Jay Cafe - Bundi - Photo album

If I could give Jay more than five stars I would give him more. Jay is one of the kindest people I have ever met. He has a restaurant with the best Thali we had in India. But he also recommended us what we could do in Bundi and showed us the city after we had lunch at his place. He arranged flowers,
We absolutely loved our experience at Jay’s cafe. Jay and his family are wonderful people and extremely kind hosts. They will make you feel so welcome in their home and provide delicious food.100% recommend!
Like many others we met Jay on our way towards the palace and fort. He provided helpful advice about touring the sites and loaned us a couple of bamboo sticks to fend off monkeys on the trail to the fort. (We didn’t need to use them but it was comforting to have them - and helpful on the trail dow
I believe this was the best meal I've had in India! Jay is quite entertaining and his sister cooks everything to order. I had some excellent lassi and the thali was out of this world, good prices. Delicious 😋
Jay’s hospitality is unmatched, and the food made by his mother and sister is amazing. if you haven’t had the chance to meet Jay on the street, be sure to visit his cafe!
Very nice breakfast. Fresh fruit muesli and juices owned by a very kind and hard worker family. Best location to the palace and they give you great tips for your visit
After passing Jay about 8 times in the street, we decided he was a very high achieving salesman and we should try his restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. We had Thali and there was so much food and it was really delicious, Jay's sister is a great cook. The whole family were very sweet and we a
Jay and Renku were very enthusiastic and welcoming. The thali was tasty and plentiful. We ate all we could. Cold beer is available too. The location has a great view of the palace and action near the entry-way. Jay's mom gave my wife a surprise gift... very sweet. Jay gave us a stick for protectio
Thank you to Jay and his sister and mother for welcoming us so warmly into your home! The thali, lassi and chai were amazing (maybe a little pricey but worth it!) and the little gifts we lovely. Memories we will never forget! Jay is very enthusiastic about you coming to his restaurant, but don’t be
Jay and his sister are very kind and welcoming. We first met jay when he saw us going up to the fort and gave us a stick to keep the monkeys away (the monkeys actually weren't an issue and kept to themselves, don't worry. But it was a nice gesture and much appreciated). Afterwards we came by for s
I enjoyed a delcious thali dinner, with endless refills, overlooking the lit up walls of the Bundi fortress. Great food, super hospitality, so helful. Just make sure to bend low when entering, I found the doorpost a bit lower than I expected.
We just visited Jay’s cafe and we’re overwhelmed with how welcoming Jay and his family were. They are such amazing hosts. The food was quite delicious and reasonably priced. I recommend stopping by, even if Jay doesn’t greet you first!
We met Jay a couple of years ago when wandering around the fort and made the wise decision to use him as a guide to explore further afield sticks in hand to keep monkeys at bay. He was entertaining, funny, speaks excellent English and was excellent company. In fact we ended up spending quite a lot
What a fabulous little cafe. The thali was second to none and the welcome the best in India. I recommend that anyone passing through Bundi drops by. Jay is also the guide for the fort, so maybe call in on your way up to the palace and fort. They make you feel like part of the family and really wel
