My favourite place in bhopal. Hongkong offers a menu in which every dish they serve is excellent. I hv tried almost the entire menu and no dish disappointed me.

I ordered a Veg burger and Filfora Special burger though I didnt find much difference in them but both were having a nice taste and even the size was huge(basically good for 1 person). It was filled with sauces which makes it more tasty
And then we ordered Chicken Noodles which were less oily and the taste was also okie in taste..
Ambiance- Ambiance was good enough, place was clean and hygienic.

It’s an amazing place . The correct destination for non veg lovers . The butter chicken is damn tasty and shami kabab , Biryani and phirni are a must try.
We had just went for the hotshot Shahi Tukda as claimed by all the blogs regarding food in Bhopal but it came accompanied by a plate of Galouti Kebabs too as well.
The Shahi Tukda was amazing as compared to it's price, whereas the Galouti Kebabs wasn't up to the mark. Although the meat was of very good quality but lacked in taste and texture. Of course, Lucknow is famous for a reason for it's mouthwatering Kebabs.
Great place to have butter chicken in bhopal i think still there is no such restaurant serving butter chicken of this taste as they are doing Shaami kababs are also must try !! The ambience is good and the service is also good though the speed is bit slow

This place is the oldest cafe I remember in Old Bhopal . Serving good food from ages. Parking was an issue but now with Zomato that too got solved. Perfect Ambience for a date or gupshup

Try the Bhuna Gosht, Shami Kebab for sure. Don’t go in the afternoon they don’t have the entire menu available. Stay away from the desserts unless you like over the top fragrant and sweet, sweets.
Place is good for short bites and to hangout with friends and family. Good ambience. Ordered burgers at home. Worth the price and tasted good.
I've been ordering from filfora for years now and the place has never disappointed. The butter chicken is their best dish according to me and I haven't found a better version anywhere. Filfora does it best!
Delicious food we loved n enjoyed it. Nice flavour, proper cooked n awesome taste. Personally I recommended it. Try at least one time, I'm sure u like it.
Nice food, especially Chicken Biryani and Mutton Bhuna Gosht. These 2 items are the best ones in whole Bhopal. A must try for every non vegetarian.

Visited this place after a long time..and yes on weekends
..thought that have to wait for long time but luckily got a seat in 15 mins...the owner was prompt to welcome and was courteous...ordered shami kabab,rogan josh,chicken tikka,garlic nan with shahi tukda as dessert....mutton preparations were one of the best of the town..though chicken tikka was average and very dry..there biryanis were finished by 9pm..tht was a disappointment..but yah the dessert shahi tukda..yummy and must have..all this at around 800..v v pocket friendly..!
A must try boti kebab here . Cozy small outlet bylanrs of kohe fiza .. ordered mutton khada Masa gravy made specially that too was very gud . Quality of the mutton which speaks in volume n the aromanin the gravy was yummy . Boti kebabd was so we'll marinated with papapya pilp n infused in it the proper ingredients which was making the boti kebab a blend of all heaven it is ... Overall a gud experience a family place .

Food is amazing!! I especially love Mutton Roganjosh, Bhuna Mutton and Khada Masala Mutton. Its the best of all. And if you are a veggie, try fresh vegetable garden pizza. Everything here is so tasteful and fresh. Be it rotis or curries or biryanis. Apart from main course their desserts are just mind-blowing, particularly 'Phirni and Shahi Tukda.' If you are visiting this place don't forget to try these two. they are must at filfora. One thing which filfora should work on is their ambience. It can be little more cleaner and well managed. Sometimes the place is shabby and not properly cleaned. But in terms of food, its the best!!
And guess what its pretty economical to eat here, as both Shahi Tukda and Phirni costs Rs 35/- each, whereas all mutton delicacies might cost you around 200-210/-
I visited this place last evening and I am writing this review to let people really know what a hidden gem this place is in the quiet city of lakes.
Value for Money is the USP of Filfora!! This is a decent looking restaurant and food here costs much lesser than street food these days. I mean where will you find the best Shami Kebabs on earth for a mere Rs. 120 and a Roomali roti for Rs.8; I don’t even remember seeing this kind of costing on any road side food stall.
Speaking of taste, I can vouch that I have had the best tasting Shami Kebabs at Filfora, the Murg Rizala and the Biryani are great too! As seen in one of the pictures that I’ve posted their Chef has been awarded as the best Chef in M.P.
I wish I had some more space in my stomach(After gorging on three plates of Shami Kebabs :)) to try other things but I am sure I will travel to Bhopal again just to eat at Filfora!

