The tandoori could've been more tasty.. but the lollipop tasted so yummy.. I just loved the taste. ❤ Great experience with Mirch masala.
So generally is a decent place. The food has been good. But past few times the quality of the food has been really bad. It’s just become very shabby. The peanut masala was bland and looked stale. The aloo dum was so sweet inspite of requesting so.

Perfect place for Indian food in twin city.
Yummy and testy food , we never had another place.
We visited this place last month with my family.
We really enjoy with lovely food,
Perfect service, They know how to treat customer.
Lovely ambiance.
We recommend all come and enjoy.
It is a very beautiful place and it gives very delicious food. All the staff are friendly. Their staff are well behaved. I liked paneer, musroom and naan
Organised a team party here with buffet. The buffet menu was actually pretty good considering all the dishes we were provided with. The prawn curry, Bali prawn, crab masala and mutton Biryani tasted great. Not that much of a collection for dessert but still I'll give a 3 for dessert. Had hearty launch that day.
Absolutely RECOMMEND this place!!🙌🙌🙌
The ambience is warm and cozy. The staff is lovely and service is great!
It's a good place to spend time with your family and friends!!😊
Ordered the following:
Starters - Salt and Pepper King Size Prawns,Tandoori Murgh and Pili Mirchi Kebab.
Main course - Tandoori Roti,Butter Chicken Masala, Veg Noodles and Prawn Biryaani.
LOVED the food!!!!🙌❤️
Tandoori Murgh was the best!!! I will always order this whenever I go!😍
All the other items were equally good!!😍😋
The only reason I've given a star less because the entrance to the hotel has a number of steps that makes the access little difficult for the elderly and differently abled people. I am not sure if they have an alternate entrance to the place and as it was my first visit, I may have missed it.
Otherwise, I absolutely recommend the restaurant, it's totally worth the visit!!🙌
Good spread of buffet. Nice ambience and polite staff. Worth a try if looking for buffet in city. But definitely missed Ice Cream in the buffet.
Mitch masala !! This name somehow attracts me. The ambience and interiors are beautifully light and is perfect for fine dining. The food is good though we found a lack of salt in some major dishes. It's speciality is peeli mirch kebab and we loved it. Also the lasooni naan has been one of my favourites. With soothing old music enjoy your evening in Mirch masala.
The ambience is good. Food is not great. The only positive point is the service of the hotel. The staff is courteous and very cooperative. An average family joint.
Heard a lot about its buffet so thought of giving it a try.
Ambience was nice.
Staffs were courteous and active.
Buffet spread was scrumptious,
●Starters were awesome but they didn't refill fish finger even after asking and waiting for 15min.
●The main course had a lot of varieties, chicken dum biriyani was superb only turn down was the mutton masala which wasn't cooked properly.
●Desserts spread was good nothing exceptional but was satisfying.
Price Rs. 800/- per person inclusive of tax.
Overall a good place to have buffet.
Looked a very decent place on entering, but the welcome greetings and a warm environment made me comfortable very quickly. The prompt and courteous hosting by the staff and amazing singing (Mr Rony) made the experience more worthwhile. Whilst enjoying the other than food services, the welcome drinks, starters (soup, hara bhara kebabs and afgani Malai chicken kebabs), the kashmiri pulao and dum aloo were truly mouth watering and appetizing. A definite recommendation for a visit with family and friends.
Awesome food ...fresh all the items..one of the bestest in town .Try the buffet or you may go for alacarte..varieties of non veg as well as vegetarian food.
A place which never fails to make my taste buds happy.
American corn fry and dal makhani served here r out of this world. Service is very very good and the ambience is soothing. Warm place with warm people and excellent food. Most important prices r very competitive.
Nice place for North Indian food lovers. My all time favorite. We were too late and still they allowed us for Dine in. Located in the heart of the city in Marrion hotel. Very easy to access.
We ordered Paneer lababdar, Masala Kulcha and Butter Naan. Paneer preparation was delicious and masala kulcha was a perfect combination with that. Naan was also soft.
Ambience was nice, especially the hanging lamps. Service was great and people here are very polite and very friendly.
Definitely a good place in bbsr to have non vegetarian delicacies. Chicken Taipei, chicken Malai tikka and drum of heaven are a must try. With good ambience fuelled up w polite staffs makes it one of the best places to eat in the city. :)
This place has never disappointed me ever. The consistency of food taste here is unparalleled.Anything i have ever ordered here is extremely delicious and awesome.Service is really good too.👍👍👍
For appetisers we got the baby corn, spring rolls and paneer tikka. The starters were alright. For main course we ordered the black dal and malai kofta along with garlic naan, lachcha parantha and roomali roti. The lachcha parantha was the best thing ever. Just loved it. The dal and kofta were good as well.

