A good restaurant by the side of bogmalo beach. Food is good, prices are reasonable. Usually gets very crowded during the weekends. Reasonable among the beach side restaurants.
This is my all time go to place in Goa.
We couldn’t call it a shack now.
I really enjoyed their Goan style prawn.
I’m not much into fish but I liked rava fried Russian masala bangda fish.
Must try their potato finger fries. Best I had till now.
I liked their vegetarian food as well.

A permanent shack, popularly known as Shakarams amidst locals and residents, is a lovely place to enjoy food and conversation. This is definitely not your swanky resto but a feel good, comfortable place with a fantastic view of the sea. Now-a-days we go there almost everyday after we finish our walks and run on the Bogmalo beach. The servers are friendly - neither to chatty nor too reserved. The food is tasty - but more than the food, the cool, relaxed and watching-the-sea adds to the complete experience of the place. We usually order their fish sizzler and chicken steak (now don't think of the perfect steak) which is delicious to us as we chat and spend relaxed hours. I wish they work a bit on their desserts which consist of only ice-creams, fruit salads and bebinca. The food is reasonably priced and the service is also quite commendable. We love spending our evenings in Shakarams, watching the sea and enjoying the melting hours.
Full marks for location and sea view. Menu is average, so is the cooking, but I guess people come here to drink and for the sea. Smoking not allowed. I spent a good 3 hours here. Had veg 65, red hot spicy. Had mushroom chilly, came with a little sauce - tasty but less on quantity. Didn't serve coffee or tea, which I wish they would. Billed me more than menu price, on asking said they forgot to change the menu :P
The food and ambience were great but the service too slow... Not a very fancy place, but a place where you can enjoy fresh and delicious seafood... The prawns were perfectly cooked and with the right amount of spice... overall a very good experience!
My friend and host for the day took me here, since it's where she goes with her dad when they are in the mood for good Goan fare. She gave me a choice between a "fancy place" with good food or a not so fancy place with great food. To the surprise none, I chose the latter, and wasn't disappointed at all. A shack with a view of the beach. The vegetarian Indian food is great and my host raves about the sea food too. She is an ardent fan of the butter garlic prawns.
After a delectable lunch a walk by a sunny sea is never a bad Idea specially if the beach is strewn with shells and star fish.

Thumbs up: Value for money, good quality (both much better than Joet), and sea view. Thumbs down: No ambience, not a party place like Joet. Tip: Try this place for lunch and if you're in the mood to splurge, go to Joet for dinner. Order prawns for 350/ plate and old monk for 40/ 60 ml
An amazing place for great food, multi cuisine resturant, with sp in goan food. A well stocked bar, very friendly staff, owner himself takes great interest in all guest.
Less crowded place. With full view of the beach. Sunset is best to watch. Awesome food and light on pocket.

Super nice restaurant with delicious seafood und all sorts of drinks and cocktails. Staff is nice too, good prices. It's located directly at the beach, so that you can enjoy your dinner and/or drinks with a nice cool sea breeze.

Best place to eat in Bogmalo! Deliciously prepared dishes from goan good, to sea food to Indian/Chinese staples. The quantity per dish offered is gracious. The prices are on par for a beach side restaurant. It may not be the most spacious but Tony's beach club gets packed all the time so reserving a table is a must. You won't be disappointed.

The best place to have amazing food at a reasonable price. Chorizo naan, chili garlic cheese naan, lepo, mussels, all types of seafood, tandoori Chicken everything is delicious. The owner sakaram is very courteous. Must visit place in bogmalo.

The friendliest restaurateur in Goa. He will make sure food is cooked the way you like it. Small place with just 6 tables. A couple tables are on the beach (which is a few steps down) for al fresco dining. Best time is evenings. Bar attached. Beer is chilled. And the barkeep will mix any cocktail you wish. Food is homely. Price - inexpensive. No parking.
Very good quality of food served and taste best...even the service is really good ...bit crowded only during lunch time ... Best time would be evening enjoying the food with cool breeze sitting outside the hotel or next to the window...