Earliest and Fondest memories included ordering pizza and chicken every other day...They serve good and decent food.
They revise their rates every 3-6 months :(
My current favourite rather favourite from 4-5 years which has still made me going there is phirni... It's great! Inr 50/-(currently) per shikora... Worth trying for those who have a sweet tooth!

Located in the posh Koh-e-Fiza area of Bhopal,the place will definitely give you a chance to adore the area’s picturesque houses and old Bhopal vibes. There has been a lot of buzz about its authentic Bhopali cuisine lately. The entrance looks grand & eye-catchy facing the road, having glass walls showcasing the interior, very different from usual ones. However the outdoor seating turned out to be a disappointment, it clearly didn’t please as its photographs did.
It was noon time and the waiters were dizzy,bored not expecting anyone perhaps. They were too lazy to greet us with a smile or give us a table. The ambiance was different but lacked the luster because of the ignoring staff and no air conditioners working-A fan is not enough to beat the scorching summers of May! The menu card happily displayed the name of its chef who was awarded as the best lady chef by M.P Tourism with great enthusiasm I wish they could infuse the same in their ambiance. Coming to the food, bhuna ghosht was amazing-soft juicy pieces, well cooked, giving an enriched subtle taste of spices with every bite. It had less oil relatively which I appreciated. The Shami Kebabs were average-crispy outside, well-cooked inside(not too much mushy, nice thick subtly crisp),they were served with green chutney,lemons and onions. The expertise of making the right combination of all according to our palate will decide the fate of the dish actually. The thandi thandi phirni was soothing both in presentation and taste. Overall presentation was average, nothing special out of the box creative plating!
However, the restaurant is cost-effective, a factor which can make-up for the flaws to some extent. The dishes will definitely satisfy your taste buds 😊Robin Philip
Whenever I come Bhopal dis is d restaurant I cnt resist withot goin thr. The food here is superb. Whethr u try chinese, muglai or fast food all taste yum. Location is good with good interior. The only drawback is dey tke alot of time to place d order and quantity is too low fr evrythng as compared to price.

Looking for Bhopali food....well this is your spot. You can enjoy typical Bhopali food here and at the same time you do not have to be in a crowded old city market streets as this restaurant is located in a good neighbourhood - Koh-e-Fiza.
Restaurant is set up on two floors with sit down / family (air conditioned) area on upper ground and take away area on the lower ground. They have a pretty long menu with a few chinese and north indian dishes. All starters off the menu is usually available but for the mains they typically have only 1-2 dishes availbale which are displayed on specials menu board at the entry. For the first timers it comes as a shock that why most of the dishes are unavilable.
So we orders a Mutton Burger which typically is a Shammi Kebab burger. Give you a feel of a typical road side burger with coleslaw, ketchup and very thick bun. I personally did not enjoy it as the bread was too much as comapred to the amount of Kebab. The ketchup and coleslaw was also a put off for me. On the other hand the shammi kebab were good as usual. Good texture and the mix of the kebab is as authentic as you can get.
For mains Bhuna Gosht and Roomali was amazing. Golden brown in color the gravy was smooth and taste perfect. Mutton was very well cooked. Pre set Shahi Tukda could have been better as I could taste Ghee (thickened due to refrigeration) in every bite.
Just be careful with the bill at the end. It has been a trend where atleast one item is always missing from it.
We had ordered chicken kadhai and paneer butter masala. The taste was awesome and I would like to recommend this to vegetarian and non vegetarian people as well.
Located in a quaint corner in Kohefiza ......What food what aroma and at what affordable prices ......I ordered the Biryani, the Shahi korma and some kababs each and every thing was done to perfection Haven't eaten such simple yet so sofisticated non veg food in a very long time ...The pride of Avadhi and Bhopali cuisine is served here ....Firni was excellent I can eat here everyday given an opportunity
Never disappoints. Shami kebab a must try. Justfying its name in Mughlai Cuisine. Love the Chicken Mughlai here. Complete 3 course non veg meals for 2 in under 800 without taxes.
Filfora is the best place in town for non-veg food lovers in Bhopal, but I am talking only about the kebabs and the curries, etc. I have no idea about the Chinese and the more 'western' part of the menu (which is really not the point of Filfora).
This review is only about two dishes that I recently had- Chicken Burger, and the Chicken Shawarma. The Shawarma was quite good (although, not quite authentic I suspect) with soft chicken pieces and the tasty sauce wrapped up in a really nice roti. But the Chicken Burger? Oh. My. God! (Janice style) It was so, so, so tasty! Nothing like it in Bhopal- it is actually a kebab burger, a delicate, melt in your mouth kebab topped with coleslaw and sandwiched in a huge bun. They could go a little easy on the coleslaw and let the kebab be the star because it kind of gets a bit lost in the coleslaw. Other than that, yum!

