call crunchy chicken. Each piece is of the same size and ALMOST the same taste as you'd get in KFC but is less than half the price vs. KFC. The crunchy chicken is available in spicy (Thai) and non-spicy varieties.
They also have a few relatively new additions to their menu like chicken burger, fries, rolls and hotdogs aside from soft drinks and ice cream. Their food is almost always fresh and warm.
I have rated them 4/5 mainly for their price - quality - taste balance. It's not the best in the world but fairly satisfactory for the price.
Five star is spreading all across the town like fire. It sure is. Probably because of their fried chicken which is tasty and at very much affordable prices. I've eaten from I don't know how many outlets of theirs. Fried chicken bucket is really good. Serves upto 10 pieces ( chicken breast and wings and legs ) . Their rolls are very average.

Located on Double Road, near ESI Hospital, Five Star Chicken is more of a small hole in the wall than a restaurant. You can eat here, but there are no tables, so you would have to stand. However, this place makes a lot of sense if you want good fried chicken takeaway on a budget.
There are two variants of fried chicken, Thai and Masala. They are boat very similar to KFC's Hot n Crispy Chicken, i.e. there is a generous bread / flour coating on the chicken which provides a nice crunchy cover to the soft meat inside. Regarding their taste, the Masala tastes good, in a crowd pleaser sort of way, and comes closest to replicating KFC's Hot n Crispy. The Thai is slightly milder, so if you like KFC's Chicken, you would go in for the Masala.
The best part though is the price. For both Thai and Masala flavours, a Wing costs Rs. 39, and a regular piece Rs. 41. Keep in mind they add 14.5% VAT to the bill, so the final total is around Rs. 45 for a piece. There are not packing charges, unlike KFC.
A KFC Hot n Crispy on the other hand costs around Rs. 150 (before tax) for two similar pieces, as compared to Rs. 90 for Five Star Chicken. So at 40% cheaper, it is HUGE Value for Money.
There are few other items available, like chicken nuggets and fingers, which cost Rs. 35 for three. They come skewered on a stick and are a hassle free way to eat chicken, but I found them to be a bit anonymous in taste compared to the Thai and Masala Fried Chicken. Still, at Rs. 35 for three, as compared to Rs. 105 for three pieces of boneless chicken strips, they are way cheaper than the KFC equivalent.
All in All, Five Star Chicken has one great USP - Great VFM. That it's Masala Chicken also tastes good is an added bonus.
Located in the parking area of a famous eye hospital in the Indira Nagar double road, this small outlet usually attracts with its bright signage. Being in the vicinty of my home, was a regular visitor. They had introduced quiet many varieties since their inception. Both bone less and bone varieties are avaialble , the chicken wings , bullets etc are crispy and not over fried and juicy . No seating is available and take away is better. Items will be almost empty by 10 pm during week days and may be 30 min more during week ends.
Not to miss if you wanna get an experience almost matching to that of KFC.
Tasty fried chicken but not enough place to sit and eat.
The restaurant serves fresh and quality chicken snacks. It has space for only 2 people to sit. You can also find ice cream and soft drinks.
Overall if I have to rate then I would say 3 stars is the perfect score for their service and food...
They usually don't accept much cash and they are currently running out of business as they are not able to meet customers requirement.
The owner is a great guy. Treats customers with utmost respect and always suggests good stuff. Overall fantastic experience here. It's a take away outlet with seating where one can eat. No tables though. This place is not a dine in.
You get the best burgers here. I being a vegetarian find it very hard to get tasty burgers where there are non-vegetarian options too, but this place is an exception and beats big brands like McDonald's and KFC. The fries are nice too, but a little spicy. This outlet is tiny and has no dining area, so it's best for take-aways. The also have ice-creams available at this outlet which makes a great combo with the burger.
They have Great fried chicken. Sometimes less in flavour but the quality of service and product is wonderful in this chain outlet
Great taste. Price wise, taste wise it's surely better than any other fried chicken in the market. Try only fried chicken and seriously pls don't waste your money on Burger and rolls.

Love the Krisper Chicken Roll and the spicy sauce they put in it. The fried chicken is good but not mind blowing hence the 4 stars for 5 star Chicken 😀
best for quick bites. Served hot. But do not have hand wash facilities. Most of the Five start chicken had it.
