This is a small and cute place. The ice creams are very soft and melt in your mouth. I tried the red velvet sundae and a coffee sundae. The red velvet cake and Oreo pieces with ice cream were super yum! There’s a decent amount of ice cream, but go to the Zomato gold outlets to make it more budget friendly.

I just love every dessert from Polar Bear. Anytime you want have some great ice creams in a reasonable price, then just head head to Polar Bear. I’ve had Fruity Zest and Gadbad from here. They were just delicious.

People keep raving about Baskin Robin's and Corner House, but this place has the best ice-cream in the world. The quantity, prices, taste and the flavors are all amazing. I'd rate the place 5 stars any day!
One of the best options for a good ice cream always is Polar Bear. Any outlet you go to, never disappoints. Chocozilla and fruitzest is what I had ordered. Fruitzest with a combination of seasonal and non seasonal fruits along with mango ice cream on the top makes it delicious as ever. Chocozilla is the go to option for all choco freaks!

Polar bear will always remind a nostalgic place for me , have been going here since my childhood days. This time ordered Death by chocolate from here . Had 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream, loaded with miniature brownies , cashews and chocolate sauce . Tasted obviously good. Nothing really to complain.. but comparatively would say corner House serves DBC better since it has a much more generous amounts of chocolate sauce larger pieces of brownies, fresh cream and cherries but that's topped with roasted groundnuts where as polar bear tops them with cashews.
Really good taste but the chocolate sauce wasn’t much that would fulfill the outlet but n eat .

A friend surprised my husband on his bday with the sundaes from polar bear. Honestly I haven't tasted any sundaes better than at polar bears. Since it was bought by a friend, I don't really know the names of sundaes except that, one was of chocolate and other was a fruit sundaes.

I ordered the brownie fudge sundae. It was a gooey treat with a brownie piece, two scoops of ice cream, fudge, nuts, with a cherry on top. The brownie could’ve been better it was warmed up before serving.

The ambience is like any other ice cream parlour and it's often crowded.
They have a wide variety of flavours and my favourite of them all is the cookie n cream.
The price is fairly reasonable as well.
I have visited this place many times and recently i decided to try some new flavours.
We ordered Coffee Brazilia and Swiss chocolate (in the cup) which was absolutely delicious. Those who love the essence of coffee should definitely try this. Swiss chocolate had pieces of kit kat and added the crunchy effect.
Also, we picked a cone of cookie n cream which was heavenly. The cone was freshly made and was crisp.
For something more chocolate, we picked the Chocozilla which was layered with brownie and vanilla and chocolate ice cream and topped with whipped cream. There was a hint of chocolate sauce as well.

There is one thing that makes me go back to Polar Bear again and again and that is their "Kesar Kulfi" All ice cream lovers, this one is a must try. Kesari kulfi is coated with gracious amount of condensed milk and honey topped with generous amount of cashew nuts. I am having this from a long time, from 11 years if I am not wrong and still tastes the same. Lychee Sunday is also delicious. However the ambiance can be improved. The place is very small and gets congested when its crowded. The look and feel of an ice cream parlor is missing.

Firstly we had Fruity Zest & Tiramisu. Fruity Zest was good with a lot of loaded fresh fruits, but Tiramisu was not satisfying. Will come back for more & taste the others too
I went to this place with my friend after a sumptuous dinner at Al-bek's.. This branch of polar bear is not over crowded and has spacious place to sit.. We tried the two variations of caramel crunch ice cream.. Both were really good and gave the finishing touch as needed..
I first learnt about this ice-cream chain in Infosys Mysore where people sweared by its Death By Chocolate. Well, it indeed is heavenly. Something to die for! I thought that was the last time I saw of it only to later realise that it is a popular brand in Karnataka and when I encountered it again in Bangalore, I was beside myself with joy. They have a good variety of ice creams and all very reasonably priced. Apart from its famed DBC, they have some other superb combinations like Seven Wonders, Deep Purple, Spanish Delight etc. The next time you pass by an outlet, do pop in for a delicious ice-cream treat. Your taste-buds would be thanking you later.

