Had been here a day back for lunch, and it was a delight to have had visited this place. This is located in the Infantry road just opposite to the New Indian Express. They have two parts one is the Express and the other is the Bistro. As the name defines Express is for fast service and quick bites. They have all the ranges of Croissants and chats and quick bites. Tried their Chicken soup and their Indian Meal Main course with a salad and it was good. Their dum biryani is a must try, the chicken is so well cooked. And vegetarians don't worry they have amazing options for you'll as well. They have some amazing paneer and Daal Makhni. Their desserts were a delight. I loved their phirni with gelabeies and their Chocolate Gulab Jamun was awesome. The jamun being so soft and their warm chocolate bursting out from the middle. It's a perfect place if you want to have great Indian food. They even give you amazing offers in the buffet choices for a really reasonable rates.

Visited this new place for buffet lunch over the weekend. It is very spacious and good ambiance place with quality service. In starters tried Veg Kurkure which not only looked great but also tasted amazing with the sweet sauce. Kandhari Paneer Tikka was prepared nicely with soft refreshing paneer and crispiness was perfectly balanced in platter. There was no vagueness in taste of Paneer unlike i found in many other places. In buffet really loved the Kofta curry and Paneer Makhani. Kofta had really tasty filling and curry was super tasty. Paneer curry was more than decent when it comes to use of really soft Paneer and gravy was good to pair nicely with veg pulao and fried rice. Also tried the chinese Manchurian gravy and it was a good option to have it buffet along with regular North Indian curries. Tandoori Roti was baked perfectly and tasted awesome, but in bread i loved the Methi Paratha and it is one really good thing to have here. In drinks mocktails were just ok, tried Virgin Mojito and its flavor was totally dominated with mint only. Desserts had Kesrai Ras Malai and Gulab Jamun and both were good, especially the Gulab Jamun which had some really tasty filling inside. Overall this is really nice place to dine in for buffet which is priced reasonably and have good variety of food option.

Visited this brand-new buffet place called ‘Moxa Bistro’ at Infantry Road just next to the Indian Express building, over their special buffet last weekend. Was awed by the ambience of the place which is very subtle and astute. It was post-noon and the place was well lit-up with the natural light, endowing an altogether different feel to the sober décor. The buffet is a very carefully crafted three course meal, which starts with the servings of delectable starters – ample variety both for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. I tried their signature ‘Veg Kurkure’ which not only looked very classy and awesome but also tasted delicious, served with a rich helping of sweet sauce. I also loved their ‘Kandhari Paneer Tikka’ which was cooked to perfection, very soft and refreshing with the side salads and chutneys. The starters were accompanied with a very rich selection of mocktails, must haves in the hot weather outside. The mocktail that really stood out for me was the ‘Rose Lassi’, not usually found so easily in Bangalore. The main-course comprised of a wide variety of options – through-and-through in appetizers, mains and desserts. I started with the ‘Tomato Shorba Dhaniya’ soup which was good & flavorsome, but seemed a little undercooked. This was followed with a helping each of ‘Greek Salad’ & ‘Dahi Bhalla Chaat’. ‘Greek Salad’ was spot on, however the first round of ‘Dahi Bhalla Chat’ had become a little soggy maybe because it was served in the buffet much before we started eating. In main course, I loved their ‘Garlic Fried Rice’, which went very well with ‘Stir Fried Vegetables in Soya Sauce’. In Indian spread, loved their ‘Paneer Makhani’ and ‘Vilayati Tawa Subz’. ‘Dal Makhni’ also went well with the ‘Biryani Rice’, but the gravy of ‘Dal Makhni’ was a little more running & less creamier then expected. These delectable dishes also went very well with the freshly prepared and served choice of breads – ‘Stuffed Amritsari Kulcha’, ‘Naan’, ‘Paratha’ & ‘Tandoori Roti’. The Kofta curry was also delicious. Desserts had ‘Kesari Ras Malai’ and ‘Chocolate Gulab Jamun’, both of which were delicious. It was the very first time in life that I tried Gulab Jamuns with hot chocolate filling, which was a great combination to say the least. Not to forget, this amazing experience comes at a very reasonable price of 499+ GST and if you buy buffet for 4 people, you get buffet for 1 complementary free. This was certainly one of the very good buffets I have had in Bangalore and will certainly recommend a visit.

