A super surprise, we traveled to Bhopal and Taj Ul Masjid was a definite visit, upon being asked about any restaurant nearby, this one came in highly recommended. A perfect joint to eat at post a good stroll at the masjid, Nerbada doubles up as a sweet shop and a restaurant. While the sweets are delicious and you might want to pack away some for laters, its the food, which is surprisingly delicious! We went all out not playing safe at all, and called for items we wouldn't have otherwise. So it was Pizza, Chinese, North Indian, Chaat, everything for us and to our surprise, it was all so delicious!
The grilled pizza, a unique concept for Bhopal, was pizza base cut in half and the toppings sandwiched between the two. The generous proportions of mayo, veggies and seasoning, and grilled perfectly to make it crispy, this grilled pizza will definitely be remembered. Even the chinese combo came with Manchurian, Spring Rolls, Noodles. Desi chinese at its best, we loved it.
Then it was Pav Bhaji, not the typical Mumbai kinds but still delicious nonetheless. The other highlights were Chhole Bhature, Raj Kachori, Dahi Samosa Chaat, and Paneer Sabzi Combo, each distinct and scrumptious! We loved it to bits!

Soft bread with crispy crust and very yummy filling . The spring rolls were ok ok type but pizza won my heart 😍 the restaurant is pocket friendly and loved by every bhopali 😋

I've ordered an 'executive thali' . They delivered it even before time. The food is soo good to taste, i mean every gravy/sabzi and daal is perfectly cooked, neither it was extremely spicy nor it tasted "phika/tasteless". Their matar pulao is also worth trying. I have always been a fan of their dishes and especially their paanipuriis and delectable faloodas. The thaali is well-packed and every item in it is so hygienically sealed. They never ever dissapointed me in delivering 'neat&clean' and hygienic food, because that is a priority for us. Thankyou nermada for remaining trustworthy and zomato for the quick delivery.🙂

One of the best but prices are inflated on Zomato. Taste & quality is upto the mark. They maintain quality. One star reduced 'coz of inflated price compared to what they charge at the restaurant.

I absolutely loved the curd they make here for the chaat! The creamy consistency and perfect sweetness was just amazing! We had the Raj Kachori, Dahi papdi, Dahi puri and pav bhajis. The dishes with dahi was really delicious! The pav bhaji and pani puri were average, can improve a lot on that.

Its a fine place to enjoy your snacks. But manohar is better than narmada. The problem with nerbada is they don't have green chutney. The quality of food is fine but it's cheap so I guess that would compensate it.
Whenever I am in the area and hit by hunger pangs Nerbada's mini meal is my go to thing. Its satisfying and budget friendly. Its simple food but with great flavours. Always piping hot and fresh. and the crispy flaky laccha paratha is unbeatable.

It is one of my favourite places. It is my family's go to place since I was a little kid. I just love it. Chole tikki is delicious and so is the gol gappe. The grilled sandwich is tasty, affordable and filling. Totally love it.
Rush hours throughout the day. One of the famous and oldest restaurant in Bhopal. It has 2 branches in Bhopal, the other branch is in bairagarh. Love its thali and sandwiches. They also deliver food.
Usually would have their famous grilled sandwich on the go, but first time ever checked out their menu, which is pretty good overall. The rawa dosa is delicious and so are the Chinese options.
Sweets and snacks are incomparable and so are their shakes and kulfi's.

Aahh Nerbada sweetmart is the best in area.. They have best in house cooked sweets, and restaurant is also good... Masala dosa, pao bhaji, chhole bhature, but sweets are the best my fvrt besan k laddu.
I haven't been there ever, but every time there is an occasion in the family we'd get huge boxes of their sweets. My favourite remains their coconut burfi which I especially get packed every time I am travelling back home from Bhopal!
Also their namkeens! Especially the laung sev and lehsun sev! There isn't anything better than typical MP style namkeen ... Mix it with poha and you have a little piece of heaven in your plate !!! Yummmmmmmm

It being one of the oldest restaurant in the city many of us hold childhood memories of the place. Mine rushed in back when I visited the place recently, after a long time. I can fondly remember having dosa with my dad, who would patiently explain me how to use fork for dosa :D. It also attracts many students of that area for being pocket friendly, clean and offering variety.
Place definitely stands out for sweets and for me, my favourite "mango kalakand". They have pretty fine options in Chinese too.
Kothey, Dosa, Malai Kulfi, Kulfi Falooda and who can forget their chaat. One of the best Dahi Puris.
It's clean and fine place with a little ambience and average service. With lots of options coming up in Bhopal the place still has special place. Just few improvements would do no harm.

