The packaging was pretty good and clean.
The food tasted quite fresh and delicious. It was hot and freshly cooked. Personally i was very much satisfied after eating the masala dosa so i would definitely recommend this place for south Indian delicacy.
Tasty and healthy breakfast
Idly - Great. Absolutely loved the freshness
Masala dosa - Average. In the description tab , it was mentioned that it’s served with Sambar, white chutney and the red one. There wasn’t any red chutney , which was disappointing. Sambar didn’t taste great either. However the dosa and white chutney were good
Awesome food and super delicious.. They provide huge in quantity.. I wait for its South Indian thaali. I suggest everyone to try once from here, I bet you'll not disappointed by this restaurant.
The ambiance is just like a typical South Indian restaurant without much into decorating. Friendly staffs.
Great thing, it has variety of authentic South Indian food. Not like other South Indian restaurants in Bhubaneshwar.
Dindigul Mellige Idli is a must try. The make sure to add ghee with lots of love. We were looking forward to try the pineapple kesari, apparently, it wasn’t available.
I hope they have it when we visit the next time. :))
Apart from the cost thing It is a really nice place to grab a breakfast or an authentic south Indian meal. Being honest its hard for a student to pay 36 Rs. for two pieces of Vada who will look up to this place as a Go to place. But even if it's a bit expensive it maitains the Taste and hygiene of the food being served. Not a fancy place, Go here to get some food here.
Best place for south Indian dishes.. Had podi msla dosa, paneer masala dosa ,curd rice, chana n coffee.. Dosa dishes are so delicious..price also reasonable.. Staff are friendly.
Although the interior of this place was not very good, but taste was good indeed. If you are looking for sime good South Indian food, then do visit this place. Must try:idli fry & paneer masala dosa.
The sambar available here is one of the best in Bhubaneswar. It contains a lot of South Indian food...the idli Biryani available here make the Biryani lovers crave for it
This is one of the last mile resort restaurant for me. It never disappointed me . The price is bit at the higher compare to the quantity but it's worthy in a while when my south Indian taste buds start tingling.
Onion masala dosa, kottu Paratha and all the chutney 👍

Ordered idly biryani and it's the best veg biryani I ate so far! With just the right taste and ingredients! Everything's so balanced and heartful.
I had ordered Rava Plain Dosa. It was well prepared but as usual, the packing for Sambar & Chutney was in aluminium foil which was virtually impossible to open. They should add one more Chutney. Overall the order was good.
Ordered for the first time from this place.
Dahi vada - 4.5/5
(It was very sweet)
Papdi chaat - 3/5
(Nothing matches street chaat at RD Front.)
Buttermilk - 5/5
Food - 4/5
Packaging - 4.5/5
Delivery delay - 10 mins.
Will try South Indian dishes next time.
food is good n all...but the only south indian dish everyone here knows are idli and dosa...there are pleanty more! try to include those too...but whatever they have is good quality..if they improve the interior it can attract more customers...and please clean ur kitchen
The best place to have South Indian food which tastes authentic. Not a very fancy place though, but the food makes up for it.
Try their sambar vada.
Best south indian restaurant in patia and kiit area. Authentic food. Reasonable price. Nice service. It will never let ur expectations down.
Hi guys I am from Andhra Pradesh, here I am doing a course. I miss home food one day I have seen this restaurant and order a meals it is so good especially special meals. So try it. Special who are from Andhra
Today here i tried medu vada and guntur idly and i actually feel the authentic taste of South indian food here..Suprb quality and awsm taste but price is liittle bit high otherwise all ok.
Ok but Not fully satisfied.
If you're looking for some amazing South Indian at an affordable price then this is the place.
The Ghee Pongal and the filter coffee at this place is worth a try.
Someone who's not much into extremely sour food can also try their Koothu Paratha (which is by the way a Tamil dish)
My experience was quite good there. Ambience is like OK.
The only thing is dat self service.
And no doubt for food. The food was awesome.
please do Visit here.
The food is amazing... Exotic South Indian served & is pocket friendly as well. Must visit place for all.
Ordered one spacial south Indian thali .got 4 type of rice ..diff kind of curry .sweet rasam ...all in superb price ...I loved food I loved all ....srsly ....had a south Indian feast 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I have order onion masala dosa ...it was so delicious n d chutneys & sambar accompanied was awsm n pure south indian ....very tasty! Keep on ahead 😊
Serves really good south Indian doshes with their own style and touch. Idly biryani is a must try at this place. Puri with Chutney and kurma is my favv!!
Thali is not that good though. Still one of the decent places that serves good Dosa and Chutney. Waiting time will not be that much.
I have ordered two teas but got only one tea delivered:(
Awesome food, great taste, good variety and pocket friendly, great place to relish South Indian delicacies. Great ambiance as well, good place to go with family and friends.
I'm a South Indian and I love you! In Bhubaneshwar this is one of the very few places that gives you authentic south indian dishes. The dosas are really tasty and the sambar and chutney were authentic as well! And by Bhubaneswar standards for South Indian food, this place is actually decently priced. I recommend all South Indians to have a go at this place. Trust me on this one.
Good place for taking South Indian food. There are plenty of varieties. You can choose from these wide range of varieties. Price is little more, still it's OK as the food quality is too good.