Look what, a new buffet restaurant has opened in infantry road exactly behind the Indian express building. The ambience is so classic and very spacious. The arc shaped couches makes you feel so comfortable while dining. Coming to food, the buffet was having the variety of options both in starters and main course and yes they have good mocktails too. CHICKEN LYCHEE SALAD : This was too good, didn't knew chicken n lychee tastes so good. Just perfect blend of everything. A must try. IN STARTERS 1) MUTTON DRY : The mutton was good at spices and cooked perfectly. 2) pindhiwala Chicken : This was good too. Buffett options : The Indian bread with dal makhni, chicken was too good. The Gulab jamun was good, the rasmalai was bad. Look what the buffet is for 499+ GST and that too buy 4 and get 1 free. A must for economical gatherings.

Moxa Bistro- restaurant attached to iStay Hotels on Infantry road located parallel opposite to Indian Express. The place can accommodate easily around 90-100 patrons at full capacity. The ambience is just done to perfection with more emphasis being on the food they serve. Also have a mocktail bar with the bartender whipping up some decent Cocktails. The Chef here is a asset and takes pride in serving some of the good dishes with passion and pride. The Service here is top notch with the Servers ready to go the extra mile in keeping the patrons happy. Had been here to the Buffet lunch priced at Rs 499/- and also have a offer like -‘Pay for 4 pax,5 th person eats free’ if you are in a group, you can avail this offer. The Menu tried in Buffet — The Shorba tried- 1.Tomato Dhaniya Shorba- Best avoid and under cooked. The Salad- 1.Chicken Tikka Lychee Salad- A MUST TRY if you are on the house...perhaps the BEST have tried of late. The Starters 1.Dahi Bhalla Paapdi Chaat- too soggy, not a great fan If not done right. 2.Mutton Dry- Perfectly done with tender meat and right spices 3.Pindiwala Bhatti Murgh- Superb and a must try The Mains 1.Indian Bread- Just perfect and served hot 2.Gosht Biryani- a perfect blend of spices, juicy Mutton cooked with basmati rice...End result-LIP SMACKING BIRYANI😋 The Desserts 1.Chocalate Gulab Jamun- a perfect way to end your buffer. Satiates your sweet tooth right. Rs 499/- for this buffet is a bargain, pocket friendly and just fills your tummy right. Both Cards and Cash accepted. Kid friendly No Valet Parking Service, however have reserved parking Space for 5-6 Cars in front of the restaurant. Reservations not mandatory If you are in the area and are looking out for a buffet, this is the place to go. As of me, would definitely go back for more...

What a fabulous property visited recently on a Sunday to try out their buffet. As per the pricing it's just Paisa Vasool I can say. It's situated inside the Istay Hotel which is beside the the new Indian Express Building. So easy to find in a moving traffic. Parking facility was there. Well planned ambience. Coming to the service they have hired a skilled service team. They will disappoint you with their service. Food was just wow. As per the Silicon valley standard buffet custom starts with a Welcome drink and 4 starters equally divided for Non veg and veg lovers. Mutton dry preparation and Sabji Kurkure was just wow served in a shot glass with a dip of sweet chilly sauce. Main course was well divided in cuisines like Conti, Indian, Oriental and Tandoori. Special mentions in buffet are Chicken Litchi Salad, Khubani ka Kofta and indian breads. We have finished our lunch on a sweet note with Chocolate Gulab Jamun. Mocktails can be orders from the Bar. Bon Appetit Chef BB

Such a refreshing place for a pleasant brunch or lunch buffet with family . As i entered first thing that made me feel fresh was their white chairs and round tables to make any group of people comfortable and cozy . Started of with lassi and mocktail of my choice . Being a vegetarian i was so so satisfied with the variety and unique in the approach . Starters . Tomato shorba :Needless to say how this is good . Sabzi kurkuri : Veggies with cheese deep fried and served with chilli sweet sauce thats totally drooling and lip smacking . Panner tikka :Grilled panner with the green sauce is just on point . Main course : Loved the spread of panner and vegetable variants they had along with long grain of rice cooked perfectly with indian breads to choose from . Desserts Jammooonnn and rasmalai as cheery on the cake do visit this place for a good time

Food:4/5 Ambience:4/5 Service:4/5 Totally loved the place , located around infantry road , the restaurant offers a good buffet at a reasonable price located in such a prime area ,which is quite the highlight of this place. The starters such as Sabzi Kurkure, paneer Tikka were great while the main course such as koftas , paneer sabzis also didn't disappoint , their menu keeps varying for the buffet. While the restaurant has an orange theme for the decor, it has room for a jam packed brunch on a Sunday , I would totally recommend this place for a good buffet.

It seems this is a relatively new restaurant, but food and experience are second to none. It’s located on infantry road with big parking space. The ambiance is good. Staff is courteous and prompt. We ordered oriental food, which was great. I would recommend it to everyone.
