Great Place for Tasty Food!
Visited this restaurant recently and had a wonderful experience. The ambiance was peaceful, and the food was absolutely delicious. Appam stew for breakfast was a standout dish. Although slightly expensive, it's definitely worth it. Highly recommended!
Kuury Meen was not just about the food but was about experiencing Kerala through their food, hospitality and warmth of the place.
We visited Kurry Meen as a family and absolutely loved the scrumptious, delicate and authentic Kerala cuisine.
The fish fry was bang on!!!
It was perfectly marinated and was so fresh.
The prawn and seer fish curry was so delicately cooked and were perfect with light and fluffy idiapppams.
The appams were so spongy and perfect with the chicken Ularthiyathu.
Just the way we all liked it...Overall it felt like food cooked just for us by someone who showers their positivity and love into their food....that's Shreeja(The sooper woman behind Kurry Meen).
A must visit place
The food was delicious. Authentic Kerala style.
Kurrymeen is a Kerala restaurant in Thippasandra. It is a very lowkey setup offering good malayali cuisine. The setup is still relatively new and understated and hence, ambiance levels might be a bit underwhelming. Parking also could be a problem as the road is a bit narrow.
But coming to the food, it transported us back to our homes with authentic flavours and dishes. We had the Chicken Kizhi porotta and Seer Meen Pollichathu. The fish was amazing and the fish was also very fresh. You get two pieces of fish in the polllichathu. The kizhi porotta was also tasty but the chicken pieces were a bit bony and we felt better pieces could have been provided. The tea also was excellent.
Being a small setup , there could be a non availability of some dishes and hence it is advisable to call and confirm before dining in.
Great find for anyone craving authentic kerela cuisine. We got the mutton stew, chicken dish (difficult spelling) appam, and porota and butter milk. I would strongly recommend dining in; it’s a quaint cute place and really friendly staff (thanks Vinod, Sreeja, Venkat)
Located in a quant corner of Indiranagar, Kurrymeen is a goto place for those looking for decent malayali food on a budget. We had cutlets and kizi parrota. Everything was so good, just loved it
The food is like very much like home cooked food. The chef is malyali but they also dabble with other Indian cuisines. They're changing their menu in a week so I'm excited to see what they create!
The ambience is like a verandah of a big home with comfortable chairs and the staff is super friendly as well.
If you need a quiet, good-vibe place to get a nice home-cooked meal - go here!
One of my favourite things to have here is the mallu style chicken biryani with beautifully cooked chicken and a perfect portion for one really hungry person :)
Had this awesome food at Kurrymeen.Varutharacha chicken was yummy. Had 2 helpings of sambharam too which was blissfull in the uncomfortably warm Bangalore weather. Shreeja the proprietor who runs the place is so welcoming that one feels at home. Will surely go back for the amazing food...
The place to go for authentic Kerala food. Mutton curry and appam was super yummy and is a must try. The prawn cutlets were also very good. Very home cooked style food and the hospitality makes it even more special experience. Mom and I felt like we are at a relatives place. Approaching the place via side lane will also help you get parking. Vinod and Sreeja are great hosts.
Kurrymeen is a little restaurant in Thippasandra serving Kerala cuisine. They serve the best appams I've had in Bengaluru. The portion size is great and pricing is very reasonable. Would highly recommend a visit, for the authentic food and also for the warm hospitality of the proprietor Sreeja, who is also an author and gastronome.
Food was fantastic and the parotta and iraichi was awesome. Place is very pleasant and obsoletely the taste was like home made. Briyani was less masala with heathy stuff. Fish was little costly for the size. But all the other items were awesome. Next time planned to try kizhiparotta and meen pozhichadhu.
Probably the best place to have authentic Kerala cuisine. The chicken stew was marvellous and brought back fond memories. The thalassery biryani was almost perfect. I’m definitely going back to try out the rest of the menu.
We visited the place to have our Sunday lunch as we were carving for some delicious Indian food. We couldn't have picked a better place. We loved everything we ordered - Biriyani, chicken stew with Appam, and desserts. Each dish was delicately cooked to perfection. Definitely visiting this place again 🙌 And not to mention the owner is friendly and passionate about serving quality food.