It's a small ice-cream outlet which provides a small snacks menu. Place is not pocket friendly as far as ice-cream is concerned. I tried kala jamun and black current here. Black current flavour was awesome, service was fast. I would suggest this place to small groups as it can at max accommodate 6 people to one table.

Great ambiance , the cosy sofa set and also road side greenery looks is awesome, location wisr calm, peaceful and easy to reach
Their menu is exotic and to make it more good is their way of maintaining the their premises absolutely clean and very appealing , staff service is good and they listen to you a lot , parking is fairly decent
Coming to menu, we tasted vanilla, Alphonso mango delight and also kesar pista they are mouth watering and you will say ummmm with every spoon of ice cream you taste , if your partner / friend is unhappy it's a place to be in and strengthen the bondage

I didn't really think too highly about Polar Bear. This was the branch that changed my opinion!
This place is larger than most others, and also has a relaxed feel. Nice ambiance as well. Friendly staff, who provide quick service.
Now coming to the actual desserts. What I had here, was definitely much better in terms of both quality and quantity, compared to other polar Bear outlets. Between me and my mom, we had a regular strawberry scoop, and Death by Chocolate Sunday. The strawberry ice cream, in general, was better than what is found elsewhere. I liked it a bit, in spite of me not being a fan of strawberry ice cream. Coming to Death by Chocolate...simply WOW! It actually tasted better than what we get at Corner House. The quantity was really good as well.
One thing I have realised about the Polar Bear Chain, is that there is no consistency in terms of quality. Thankfully, this one turned out to be really good!

My only all time favourite here is the death by chocolate sundae and cake fudge as a scoop and I love them for the taste that they deliver and the actual taste of the bitterness in the chocolate which many outlets have killed in chocolate by adding extensive amount of sugar in it.
I also love their coleslaw sandwich in their extended menu . The other good sandwiches are paneer tikka and spinach and corn sandwiches. This place is always the back up plan in case of any situations.
The quality has been consistent for as long as I can remember which I admire. They don't rush in opening their franchises which is a thought worth considering.

Here Death by chocolate is not soo tastier.... Most probably I don't like chocolate at all ;p i suggest to taste the Alphonso mango :) just coz I lyk mango :D
This is one of my other favourite ice cream places. They have really good options and fun choices. And considering the quantity the price seems pretty reasonable. The place is pretty small but the quite nice. Best part I like about this place is, even if you are alone you can go there take sit and help yourself to a nice yummy treat all the while staring outside and brooding on your thoughts.
Of all the many ice cream Polar Bear serves, their Death by Chocolate, or DBC as it is popularly called, stands out. With ice cream, dark chocolate cake, hot chocolate sauce, nuts, honey and much more is a hot favourite of many and this cold dessert is indeed hot selling! They have an extensive variety of flavours and you generally end up going for a big scoop ( bear hug!).
Being an ice cream parlour, they also offer sandwiches, the chilli macaroni sandwich is super delicious. A crispy grilled sandwich with a spicy gooey filling of macaroni. Teaming up a sandwich and a sundae can make ones perfect lunch or dinner!
The prices are moderate, outlet not very spacious, go there for a quick bite!!

Pizza ice cream! Visited this place to try one of its specialities the pizza ice cream. A thin layer of cake with a thick layer of ice cream topped with lots of cheese and jelly. This ice cream is a must try. The new addition on their menu while I visited was the choc a block a great take for a chocolate lover.
With a good variety of quality ice creams and sandwiches polar bear s a must try. Most of the outlets are compact. Be it the one in Bsk or jaynagar. However the koramangala outlet s slightly bigger.

The sandwiches and few sundaes here are delicious and the corner place with glass cover and being close to jayanagars long line of parks makes it ideal place to be after having a nice lunch and then going out for a walk.