Overall good place... . Good food.... Good live music.... Good service.... . Awesome ambience. Family environment. One of my favorite place....
A quite place on main road in a hotel. The decor is some what old and tired. There was a 3 person band playing Hindi music. Staff was attentive and always at service which made up for average food. For two beers, breads and two veg dishes I paid ₹1600.
A great family restaurant that offers various cuisines and buffet services.
The ambiance is very comforting and so is the staff.
The service is a little slow but the food quality makes up for it.
An ideal restaurant for a family outing or even for a frnds day out. The place has got a very nice vibe to it.It is not overxposed to light ,derefore u got ur privacy thing..Service is gud... dey also have a buffet, though i wud suggest u rather get something from d menu..Dey hav got a nice range of dishes from indian, continental to western.. So far,i hav mostly tried indian.. d non veg dishes r quite gud.. dey can improve on veg ones.U also get live music sessions from professional sitar players and tablas occassionally... soothing to the ears... Though d price is on a higher side.. its worth in my opinion..
I went for the ongoing sizzler festival. Although the sizzlers were good but the sea food sizzler disappointed me!! The chicken stuff sizzler was truely mesmerising .
Intro - Mitch Massl is Hotel Marion's Indian Cuisine Restaurant.Decent ambience
Food :
Chicken Tikka
Chicken Fried Rice
Lemon Chicken
All of them was good - nothing extraordinary
Decided to have a family outing on one fine rainy day in June....decided to go through a vegetarian affair. The place was nearly full on a weekend and i think the food was excellent and would be one of the best place in Bhubaneswar for Indian Cuisine. We ordered our soups. breads and some awesome desserts. This place is best suited if you are a non vegetarian. They serve alcohol as well..but you still get a separate place for the family audience and and the waiters were courteous and apt in recommending the right choice of curries.Live music on weekends does add a feel to the ambiance.Rain + live romantic hindi music+ good food...what more can we ask for...must for a revisit.
So I had the buffet here which had two separate menus one including the wine and other one not.
The chicken soup was a pretty good kickstart along with some nicely sliced watermelons and the veg and non veg salads. The starters consisted of chilly prawn, dry chicken kebab and a fish. Veg included paneer tikka and fried aloo. Prawn was really delicious , chicken was good. Panner was decent. The main course consisted of rice , dal fry, butter naan, mutton biriyani, simple chicken curry, chicken manchurian, crab curry, fish besari ,muttor paneer, sweet and sour mix veg, garlic noodles and raita. Dal fry and chicken curry was pretty average. Chicken manchurian and crab was really good. Mutton biriyani was good and so was muttor paneer.
Dessert consisted of a variety pastries -chocolate vanilla, butterscotch and sweets like gulab jamun, rasagolla and malai sweet. They were pretty good.
I felt the lack of ice cream in dessert which is pretty essential for me in a buffet.
The overall food quality could be slightly better.
Ambience is good as well as the service.
Love this place.
Ambience 9/10
Service 9/10
Have gone for a drinks(alcohol) over there. You can get a good verity. & have tried desserts it was nice.
Buffet is good !! Deserts are awesome.........!! N the crispy prawn is tasty............!! Mutton is not that good but manageable!! Staffs are very prompt !!
MM at NM is one of NM's favourite in Bhubaneswar for Indian Cuisine. I always recommend it to people. Good tasting soups, breads and curries, there's hardly anything about this place which I don't like. Live music on weekends does add a feel to the ambience and it does make me smile every time they give a red rose to me (any girl who walks in to eat. Sorry boys :D)
A big thanks to Manger Manoranjan Mallik, for the service thay offered us, awesome hospitality;;.
Amazing range kebab you would get of eating followed with huge Buffets. the desserts are all so pretty good. hospitality and service was great........
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE definitely I will come se you soon Mr Mallik.
Thanks your team all so🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸🍷🍷🍶🍶
I have been to this place many times...It's d only destination when we are out for a family dinner.. ambience is good..Chinese cuisine is worth appreciating... Fish garlic was really too good..! Service is good..! Do try this place for a new experience!
Although very nicely located this hotel is averagely priced but service oriented. The decor seems excellent and the ambience is more or less attracting. The staff are well trained to attend to guest needs
I always liked the food of Marrion and I always had a pretty good time at Bling it on .So decided to visit this Indian Restaurant at Marrion.
The ambiance is good not great though, they that Indian feel to it.We ordered many Indian dishes starting from Malai kebab,Tikka ,Tangri ,Paneer tikka as starters and in main course we had Butter Naan , Pulao ,Dal Makhani ,Chicken ,Mutton and Prawns.