It's My most number of visited restaurant for past 8 years as its sort of canteen of our Gandhi medical college(besides our main gate), as we say old is gold so its food! Initially it was fast food restaurant which later started serving main course too! Though ambience is below average but that is balanced by taste of food, n if u visit here don't miss the special kulfi faluda n it's sweets!

This place have always been my refuge from the bad mess food served sometimes in my hostel.
Place is good. Service too is good.
Food is great, one can choose from a variety of dishes, and the nerbada thali is one of the best available in Bhopal, I have not found any other restaurant serving a better Indian thali.
The chaats and tikkias are good.
They have recently opened a sandwich shop which is also good.
Do try Tomato soup when you visit this place.
And finally those with a sweet tooth, this place is awesome, with a wide variety of sweets that are sold here.

It is basically famous for its sweets but the food is good too. the place is quite old and been in Bhopal for like forever. It is situated next to Gandhi Medical college and often you can find the doctors and students having lunch here.
this is one of those places where decor doesnot matter. The place is pretty hygeinic with tables and chairs thrown around.
During college days, we used to drive more than 15 kms just to have samosas and dhoklas here.
They receive lot of corporate orders for their lunch packages especially from government offices. My dad's office often have sweets and lunch packages from there. Distance doesn't matter. (My dad's office is like 10 km from here...still on all special occasions, they order from here)
Food: Samosa, Kachori, dhokla and all kinds of snacks are must try here...Of course with the hot juicy jalebis. Nobody eats samosa or poha without jalebis in Bhopal or whole MP. Its a crime! When discussed about the best samosa, we bhopali's can start a debate on that. Everyone has their favorite joint for that. The filling of samosa, the variety of potato (read mashed or cut into pieces), the level of spices, the crunchiness/thickness of the crust is all debatable.
Well Nerbada samosa are spicy and the crust is thick yet crunchy. The filling is spiced up with garam masala and has potato and peas filling. I wouldn't call them my favourite but my dad loves them.
They also serve all kinds of packaged snacks like wafers, mini samosa/kachoris, mathri, namkeens etc.
They have a separate sitting area where you can order south indian, north indian and even chinese food. i have tried pav bhaji, masala dosa etc and found it pretty decent for the price.
Go for the amazing samosa, jalebis and SWEETS!!

Okay this is my uncle's restaurant but still I believe in giving impartial review.
This place started with a sweets shop which were and are brilliant.
Gradually they started with restaurant serving South and North Indian and Chat as well. They were very great at that as well.
Problems started when the quality of the food deteriorated. The sambhar is annoying most of the time. Ambiance is not at all amazing. Chinese also is very chilly. But the Thali the serve is Brilliant. I wont deny the fact that there are some things that they excel in but then there are also some issues that need to be fixed. Indian Food is brilliant. The sweets they make are still superb and i love them. I visit this place very often and i just hope that they maintain the quality of food.

I've been coming to Nerbada sweets for more than 10 years now. I'll be honest, their taste was not that great, but they've grown as a renowned name and now they have a unique taste with good quality and maintain hygiene.

Narbada sweets have many branches all over Bhopal. The one at the station is the oldest one, as I was told. The shop is on road and there's no parking. The street is the one of the busiest Street of Bhopal. Shop is not very big but it had many options for sweets and snacks. Price was average and the snacks taste good. The shop also had food gift hampers for sale. Overall a decent sweet Shop in the busiest area of old Bhopal City.

Best sweets in town for sure. Varied veg cusine, big plus is reasonable pricing for food and snacks. After COVID, the outlet is not serving food with sitting arrangement (as on 10.05.2022) but takeouts are still available. Still one of the best quality offerings in town.

Fairly good place to have meals. Good for family as well as friends. Vegetarian restaurant. Food quality has decreased over time though. Sweets are really good. Also one can get snacks packed in boxes for an office party. Really good presentation of boxes. Usually open till 11 PM. Sandwiches and Chole tikiya are a must try.
