I had an incredible experience at Avvas Cafe! This authentic South Indian cafe is a hidden gem, and it won my heart with its delectable cuisine and inviting atmosphere. My favorite dish was their special dosa – it was an absolute delight for the taste buds, perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with mouthwatering flavors. But the best part was the warm hospitality. As soon as you take your seat, they serve complimentary rasam and boiled channa, and I must say, it's a delightful touch that adds to the overall experience. The rasam is packed with spices and warmth, and the boiled channa was a pleasant surprise with its savory goodness. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming,I can't wait to return and explore more of their South Indian offerings. Avvas Cafe is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic South Indian flavors in a friendly and inviting setting. Highly recommended!

Visited Avva's for the second time on my trip to Bir, ordered a Basic Ghee Roast Masala Dosa on the first day and next morning we ordered a Cheese Pepper Dosa (it was v tasty) with a nice cup of filter coffee. Outdoor seating is bliss for the Winter season! The cafe is pocket friendly and offers tasty south Indian delicacies.

Must visit place if you are in Bir. It's a south Indian speciality cafe, with plethora of options and absolutely delicious food. The cafe setting is pretty laid back and rustic. There is a water stream around the outside sitting which gives a perfect white noise of flowing water with hills in the background. Each table has a QR Code for self ordering. Great experience overall.

AVVA's Cafe in Bir is truly a hidden gem when it comes to South Indian cuisine. I recently had the pleasure of dining there, and it was an absolute delight. The variety of flavors and the quality of the food exceeded my expectations. I started with the podi dosa, and it was fantastic. The dosa had a perfect crispness, and the podi (spice powder) added a wonderful depth of flavor. It was a delightful combination that left me craving for more. To accompany my meal, I ordered their cold coffee, which turned out to be a standout. It was refreshing, creamy, and had just the right balance of sweetness. It was the perfect accompaniment to my meal. The special masala dosa at AVVA's Cafe was another highlight. The dosa was perfectly cooked, and the masala filling had a delightful blend of spices. It was flavorful, aromatic, and satisfying. Additionally, I tried their medu vada, which was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was seasoned well and was a tasty treat. Beyond the food, the ambience of AVVA's Cafe is worth mentioning. The cafe exudes a nice and peaceful atmosphere, making it a pleasant place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. If you find yourself in Bir and craving South Indian food, AVVA's Cafe is a must-visit. From their flavorful podi dosa to the refreshing cold coffee and tasty masala dosa, their menu offers a delightful culinary journey. Coupled with a serene ambience, AVVA's Cafe provides an overall enjoyable experience that will leave you satisfied.

To my surprise AVVAs is the most authentic South Indian cafe not only in Bir but in Himachal. They serve you channa and rasam as a welcome drink which was a very very sweet & warm gesture. We tried the Mysore butter dosa, AVVAs special dosa, uttpam, lemon rice and kokum. I've never had something like kokum before in my entire life and I must say it was such a refreshing drink and is a musttt! The service was very good and quick. Overall AVVAs is definitely worth a 5/5😊.

Amazing south Indian food in Bir ? Yes, it has. They have good seating space with indoor seating outdoor seating having great views of farms. You can order with QR Codes placed on every table and only problem is that it shows the total bill of the table and you can’t pay it individually if you want. You get “Chana Rasam” as a complimentary meal in beginning. To be honest, it tastes real good and if weather is cold, it is even better. You can order it separately at 80 INR. Tried 2 items from their menu - 1. Onion Uttapam (150 INR) - great taste and good quantity 2. Medu and Dal Vadai (140 INR) - they give 4 pieces so asked them to give 2 pieces of dal vada also. Dal vada was okayish. I have heard their gun powder dosa is good, will try it next time. Date of Visit - 4th June, 2023

Food is pricey but its the best option available in Bir for South Indian food. Service is not up to the mark. The 'Chana-Rasam' served complimentary is the best part :D

A very good place to have South Indian food in Bir. But their service is very slow. We tried hemp dosa, which was okayish. The Vadas were very good. We ordered aam panna, which was just lemonade with mango pieces. Overall, we had an above average experience, but not the best like it's hyped on the internet.