Taste was definitely good but I had more expectations as you are at Marrion and food here is delicious. So this was a bit of downside .The prices are high so you have to burn a lot of money if you want to have a big meal. The next part is Quantity which i felt was less as compared to other big restaurants.
The service was great definitely and you get alcohol so good to have quality time with friends here with a couple of beers.
Food- 3.5/5
Ambiance - 3.5/5
Service - 4/5
Value for money - 3.5/5
A great place to dine out. The ambience is awesome too. Quality of food is great but do not have very high expectations from the hype. The price is on the higher side which makes it a once in a while visit. The buffets here are the best deals to grab. The service is very very good , the staff here will make your stay homely.
I heard a lot about this place from local people of Bhubaneswar. So I went there with high expectations. The place is nice with pretty decent ambience. But the food was okay.
We commenced with Yakhni Shorba, which was okay. Then had murgh kalimirch kebab and chilli chicken. In main course, we ordered two different Biriyanis. Mutton and Chicken. The mutton was far better than the chicken one.
One thing which was really good was the service.
This place is a must eat... The staff make u feel at home... the food, well i am a regular here and have tried almost everything on their menu... everything is delicious... the drinks are a bit expensive though... the live gazal is nice... the crowd is good... overall a lovely place...
The buffet offered for breakfast here was pretty decent. They had a live counter for egg preparation and for dosa, they also offered cakes, various breads, corn flakes, idli, poha, noodles, baked beans, stir fry veggies, baked potato, pastries and even more! Staff are friendly and service good. Ambience is nice with bright interiors and long sofas and tables.for comfortable eating.
To point out the obvious, it's really, really pricey. But for that, you get a really classy ambience, impeccable service and great food. The Tandoori Items are good, Shorbas are pretty great. In starters, Crispy Corn is really nice. Do try the Murgh Makhan Mirchiwala or the Murgh Sufiyani. Really good place to go to with family.
This restaurant has decent buffet. The option for veg items is very limited when you go for ala carte the food is decent . The service is quick .
Excellent place to dine in.. The food here is perfect in everything.. Little bit pricey but taste compromises with everything.. Perfect ambience for restaurants like this.. We had chicken hot and sour soup, waldrof salad, chicken salad, gosht e mirch masala, prawn balachow ,chicken biryani(not in pictures),chicken tikka butter masala, kulcha and chicken salt and pepper.. The mutton was cooked to the perfection with succulent meat.. They used fresh prawns which were really excellent and fasted yummy.. Service was fast and the staffs were really good..
A fine dine place with excellent ambience and food quality. I was not at all complaining about the servicing either. The food, especially Dum Biryani was delicious.
The ambience is good. We ordered Mushroom(I don't remember the name of the dish correctly) and rogan josh, both were very good.If you are looking for a quite and calm place to eat good food on some special occasion, this is where you should go.
Had a good experience at the place with tasty buffet and good ambience. Mutton handi was a standout with other dishes equally good. The price of buffet is a notch on the higher side but still worth trying out
Happy dining! Ambience is great and the taste is superr :)
Murgh kalimirch kebab is too good. A must try thing for the chicken lovers :) 👌👍😊
Good Indian restaurant with simple ambience... They serve good food but yeah little pricey... I had a overall good experience... Chicken tikka was amazing... Biriyani was good.. I almost luv all the restaurants of Marrion...😁
I have been here only on birthdays because duh, it's too pricey. Ambience wise, it's too impressive. It's a pinch of Indian added to a bucketful of classy. Taste wise, it was really average. Nothing blew my mind. The naan and the north Indian dishes were pretty good though. So was the sizzling brownie. It's kinda expensive, nonetheless. And staff is cordial.
It was a pleasant surprise when I visited here for lunch few weeks back with my family. One of the finest restaurant in town.
The ambiance was great with nice decor & dim light. Hospitality and service added more to the great experience.
Coming to the food, we ordered - Mutton Rogan Josh, Chicken Tikka Lababdar, Paneer Hyderabadi, Peas Pulao, Kashmiri Pulao and Butter Naan. Each and every dish was perfect and had a proper North Indian touch in them. Special mention of Chicken Tikka Lababdar and the Butter Naan (quite different from other restaurants) which were good.
A great experience indeed!
Went for a friends reunion dinner here. Great ambience. Good service. Had drums of heaven, green salad, chicken salad, paneer hyderabadi, garlic naan, chicken tangdi masala and sizzling brownie with ice cream. Everything tasted really well and had the full desi touch. Very well balanced price. A definite recommendation to all desi foodies.
