Such a wonderful gem! We sat down and chatted with the owner for a bit and got some good history of the region. Really nice smart guy and the chai was delicious!! We had two cups. Just the kinda place we've been seeking since we landed in India. Also I just love drinking chai out of the clay cups tastes so much better and less waste! Yumm!!!!

A serene, meditative corner where I enjoyed many chai teas, more delicious than the most luxurious tea rooms of Kolkata. Rakesh offered me insights into Bodhgaya, and the holy city’s surrounding temples, with all the clarity of a bodhissatva. A most memorable experience.
