Lovely place to visit specially at night time. I cannot explain the vibes ❤️ just go for it.
As for food mainly japanese and asian cuisine. Overall food is good but not as per the expectations
Dumplings are to go with. Tempura and Schezwan noodles are also good
The lotus oriental never fails to impress me. This time I opted for outdoor seating by the pool. Me and my family had a great dining experience with recommendations from Mr. Avishek. We had Tom yum soup followed by a lot of starters like prawn tempura, tori karage, pork and chive gyoza, steamed chicken coriander shu mai, garlic prawn dumplings. Each of them was fantastic. Mr. Avishek suggested we should go for jasmine rice and lamb rendong. It was awesome. The jasmine tea accompanied us throughout. Overall, it was a nice experience and thanks to Mr. Avishek who humbly treated us like his family.
My family and I had an amazing dinner at The Lotus Oriental. The ambience, the food and the service was spot on!! The Sushi was excellent. We also loved the silken tofu dishes (we ordered two of them) and the fried noodles. The deserts were fabulous especially the creme brulee. Abhishek was a wonderful host and even organized for a delicious birthday cake for my mother. We are definitely going back there again. Keep up the great work Team Lotus Oriental.
Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Kothanur. They have an amazing Dim sim buffet which boats of over 10 different variations. They also have delicious options to choose from in the nights. Some of my favorites include the New Zealand lamb chops, The Laksa and the Crab fried rice.. Also, the view is Magnificent and you have the option of dining inside or under the stars.. Ankit is a great host and always takes good care of us!
The best new Asian Restaurant in North Bangalore offering wide variety far-east flavours.
The Lotus Oriental @The Leela -Bhartiya City.
Awesome authentic Far-East cuisine from Thai, Chinese, Japanese to Malaysian delicacies.
Lovely ambience both inside and outside the restaurant. The outdoor next to the pool has a magnificent view of the Central Park of Bhartiya City, it looked spectacular with the buildings opposite all lit up!!
Special mention to Rhea and restaurant manager Reuben Kataria for attending and suggesting the dishes.
Must visit place for great food, hospitality, ambience, last but not the least eye catching cutleries.
Must try
Crispy fried lotus stem
Steamed chicken Suimai.
Thouroughly impressed by the food and quality of ingredients used here at the lotus pavilion. Fantastic food, brilliant view of the pool and beyond with service to match.
The only con might be the limited seating space.
A classy pan-Asian with a variety of items on the menu. We mostly tried the Thai dishes – Tom Yum soup, Chicken Satay, Shrimp Tempura, Jasmine Rice, Thai Red Curry and a dessert that was suggested to us (I forget its name). All items were very tasty, and were presented elegantly. The manager came around for a conversation, and gave some suggestions.
A perfect place for a relaxed lunch or dinner, with indoor and outdoor seating by the pool overlooking the greenery and high rises of Bhartiya City and the neighborhood.
If you like Thai-Chinese-Vietnamese-Japanese cuisines, you will have to visit multiple times to enjoy everything on the menu!
Wonderful poolside view. Loved the prawn tempura and pork ramen! Please also try the lamb chops ♥️
The Lotus Oriental (TLO) definitely my favorite and the best!
Everything about this restaurant is serene and quintessential!
The food is exceptionally curated to perfection embellished by the stark ambience and décor!
Everything about this place is surreal and definitely deserves three Michelin stars!
Great food and great craft cocktails. Kuldeep served us well and we had a great evening. Must visit dinner destination in Bangalore.
Good place for a dinner with wow view of pool and Bharathiya City. I liked the food and service. Outdoor table pool view is good to experience if u visit this restaurant. Minimal set menu for 2 of us costed around 8k with drinks. you can check for offers if you book table via EasyDiner app or any other coupons. Mist try place 👌
Outstanding choice of restaurant if you want a break from the local Indian cuisine. They have tables right by the infinity pool with view over the Bangalore skyline.
* Their charcoal grilled lobster is magnificent
* They probably have the best ramen in Bangalore
* The fried soft crab is out of this world if you like deep-fried seafood
* The charcoal grilled pork chops is the best I've every had. You can really tell it's special selected high end meat judging from the quality. Also it's slow cooked before put on the charcoal, so it's incredible tender.
Food - 4/5 (removing 1 star as the pad Thai was bitter... Yes bitter and because they don't serve hot water to drink.. An essential when ur dining out with kids and its cold outside)
Service - 5/5.. Special mention to anusha (who suggested d best dishes to have).. A big thanks to Kan (restaurant manager I think.. Was kind enough to replace d bitter pad Thai with an alternate dish)
Ambience - 5/5 (facing d infinity swimming pool.. So u get a grt view)
Veg options r limited.. Must try tofu in black pepper sauce, burnt garlic fried rice and veg Tom yum soup.. Worth a visit
We have visited this place twice and both the times we were very well greeted, taken care and given very special attention during our entire meal time. The outdoor seating is fantastic, great view, making it an amazing dinner for both professional and personal events. Both the time we were very well taken care by Mr. Avishek, his attention to our needs were detailed and ensuring the maximum customer satisfaction.
Awesome ambience n had very nice food, v ordered Thai n prawns, it was very good and also Mr Avishek n other staff took good care of us,
I would recommend this place n also love to visit again
Went for a laid back dinner to the lotus oriental at the Leela, bhartiya city, and had a most wonderful time. The ambience in the evening was perfect, we have completely avoided closed restaurants during the pandemic, and this was perfect. Bangalore evenings are anyway divine, and the poolside locale and surroundings make for a pleasant setting.
We ordered some Sushi, Dimsums mains and desserts, and while everything was tasty, the Sushi was outstanding. The duck crepes from the Chinese new year menu was also very good. The Asian flavored Brulee also deserves special mention.
The Asian flavored drinks we ordered were good, but some needed a little tweaking and it would be good to add Asian beers like at least Asahi, Tsing Tao, Singha, etc.
The surprising thing was the price point, which was comparable to the good restaurants in town.
Definitely a place we will go back to.
