We had dinner at this place last week. The food and ambience are extremely good. You can sit by the sea side and enjoy your food with the lapping waves in the back ground. This place will surely give you very positive vibes. Not a loud place- you can enjoy your food leisurely.

Great ambience and serene sea views. Music played in the background is a plus. Tons of choices on the menu. All of ordered items were tasty!
Staff is polite. Visited on a weekday for dinner and the service was slow, took nearly an hour for the food to arrive.
UPI payment is accepted. Unisex restroom is at the back, was neatly maintained. An additional small hand wash basin is also present.

The best onion pakoras we've had. Chips we're home made and delicious. Lovely pickle too. Service is very low key and friendly. You can relax on the sunbeds all day for free and order food and/or drinks when you're ready

Getting down to our eats, lemme recommend this ONE helluva smasher of a dish. The "Prawn Butter Garlic".
The sauce that he caresses those prawns in, is heaven sent. I remember telling my hubby, I'll gladly drown in that sauce, and a happy death that would be π

Must visit!! The people are very friendly and they would give you some best suggestions to enhance your culinary experience. Food was too good and the presentation was on point. We tried their grilled fish and white sauce pasta and they were very good. You can chill , relax and enjoy the vibe here.
Food is amazing veg options specially, great place to chill... They play music which makes u feel relaxed... It's a fun place to experience with friends reasonable prices for food and drinks as well . The owner and staff is very friendly they go above and beyond if u need help... This is my go to place for food and a relaxed evening...
Shack on Calangute beach with great ambiance and terrific food. The owner, Joe Rodrigues is friendly and helpful with his reccomendations not just for the menu at Rudy's but also other places to try in Goa for authentic Goan cuisine. The staff was also very helpful and a shoutout to Majid! They also set up a bonfire in the evenings when the wind kicks in and it can get a little nippy.
Would highly recommend the sea food, beef xacuti, barbeque and cocktails. Everything we tried on the menu was of a consistent and high quality.
Overall, we were in Goa for 6 nights and spent 5 of those at Rudy's Golden Mermaid Beach Shack for dinner, drinks and generally hanging out. Highly recommended!!

Rudy's is a must visit place if you are in Goa. The food was amazing and we had a really good time there. We reached Rudy's almost at their closing time and still they were willing to get us the table and be at our service till we enjoyed to the fullest P.S we were a total of 10 people.
The hospitality is simply excellent something that you won't even find in the top notch restaurants.
Would like to highlight One of the instances that made this trip memorable to me and will speak for itself about how amazing this place is. It is the genuineness of the owner. We had tried to make the payment via UPI and due to server issue the payment was stuck. At this instance, Rudy was kind enough to let us make the payment at our ease. We tried again once we got back to the hotel and unfortunately the payment got deducted but the transaction was not completed. We paid Rudy the next day in cash and two days later the UPI payment also got completed. Rudy promptly transferred the excess money received, which is something you don't come across everyday.
Thank you Rudy for the exceptional service, food and for being an amazing person!! Will love to visit you the next time we are in Goa!!
Visited Rudy's on 27th January 2023, ambience is good, Owners are very polite.
Above that food is really good, Goa is known for Sea Food and Non-Veg food, but we tried Veg food and all dishes are really very good. Thanks to chef :)

The friendliest shack in Goa run by a lovely couple Joe and Jyoti. Felt like home away from home. Incredible food. Lobsters and prawns were to die for!

One of the best shacks I visited in more than 7 visits to Goa. Joseph (shack owner- very friendly and helpful) is very involved in ensuring high quality of cocktails and food being served. Loved the baby prawns fry and Pomfret fry. A must visit shack in Goa !
A quiet beach shack between Calangute and Candolim beaches with amazing food, potent cocktails and a curated music playlist which props up the ambience without drowning out the surroundings (along with being kid and family friendly). Joseph is a great host who ensures you have the best experience possible. Pretty much anything on the menu is highly recommended (I became partial to the Beef Chilly Fry, Calamari Rechado and Barbecued Fish / Prawns over my frequent visits) and the Margaritas, LIITs and Pina Coladas are mixed to perfection. This is definitely my go-to spot to relax whenever I am in North Goa!
We Absolutely loved Rudy's, the food was very good and the staff made it so memorable. The beach shack was such a special place for my partner and I to visit, I even proposed to my girlfriend one evening in front of the sunset. The owner was very nice and the waiter who served us for the whole two weeks was the kindest prson we had ever met. 100% recommend to anyone.
