The best thing about this place is that the food tasted excellent. The spread was great and the service was amazing. There was a good amount of spread for vegetarians considering the fact that it offered both veg and non-veg options.
The desserts were excellent. The only catch here is that the special buffet price of 599 rupees is just during the 12 PM to 1 PM time slot. It is worth remembering this as I was not able to find this info anywhere else. The regular price is 899 rupees. Also, this place needs an advanced booking. It is a place worth visiting if money is not a bar for you.
ZEST : Levelle Road
Very Good
We ordered a Buffet Meal
1. Starters : 3 out of 5 .
They had range of starters from : Chicken, Fish to Paneer and many other, all tasted good. The fried ones were very unhealthy, the grilled ones were good.
2. Chicken : 4 stars out of 5
3. Mutton : 3 stars. Gravy was tasty
4. Fish Curry : 4 stars, i think it was Basa, which does not have an inheritent taste, otherwise the sauce and cooking was very good.
5. Deserts : I tried Fruit cake and Mango Mousse, both brilliant. Other freinds tried many other deserts, all appreciated.
6. Veg Biryani with Raita : 1 star, very poor biryani, it was a chicken puloa.
6. Pricing : 1000 per person
7. Ambience : 5 stars Neat and clean with descent seating
8. Toilets : 3 stars, never given 5 Stars ever, very clean and maintained.
9. SERVICE : 4 stars, pathetic
10. PARKING : 1 Star, for bike it was too narrow at the back of the building and employee vehicle took all space.
Car oarking can be equally challenging.
10. Wait time : Buffet was ready, chaoatis took no time to come.
TURN OFF :
1. Parking and busy locality
I visited zest for dinner on a weekday, it can accommodate around 70 people, luckily when we went, we got the last table, we went at 7:45, it was already filled. We tried calling them to reserve a table but the phone was switched off.
AMBIENCE is good, would liked some good music, but they didn't play any, all I could hear was loud giggles, people shouting as there were lot of group gatherings.
FOOD - I would like to give 4 stars, as mentioned there were lot of dishes, but not sure if it was 65+. Starters were served to the table, there were almost 8 varieties including veg and non veg. There is live chaat counter, the main course is served at the buffet counter. Everything was good except for the mutton curry, it was not cooked properly and was very hard.
The salad spread was great.
DESSERTS - Indian sweets were great, but the pastries were very dry and I was disappointed.
There are different options for drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic)with additional charges, but found it little expensive.
The staff were friendly and active.
Starters are freshly cooked and served on the table, tasty and quantity and varieties also more, for younger kids they even cooked non spicy on request which is great.
Coming to the main course it is buffet, all good items seems yummy because it was not possible to taste all the dishes as the spread is more, veg and non veg are appealing and the display also clutter free. Foods are kept on the induction stove, some used earthen pot.
Just feeling good having dine out in this place. Salad displays are visually so appetizing and lot of varieties of course, if u are salad lovers this is the best place.
And at the end for the sweet tooths, deserts are the best, fruits tart, pudding cake, Indian sweets, fresh fruits, payasam etc. What else you need. Just visit this place ,I am sure you are gonna loved the food, and service. Hospitality is great.
Last but not the least, washroom is neat and clean, well maintained, waste wet tissues are removed immediately from the trash, big thumbs up to the HK team. Smells good even in the washroom, thanks for maintaining the hygiene.
Went to year end team lunch, ambience and service was good. decent food
Zest is a culinary haven, seamlessly offering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian delights. Our dining experience was elevated by Ms. Achin, an attentive waitress whose exceptional service added a personal touch to our meal. Zest impresses not only with its diverse menu but also with its commitment to outstanding customer service.
P.S. Zest serves both veg and non-veg side by side.
One of the best buffet restaurant, they have tasty yummy food from starters to dessert , must try
Been to ZEST with family n everyone liked the food. The restaurant is not huge but they got decent food dishes...
You will like All chicken starters, ufcourse , All veg starters are very good
They got plenty Varieties of Cakes - u will love them
The food and the service is nice. We had team lunch and had a good time.
It was a really good place to have a peaceful afternoon lunch with a nice ambience. The staff there were also really helpful and responsive to all our needs. Especially, Rahul was one of the main servers who catered to us.
When it comes to food, they have good starters, chaats, soups, main course and superb desserts.I felt the flavours could be a little better and stronger. In half the dishes it had a flat taste, some could have used more salt whereas others more spice.
But overall the food was decent. There were a plethora of dessert options from jamun to pastries to pudding and but personal favourite goes to the "Milk Mysore Pak".
Later, the restaurant had a big group of foreigners visiting for lunch and that could be one of the reasons the food had a flat taste (you know how they are sensitive Indian flavours)
The place itself was pretty clean and I hope this helps you to make a good choice.
Went there for a group party and found the amazing yet affordable buffet place right in the Center of the city. Spice bazaar is super clean and hygienic place with amazing food available on the platters.
The staff was courteous and always smiling with an attitude to help the customers have a pleasurable experience.
The starters were good and served on table by the staff. Rest of the food was marvellous too, hats off to the chefs and catering staff.
Wonderful buffet experience. Loads of dishes. We had a good family time. But book before planning to visit through Zomato or calling them.
Spoorti was very helpful with food selection. Over all great experience! Must visit
A nice place for Team lunch with good food, great ambience and perfect location. Manager Rishikesh had arranged everything very well for me for my team lunch. The only down side is no AC. Its too hot during the day and the music is loud. The service can be better because the staff had to be told everything 3 or 4 times for anything needed. Otherwise a good place. I would recommend dinner instead of lunch as there is no AC.
Lovely ambience, great and yummy food.Excellent spread of buffet. Worth visiting this place again.
Very tasty and fresh buffet option for veg and non-veg. Wide range of desserts, chaat, and salad options are available. Recommended to book before visiting there otherwise you may not get table.
This was previously known as the spice bazaar, Spacious and plenty of natural light gives a good feeling. We opted for a buffet.
Pros - Decent variety of dishes, Bright day light, tasty desserts, peri peri chicken 🍗 was very good. Waiters will voluntarily ask for many rounds starters which is good.
Cons - Insisting on drinking water bottles, place can become very hot and uncomfortable to eat, we asked for roti and naan but never reached our table, The chicken biryani was not good. Lime soda 🥤 is not worth Rs 150 .