A pleasant surprise! This place scores on all accounts: ambience, service, food, value, billing and parking. A part of Marrion, we found it sparsely populated at 8pm when we walked in for dinner. We were attended right away. They took our orders immediately and kept an eye on us for further orders. Our order: Lemon Coriandar Soup & Veg Kebab for Starters, Garlic Naan, Khumb Lazeez & Dal Makhani for main course and Sizzling Brownie for dessert. The food was fabulous! Except for Veg Kebab which was just about okay, rest of the dishes were smash hits. Over the course of evening, people started trickling in but I would suggest a reservation to be on safer side.
The interiors are done in black, red and white which brought a subtle spunk to the place. But it can be a tad too dim inside which shines hardly any light on the food's visual appeal. A chandelier is suspended on each table but that doesn't do enough. Live Indian Music being played was a bonus! We visited on a Wednesday and I am not very sure whether the live music team is present on other days of the week.
A good place for a laidback conversation amid some great food.
Recommended.
Meal for 2: INR 1500 (Veg); INR 2000 (Non-Veg)
Nice place for a family buffet dine! Nice combinations of food! Starters are good, salads rock. The main course could have been better. The ambience is actually suitable and gives a tinge of feeling home! Service to s cool. I would recommend others to try it.
One if the finest fine dining restaurants of the city .... Slow music calms your nerves ... Food is good .... Serves Chinese and continental too but is renowned for its Indian cuisine ....
Note : Prawn salt and pepper A must have ...
Marrion probably has all the best in town restaurants. This one too is amongst the best. After kabab e que was closed it would have great if they could have merged the menu. The kababs are good but the variety is not as good as kabab e que. My favourite item would be Murg badam pasanda. If only food is concerned this a perfect north Indian restaurant.
A good number of options available in the menu for a reasonable price. The restaurant has an amazing ambience. Tandoor items are great. Especially the tangdi kebab.
Delicious I'd say!
The dal makhani, chicken lababdar, rice, malai kofta and the other vegetarian stuffs! The chef is doing a great job! Awesome food! Worth the money!
Everything is perfect to dine in. Right ambience, good service, nice hospitality & lovely food.
Everything was perfect to taste. Be it starters, maincorse or deserts. I would prefer to have northindian food there. Fruit caramel is a must try desert.!
Most preferred hotel/restaurant. Dal Maharani is the thing here. Live music and dinner, super combination.
Pro tip: always call for chef Ali when you are here. He will attend you, offer you varieties off the menu and you'll have assurance of good food.
The live singing and the ambience is the USP for me to come to this place. Of course the food is good and the place is nice for a family fine dining experience.
Great place to have delicious food. Visited many times and must say almost all the items/dishes are good. No complaint at all. If you want best briyani in the town then it is the right place to visit. The environment and music is attractive. Staffs & services are very nice.
Had a pleasant experience there, few years back. The food is tasty while the service and ambience are mediocre.
Located very close to the HHI hotel in BBSR so is easy to find.
Nice ambience. And all the items of fish are so soft, they melt in your mouth. Service could be better. Seating arrangements are good. Went with my family. Don't forget to order the Keema Dal.
Awesome food , great ambiance and especially the live performance. All together a great place to go for a date.
Excellent food and great service. Wheelchair friendly. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in town. Murg Tikka Lababdar was my favorite dish. Prices are on the higher side, but the food taste justifies it. Please note they do charge an 18% GST to the overall bill amount!
Mirch Masala is located at The New Marrion hotel . Food served here are very delicious. It has a very good ambience. Complimentary butter milk and pampad is served. A good variety of Indian Chinese and continental food is available. All dishes served here are very amazing and upto mark. Staff are good . Price is little bit high but there is no compromise in quality of food served here.
Food is delicious. We tried Pakhala Bhat, Paneer tikka, Dal, Rice and the top of all the CAKE.
Cake was fresh, yummy, delicious, spongy, creamy and simply wowwwww.
Staff is courteous, polite and offered superb hospitality. They arranged lunch quickly in a separate room since their restaurant was full today.
Would recommend this place for food and desserts.
Very good hotel with best ambiance
Best hotel in bomikhal for lunch the price is too good .You should go for lunch
I like the food 🍲. I really inspired the employees of the restaurant . Good atmosphere for all customer. 👍👍👍
One of the best places in Bhubaneswar to have Indian cuisine. No one makes chicken lababdar like mirch masala does.
The food is delicious and the service is good..
Thank you...😘💗
Lunch food, ala carte, was excellent. They also have a lunch buffet. Service was very good. Prices were reasonable.