Good place for South Indian food...lacks ambience but the food preparation is better than it's competitors. Other than south Indian food you can also try the chaat's...they r quite mouth watering.
Our almost first preference for south Indian food ,wen v dwell around patia..
Reasonable price
upma, idli, dosa are mostly available, they don't serve rava idli or dosa which is Little disheartening but then it's OK we have few more choice
And they just take 5 mins to serve u from the time u give ur order which is absolutely appreciative
The best Sambar and the best Dosa. I've visited Idli Bhawan the only they need to improve is quick service on the table. Sometimes it takes too long to bring the food on the table. Otherwise ***** for the taste.
Best south indian food in budget.. Simple, tasty... The place is clean. And the location is good. Quick service. Loved the idli biriyani and the chili idli!!
I have a great experience with Zomato .Totally loved it.
Had been there couple of times. It's a bit difficult to find during night time.
But once there, you can enjoy the South-Indian foods. All types of meals served from breakfast to dinner. Dosas are good and so are the paronthas.
I ordered masala dosa,Taste was good but quantity was little less
Being a person who was brought up in South India, I ordered a masala dosa with not too many expectations building inside me but i must say, the dosa was actually a lot better than i expected. It reminded me of the dosas i ate back at home. It refreshed my memories. I'll definitely eat from here again.
Got the Taste after 8 Years - Not in Andhra Not in TN - But in Odisha's Bhubaneswar - The Tongue Felt the same and took me back to my College Days - Where in my Hostel and in the City i used to have the Same Delicious Dosa and Idly and Sambar Vada- Was in Chennai- Kakinada - Vijaywada - Hyderabad ----- Now i lucky to have the Taste in near my home BHUBANESWAR
Very good dosas (Rs70-90). Has some sour flavor that may or may not be liked. Ordered paneer 65( Rs. 120), which was a mistake. No taste or very less coating of coloured batter. It wasn't a paneer 65. Being an authentic South style restaurant, this dish should have been their trademark. Disappointed but ready to visit again only for dosa.
Food was served quickly as there were only 2-3 other customers.
Best south Indian in town they always serve hot and fresh and if you compare price is really reasonable.
Small yet best place to have authentic South Indian food with such a pocket friendly budget... Man where you'll get idlis in just 35/- ... We were 2 PPL and we were just full within 200/-. Exceeded expectations... Want to come over and over again 🥳
Hands down, BEST place to try out South Indian Thali!
If you ever have the cravings for trying out South Indian thali in Bhubaneswar, just go to this outlet.
The food is beyond tasty. The staff is super friendly and extremely accommodating. The place has ample space for parking for 2 & 4 wheeler.
We tried the thali and curd rice, and I must confess, I wanted to eat more. And what great pricing!
Definitely, must try!
This is quite a basic south Indian restaurant. This place offers both takeaway and dine in. The taste is quite average. And they have fine parking space. The staff are very cooperative and cordial. The staff are friendly and polite. They serve in time. Dinning area might not be very lavish but the price and quality of food is average. The price have just recently changed in the menu. Moreover the place looks finely hygiene.
The food we ate:-
Guntoor powder idli(podi idli)-⭐⭐⭐/5
Normal idli-⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Vada shambar- ⭐⭐/5
Coffee-⭐⭐/5
Vada wasn't soft and not flavourful
Podi idli lacked Desi ghee
Normal idli ,chatni was delicious
Coffee could have been better but it's good . The store is open from morning till the night and u will get everything throughout the day
In Bhubaneswar you will find lots of options for South Indian Cuisine. Starting from street food to fine dining South Indian foods are almost available through out the city. But only a handful of restaurants provide the best quality and Idli Bhavan is one of those restaurants. I have been visiting this restaurant for the last 4 -5 years. And my experience has been good.
Today I decided to have my breakfast here and visited there with one of my friend and that too after a long time. Ordered idli, dosas, coffee and halwa. Taste is good as usual. No change in quality of food which is a good thing because in my opinion one must try to increase it, if not at least maintain the same quality . Service is bit slow and I hope this could be developed.
Really good South indian food. The service is good. Affordable, not so expensive though.

The take away service is top notch. But the dine in experience needs some work to be done. Tables were not clean, the food was cold. It looked unmaintained.
Taste: The masala dosa was a delightful treat for the taste buds. The crispy, golden-brown dosa was perfectly complemented by the flavorful potato masala filling. The combination of spices and herbs used in the dosa and chutneys created a harmonious explosion of flavors.
Presentation: The dosa was presented neatly and securely in the takeout packaging. It retained its crispiness, and the accompanying chutneys and sambar were packed separately, ensuring the dosa stayed fresh and didn't become soggy during transport.
Service: The restaurant's service was efficient and prompt. My takeout order was ready on time, and the staff were friendly and helpful in answering any questions I had. They ensured that all the necessary condiments were included with the order.
Overall, the South Indian restaurant provided a satisfying dining experience with their delicious masala dosa. The combination of great taste, thoughtful presentation, and excellent service makes this restaurant a go-to choice for South Indian cuisine enthusiasts.
My wife loves the dhai vada here. This is the one of the only legit places in Bhubaneswar where we could relish some South Indian delicacies. We missed the south flavours after moving here from Bangalore. However this place looks promising. We still have to try other stuff on the menu.
Edit:
Tried the paper dosa roast, it went well with the different chutneys and sambar. The sambar is good enough and can be considered close enough to what we get in the south. We requested for filter coffee as it’s a must after meal. The staff didn’t have coffee at that moment however took the pain of making it specially for us. We were elated to enjoy our dosa and finish it off with hot filter coffee. Kudos to their customer service.
As a South indian, i really enjoyed the puri here... Other dishes also have a wonderful taste and feeling
If you want to eat proper South Indian thali then you can definitely eat it here. I like it very much
