A hidden gem. The name does not do justice to the cuisine served. Authentic Persian food served by Iranian owner. The food can be adapted to be made vegetarian too. Many dishes are delicious. I leave every time with a sense of warmth and good hospitality. This is a place to come for something different.

A unique cafe which serves Persian food. Nice ambiance. Very tasty dishes and beverages too. Loved their homemade ginger ale. Tried Persian pulav for the first time, it comes with gravy loaded with exotic veggies, and rice was bit sour as they add some sour berry. All may not like it but we liked it very much. Starters are must try! We don't prefer spicy food so this cafe was perfect for us. And it's kids friendly too. Only thing we didn't like is their desserts. They are mostly cream and maida based and not our kind of desserts.

Very unique sophisticated little diner serving iranian persian food. The cook himself sits and takes your order. The vibes are great with persian live music. The food is unique. It closes early at 8. Definitely give it a go for a peaceful experience.

This is one of the best Cafes I've visited in Bangalore in recent times. Housed in a peaceful quiet little neighborhood, this place has a beautiful unique ambience with some antique items on display and soothing Middle-Eastern music. They specialize in Persian-Iranian cuisine. We tried the Spinach cutlets, Quesadilla, Turkish Omelette and their special teas and coffee. Food and service was excellent. The owner and his wife were very friendly and were happy to show us around and let us click some pictures even after a long tiring day at closing hours. Would suggest you to make a reservation before you go as it can get packed, especially on weekends. Highly recommended place to visit and would love to visit again myself!

First things first - it's a very beautiful cafe. Very antique, very quiet! It's the kind of place you could sit at for hours in peace and just do your thing. My rating is largely based on the aesthetic and vibe of the place. The coffee wasn't good. It was a task to finish it. The accompanying carrot was nice though. The menu was a mix of Turkish and other cuisines, and it might be worth checking out. It's certainly a hidden gem, because we stumbled upon it by chance - and the owner was curious to know how we found it. It looks like a place more frequented by locals. But if you're in the area, do drop by!

Beautiful quaint cafe with parsi and iranian food on the menu. The owner was a sweet chap who explained all the items on the menu and pushed us to try new items. He said he change their menu every once in a while based on the customer feedback. We enjoyed the tea, mirza and the custard the most. They accepted card payment for us.

A quaint little cafe tucked away in Richmond Town which will make you feel like you’re in Pondicherry. The menu is small, with a food mix of vegetarian and non vegetarian options, with some Iranian and Parsi specials as well. The place is cool, quiet and green, even on a hot summers day. The people are very sweet and helpful. A nice place to come on your own, or with friends and family. Parking could be a problem, and one might have to find a spot on one of the side roads. One thing to note is that they accept only cash.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Saanchi, a hidden gem that captures the essence of authentic Irani cuisine. Saanchi's commitment to providing an authentic culinary experience is evident in every aspect of the restaurant. The menu boasts a wide range of traditional Irani dishes, each prepared with meticulous attention to detail. From the aromatic saffron-infused rice dishes to the succulent kebabs and fragrant stews, every bite was a flavorful journey through the vibrant flavors of Iran. What truly sets Saanchi apart is the personalized service provided by the hosts. The staff members are not only knowledgeable about the menu but also passionate about sharing the rich cultural heritage behind each dish. They took the time to explain the ingredients used and the traditional cooking techniques, making the dining experience educational and engaging. The hosts at Saanchi go above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels like a cherished member of the family. Their warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm create a welcoming atmosphere that is second to none. I truly felt like a guest in their home, and it made the dining experience all the more memorable. The environment at Saanchi is another reason why this restaurant shines. In addition to the exceptional food, personalized service, and delightful environment, Saanchi also offers a range of flavorful beverages, including traditional Persian tea and refreshing sharbats. These delightful concoctions perfectly complement the dishes and add an extra layer of authenticity to the overall experience. Whether you're a fan of Iranian cuisine or a curious food lover looking to explore new flavors, Saanchi is an absolute must-visit. The authenticity of the food, the personalized service by the hosts, and the inviting environment all combine to create a dining experience that is truly unforgettable. I left Saanchi with a newfound appreciation for Iranian cuisine and a warm feeling in my heart.

This cafe is located on the terrace of a building that has an antique shop on the other floors. It is an open terrace with lots of natural light and a terrace garden. The chairs and tables are all old style wooden ones. All together it is really nice place to relax and have a coffee. The place has Irani and Parsi food and also some Italian and continental. The hosts are also really friendly and you get a warm welcome feeling. The berry pulao was really tasty. Would visit this place again to try out other dishes
