Well maintained and clean station in the capital city of Madhya Pradesh.

AC waiting rooms with well equipped charging points is definitely another positive aspect of this station.

Have also heard that soon in near future it is also going to have metro station 🚉🚉🚉, which if it gets then it will be huge boost to public transportation system of Bhopal City and also for Bhopal Junction.
Bhopal junction has improved a lot post-lockdown. The police are always on and keep an eye on everyone. They also ensure there is etiquette and no one sleeps on the platform. They have a waiting area where passengers can rest. The washrooms are clean and appropriately maintained.
There is a kid's zone behind platform No. 1. For newlyborn babies, there is a feeding cabin… absolutely amazing… India is progressing…
With proper parking, elevators, wheelchair access, mobile charging points, and drinking water, they have almost everything to meet passengers' requirements.
Well cleaned well maintained junction in Bhopal. Actually Bhopal junction is most important junction between Mumbai to Delhi root. well maintained neat and clean toilets and waiting rooms are available here.
Renovation is done now , automatic stairs, food court, rikshaw stand, sitting arrangements are such a best .
Bhopal Junction is one of the cleanest railway station with a well maintained and easily accessible waiting room (AC).
There's lift (in working condition) connecting each platform which is very helpful while travelling with aged parents.
Some dirty people must be penalized as they keep spitting everywhere, see pic of the lift.
Clean drinking water area is not very clean😁. Must be improved.

The station has 6 platforms in addition to enough waiting halls, refreshment centre, passenger ticket counter and ticket vending machines, vehicle parking, communication facility, sanitary facility and dedicated Government Railway Police force to ensure security.

Earlier it was like a small town railway station but now it's well developed but space is little like earlier.
As it's on PPP model so very neat and clean and food options are also available in plenty.
Can found local transportation all day and night.

Outside the station low priced tea, poha of good quality available, escalators available to reach station Foot main over bridge which is giving access to all platforms, stalls available at platform. Good experience overall.
Neat and clean place, with good waiting room. Police security is also good. Beggars may disturb you. So many good and cheap restorent is in front of Bhopal junction station. Tea cofee and washroom service is nearby available. Some decoration is looking cool here. Near bus stand name is Nadra ,where you can get bus for so many places.
Not so much busy. Rest rooms are cleaned and not so much crowdy also. Staff is cooperative.Nearby market is also cheap.Cloak room available.Retiring room facility is also available.Medical store is available at PF No. 1. In 1984, the station was affected in Bhopal disaster, when toxic gas fumes from a nearby chemical plant leaked. In the station, staff, passengers, people fleeing the gases and other persons present died and were injured from inhaling these gases. Station staff still tried to alarm nearby stations not to send trains towards Bhopal. The station master made a stationary train, the Gorakhpur to Mumbai Express, leave immediately ahead of departure time to save the people on board.
