This was one of the best meals we had in nearly 1 month in India. The food is authentic Rajasthani, and tastes incredibly fresh and wholesome - you can tell it's home made. The cashew curry and the eggplant & potato dish were amazing, and the couple who owns the place is very kind and welcoming. Highly recommend if you're craving flavorful and authentic Indian food.

Absolutely delicious home cooked food we had the cashew curry and the eggplant and potatoes and it was absolutely delicious! One of the best meals we have had in India it was nice to have a break from thali and paneer. The family that own the place were lovely and very humble and so pleased that we enjoyed their food. There is also a good view of the palace

Super tasty homemade food. I got the cashew curry for lunch and went back again at night. Freshly made bread. Outside may not look appealing, but the food it was super yummy. The family is also lovely :)

Had lunch at A&R on our first day at Bundi. We had the eggplant and potato dish with chapati. It was freshly prepared by the woman who runs it. The flavours in the sabzi were impeccable and we heartily enjoyed our meal with a glass of fresh nimbu pani (lemon water). Place was affordable as well. Highly recommend 😊👍🏼

We had a lovely home cooked meal here in early December 2022. We ate Chana masala (excellent), mixed vegetables, dahl, rice, chapatis, lemon tea. It was a delicious meal after a long day. We saw other reviews that said the food had too much oil, but we didn’t think so. We thought it was perfect. The food is prepared when ordered and the aroma was making us hungrier! Totally worth the slight wait. Arvin and his wife Renuka are nice people and Arvin’s English is very good. You will have a good experience here.

I saw the reviews for this place before arriving in Bundi and thought it was worth a try. Wow we were so right! It is a small place on the roof of their house and the food is all cooked fresh. The menu is small but that was one of our favourite parts. Having been in India for 4 weeks I have said many times that some of the places we have eaten should reduce the amount of dishes they offer and focus on the food they can cook really well. A&R have done just that and the results are delicious! After chatting with Arvin (A) about the dishes on offer we chose Dal fry and a potato/aubergine curry with rice and chapati. Both were cooked completely fresh so be prepared for a short wait, smelling the delicious aromas coming up from the kitchen! The spice level was discussed and tailored to our request (we like spicy food and the level they chose was perfect for us!). Everything Renuka (R) cooked was delicious but we would totally recommend the aubergine/potato curry, one of the best dishes we have had in India! Overall, if you are looking for amazing authentic Indian food at a reasonable price this is the place for you. Lovely after dinner conversation with Arvin too! We are only here a couple of days but there is a high chance we will be back!

Eating here was like having a personal executive chef - really nice! We were the only one's there... they cooked for us! Arvin & Renuka explained what was fresh and available then prepared it quickly. Very tasty and great prices too! The rooftop dining space was neat - steep stairs to get up there. We met the two young sons too. A sweet family trying to get back to business after the covid interruption. Two thumbs up. Recommend.

We had a great dinner and beers here. Run by a lovely family with a husband with great English. We had delicious pakoras and beer to start and then a lady finger (okra) curry and a Shahi paneer with naans. The prices were very affordable compared to other touristic spots in Rajasthan. We ordered our food a few hours before so they could prepare the food since it is all freshly prepared and could take some time. Food is prepared with ghee and not oil, but still a bit heavy like everywhere in India, but they can customise the oil and spicy levels which was really nice. I would definitely recommend this place for an authentic home cooked meal!

One of our favourite meals in Rajasthan. Delicious food & a really lovely owner. I wasn't feeling well and they suggested the right food for me which was so appreciated. Really recommend!
