It was our spiritual expedition day and after visiting few of the incredible Buddhist shrines, we were famished and landed at the Lotus Restaurant. Without much ado, we ordered for Veg Thali and two Garlic Butter Naans. The fresh thali got served within ten minutes and it had two rotis, lots of rice
Our best experience of Tibetan and Indian food in Bodhgaya even for our delicate stomachs 😀 Great atmosphere and we heard that it’s getting hard to get a table when the refugees Tibetan market opens!

Found this on Google in Bodh Gaya, Simple and small, cosy restaurant, the Special Thupka was just awesome, would highly recommend
A local told us about this place and I agree that their momos are the best. We ordered the veg monos. The poori served with aloo dum is fantastic. I could eat just the aloo dum by itself. Other dal curry dishes were also delicious.
Loved their non veg momos. Must try item.
Only problem is when ordering food via Zomato they are not giving sauce or chutney properly. Asked the delivery boy and resturant also still nothing done.
Amazing food in Lotus, for very cheap prices: the veg thali only costs 120 Rs (or 1.5€) and is filling and delicious. The people running the place are attentive and super friendly, and they speak English.
I can only recommend this place !

Best food in Bhodgaya!
The food here is finger-licking good. Be it Indian or Chinese. Had chicken curry, chicken spring roll, chicken chow, chicken chilly and chicken biryani and they were all so tasty. And portions are huge.
Very good restaurant. They have the best momos in Bodhgaya. Delicious and authentic chinese and Tibetan food.
