Everything was fantastic on the hotel front. Good food superb ambience......the service was ok....wht I didnt like is d fake promise of zomatto gold on b1g1....they posted the name of the hotel without consulting them.....they also cut 1 option even if I the offer was not provided to me.......
Well very good as compare to Swosti Premium, service is better food is of good taste, quality and quantity, service is fast but mutton items aren't up to as am fond of mutton and ordered several times but it's not soft, tender and juicy.Overall five star

The food is simply great here. The dal makhani was the best I've ever have had. Service is fast;Staff polite. The ambience is good, themed on ocean, ships and sailing. The lighting is a bit dark though.

Hotel swostis revamped lounge. As u walk in u are greeted by the blue lights n the circular water bulbs. This place is made to feel like a ship. The bar is well stocked and cleanly designed. I love hanging out here as this is the very few places that plays English music in town. Thou the music is more top 40s. Courteous staff well trained. My regular orders the nonveg assorted platter which ticks all the boxes to a happy stomach.
NYC but not that NYC..... A bar with a restaurant like ambience... Not too crowded neither loud music.. So doesn't exactly give the feel of bar... Good to spend some time drinking in a calm place
Been to Bhubaneswar for a quick visit and the day was highly hot. So for chilling off we decided to join Swosti Grand as its close to railway station .
SO we decided for Beer and had Kingfisher Ultra as per the Barman's Suggestion.
Chilled off with Beer as Bar was with great ambiance and Nice Place soak off coolness.
Will be there every time i will be in city or would like to stay there next.
From a hot days travel ,Would like to chill off at, Before Could start the journey feel have very light beer and , For it Hotel Swosti Grand was the best for it and Had asked for Draught Beer in Counter and The Bar Man Mr Promod was very cautious and suggested the kingfisher ultra .
It was perfectly superb and killed my de hydration and i prefer to go back every time at BBSR.
Visited Oceana while on business trip. It's cozy but the lighting is too dim.
Service is a bit slow. Dinner snacks especially fish preparations are good.
OK to visit twice on another occasion also.

Five of us had family dinner today at Oceana in Hotel Swosti Kharabela Nagar. I was visiting Swosti Hotel after 38 years. Things are now transformed into the Achchey Din Ambience.
Ambience of Oceana is now modern, colour scheme is blue; it is neat and clean, well cooled, spacious and gives a feeling of comfort.
This is a multi cuisine restaurant serving Odiya Bengali North Indian and South Indian style.
We ordered between five of us Jal Jeera for soft drink, Whiskey and Vodka to drink with Mushroom salt and pepper, Ajwaini Fish Tikka and Golden Fried Prawn as starters.
Chicken clear soup we asked for was however a damper. Hardly discernible flavor.
In Main dish we asked for Boston Baked Vegetables, Chicken Curry Punjabi style with plain Rice.
Starters were all well done - Fish Ajwaini was nicely and adequately spicy with Ajwain flavor just enough and Mushroom was crisp and tasty. Their Golden Fried Prawn is a signature item - very crisp well cooked just adequate size and very tasty.
In main dish Boston Baked Vegetables with rice was good. Chicken curry Indian Style with Masala was a little over spiced but was tasty with the rice. This dish was intended to be done in North Indian style but appeared done in Hyderabadi style
On the whole quantity was adequate for five and except for the Soup all items were appreciated by all five of us.
We enjoyed the meal and our time here.
Many new restaurants are coming up in Bhubaneswar - most have sprung up in the cheaper cost bracket - cutting cost and trying to serve tasty food - sometimes at the cost of healthy ingredients. The other category is in 5 star hotels. Hotel Swosti is an old home grown hotel here and has a tradition of serving good quality tasty food.
We were happy with eating here.
The bill for five of us was 4000/-. But for Achchey Din tax the cost could have been 20% less.
Must mention the very courteous service by the Waiters here. Very rare these days!

Nice place to unwind. Its expensive. If you don't mind the price, you should definitely visit and enjoy the food and liquor and hospitality.
This is the best pub in the city, hands down. Ordered a whole lot of stuff. Personal favourite, Shammi kebab and Reshmi kebab. In drinks, Screwdriver and Tequila sunrise. The staff is really polite, nice and helpful. Really impressed by that. The place is really overpriced. But, the ambiance, the food, the drinks and the quality time you spend here is priceless. Great place to just hangout with friends for a long time and catch up. The interiors are really cool and give you the feeling of being on a ship. :D
Highly recommended. But, if you're a student, plan well. The place is pricy.
P. S. One of the only places in the city that serve Tequila shots.

It is one of the better pubs in Bhubaneswar. The interiors are good and a pleasant change from the regular stuff available here. The preparation of food is good. The service can be better. And one sincere request please do not put flowers and plants inside the pub. Nevertheless its a good place to go once a while.
Perfect place for evening wine and dine. Food and services are very good. Interior also pleasant. One will certainly enjoy.
I liked the taste of the food here as being a North Indian it was difficult for me to get a good tasty food in Odisha and here I found the good taste that matches to our taste buds.
We had breakfast and even we came to have lunch here while we were not staying here so I hope you can understand how good was the food here.
Staff was also good and supportive. Ambiance was bit dull. Prices are on a bit higher side but that's fine I believe.

The restaurant is located near Masters Canteen chhak, Bhubaneswar. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice. The quality of food justifies the price. Order processing time is a little bit higher. Overall it was a good food experience. It is also good for family dining.

Nice place to have drinks and snacks in Bhubaneswar. Usually quiet and not very crowded. I like most of the starters here. The ambiance is good and they usually do not play loud music. Great to have business discussions or meetup with friends at this place.
The Bar is in the hotel Swosti near Bhubaneswar station square. The ambience is good and prices too. A little too heavy on your pocket. But if you are not too concerned about money it is a nice place to spend the evening. Food and snacks are good but nothing to die for . Overall a good place.