This is a Must Visit Place whenever I visit Bhopal. The City of Lakes has this amazing place which specialises in Mughlai food!
Simple place, good ambience! From the soft Roomali Rotis to the Mutton Sheekh Kebabs, all were a pleasure to eat. Chicken Raizala was good! However the Chicken Biryani lacked the masala. It was plain flavoured rice and some chicken pieces. You could only have a slight taste of Biryani. I guess it was the only thing which was below average. Second thing was they were running out of many dishes which I wanted to try! It was lunch time. I do not know about Dinner services. So there were limited number of dishes which were left to try.
Firni is obviously a must have dessert before you leave this place. Not too sweet, it had just the right amount of flavour and consistency!
Staff and Pricing would always be on your favour! A good place for all Mughlai lovers!
P.S: You will have to keep a count on your calories because it all tastes good and you will end up having more!
I tried mutton keema with Rumali roti and it was really good, with very balanced spices. Service is good but ambience is not so great
We tried Hot Spot at Filfora today. Wish they install few AC's because the coolers aren't enough during the hot season.. Otherwise it's THE place for the yummiest NV fast food and innovative desserts.

Coming from Delhi to explore local cuisine of Bhopal.
Was searching for place to eat good traditional muglai non-veg. Checked with local friends and internet, both suggested Filfora as a place to must visit.
Went with family, basic sitting arrangement. Don't expect anything lavish or event beyond normal, that was fine with me as we came for food here.
Place should be clean and free of clutter, that basic need was in place.
Menu was having Chinese and few other options, which actually puts me off as a place which expertises on muglai non veg, should avoid mixing of cusinies.
Now coming to Main topic of food, ordered the following
1. Chicken clear soup
2. Galoti kabab
3. Chicken biryani (as mutton was over)
4. Chicken rezala
5. Mutton khada masala
6. Butter milk (comes from another restaurant)
7. Lemon soda (comes from another restaurant)
8. Sahi tukda
9. Garlic naan (khamiri roti is not made here)
1. Chicken clear soup was good, but could have been much better if salt could have been less.
2. Galoti kabab was biggest disappointment, was hard and not at all melt in the mouth that I was expecting. Neither did it came with its own roti. Though the mutton taste was good in it.
3. Biryani was very nice, missed the mutton biryani though.
4. Both chicken & mutton dishes were good, personally liked rezala more but few other liked mutton one.
5. Rest others are as usual, lemon soda had much more ice content than required. Sahi tukda is pre-made dish, and tastes little different than we get at other place.
The portion size are decent or rather pretty good. Tolerable spice level for kids.
For 6 ppl, the food was just right. Had some over eating too.
Service was good, not much waiting.
Visit the place for good food and biryani.