Ice-creams is surely among the favourite items for many folks as it is something that we have been told to avoid in our young age to keep us away from cold. But, then even there you get loads of shops that boast of good ice-creams. This is one unique ice-cream shop where in they advertise as ‘Vegetarian Ice-creams’. I think they don’t use any ‘animal-fat or product from animals to soften icreams’. I went there first time to pick up a 2 kgs of ice-cream (Vanilla & Strawberry) for my brother’s birthday.
Once I got introduced there, I started taste some of their delicacies of ice-creams, sundaes, cones. Usually the place is pretty crowded with people as there are people coming there to order, sit, eat and leave. Many who go there with the intent to parcel it back for home so that you can enjoy the ice-creams while watching something on TV.
My favourites in that places include - DBC (Death By Chocolate) agh comes with loads of chocolate sauce, brown, more chocolate, vanilla ice-cream, nuts. It is super yummy as they put loads of choco.
Deep Purple - Vanilla Strawberry Ice-cream scoops and also ‘Black Current sauce’. It is super yummy to taste it. He puts the ‘blackberries’ as the top pies which in itself has got a great taste.
Other than that some of the others that I taste includes - Choco Fudge Ice-cream, Banana Split, Hot Choco Fudge.
I know that there are quite a few but the ones mentioned above are my favourites.
I see that they also make sandwiches, burgers there but I have not taken it even once.
I love the spoons that are pretty strong and the packaging is also excellent there. This outlet is quite small and looks congested. Wish it was a bit more on the broader side.
My overall rating would be 3.5, may be few more visits are needed to enhance my taste-buds there.

Polar Bear is one of my favorite to satisfy my dessert cravings. It had opened one of its branches close to my house (long ago) and we were till then fans of Corner House and BR till we visited this place. Slowly but surely, it has now become our place of choice. The reason being

My review is based on my recent visit in the evening with my kids though I frequent this place quite often
It is summer vacation time and I could not say not to kids for ice creams . Come on Its SUMMER Vacation. Off we went to this place after dinner and our order was Belgium Chocolate, DBC and HCF. Needless to mention, all the ice creams were very good and my only wish is that they should really add a bit more chocolate sauce (hot) to the DBC which will really make it even more yummy and really live by its name They have also introduced some new flavour and Sundaes which are equally good. We also had a Choco Bloc (name may be wrong) which had Oreo in it on vanilla ice cream. This was good with crispy crunches of oreo and chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream which was served in a long glass. It is surprisingly affordable.
Ambience : The place is a typical Ice cream joint with some tables to be seated & hardly any space between them. They are good in taking orders and the service is very prompt.
They have also have sandwiches just in case you wanna have a bite. I must admit while I had my initial reservations I found them to be quite good and worth a bite (had them one late afternoon)
Polar Bear is a small clean joint for snacks and ice creams and now they are present across namma Bengaluru so do drop in and enjoy.
Polar Bear is my all time favorite for my snack and dessert cravings. Their Chilli Cheese sandwich is the best out there, when the burst of heat from the chilis get soothed out with the sweetness of the cheese its just divine. It is served with Ketchup and some Lays Chips too.
Coming to ice creams there a lot of them that I love Fruit Royale comes first in the list followed by DBC and Pizza slice. Many times when we go in huge groups I have got to taste a lot of other ice creams too and there is not one that I have disliked or hated.
Polar Bear is a small clean joint for snacks and ice creams. They have several branches in Bangalore so do look for one close to you and stop by sometime.
The quantity they give per scoop I awesome. I loved there rum and raisin ice cream. It's pure value for money. Great job guys.
Polar Bear Outlets are great and definitely a nice place to get Ice Cream Desserts,at a few outlets they serve Sandwich's which are great. Over the years they have definitely replaced the once prominent Corner House Ice Cream Parlours.

I had a great experience at almost all the Polar Bear Stores. This was one was particularly better.
The store manager helped with all the tastings as requested. Further, they mentioned ongoing schemes that reduced our bill by half.

Peanut butter brownie was something different and its a heaven for peanut butter fans. The all time hit pair gulab jamun with ice cream was tasting yummy. Tres leches was tasty but the cake at the bottom was dry and the milk was not soaked into the cake. I suggest polar bear to add the milk and serve the customer so that by the time they have the dessert the cake would have soaked in milk and tastes good.
Nice ambience and ofcourse DBC is the best! Falooda was not good.
