Adelaide Bar And Restaurant is located in North Goa at a road bend within a nice and safe neighborhood. It is besides Fisherman's Corner and at a walkable distance from Newton Supermarket.
This is a multi cuisine restaurant that serves good food. Our choice of food was a well-done Tenderloin Steak along with a soup and Calamari Fry. Food was just as expected - fresh, juicy, tasty and well cooked.
The food was on a little expensive side but was worth every penny.
Not sure if it was the hotel staff or owners serving us, but they were polite and cooperative. Would love to visit again if I get a chance.
Extraordinary ambience and delicious food.. service person was too kind.. And a sweet lady sang a song which was really nice. Definitely will again when I visit goa.
PS - Mam, if you are reading this review. Hope you remember me by my smile which was resembling as yours and being my mom π
I have travelled all over goa n tried dozens of restaurants but one cant beat this restaurant for taste for variety of seafood for prices. I am visiting since 2015 each year. If you are seafood lover this is heaven. All dishes are mouthwatering. My favourite oyster, mussels, seafood soup and seafood platter. No 1 restaurant in goa. I will visit lifetime
Must tryyyy!!!!
We were in goa for a week's stay. We tried this place on day 1 for lunch then we just fell in love with the taste. We almost tried everything and enjoyed every bite of a meal. Chris Gomes makes amazing cocktails and is very polite. Sandra Gomes personally makes sure the food is prepared and served well. We personally appreciated the chef for the delicious food they prepare. They didn't leave any chance for us to complain. They prepare everything so well that I even liked the salad which is served with starters. Everything was perfect. This place is just 5 mins away from main candolim market. People usually go where crowd is more but just try this place once then you'll bring more crowd and justice to this place.
I must mention that Chris, Sandra and Jordan all of them are polite and hardworking.
Adding all the pictures of food we had just couldn't capture every dish because we just couldn't wait to eat that delicious food π
Also the ambience is amazing. It feels peaceful there.
5 stars are not even sufficient to rate this place.
I was visiting Calangute Post Office during my just another day and while back and forth found a place which looked tropical in ambience, had beautiful wall painting and huge screening for a cricket match named as @adelaide_goa
Hello peeps!
I am back with another review of a place that has been shifted from Candolim to Calangute.
The restaurant was established in the year 2013 at Candolim. On 28th October of this year the restaurant was reopened in Calangute near St. Anthony's Chapel.
Adelaide specialises in Multi Cuisine.
It's the brain child of Sandra and Krish who are also a great host apart from being great restaurateur.
During the conversation with Sandra I was astound to know that Adelaide got its name from her mother's name.
Sandra's mother was behind her to open a restaurant however it was quite subtle that Sandra dedicated the nomenclature of restaurant to her due to sheer passion for food in her heart and love for her mother π©βπ§
@adelaide_goa offers special events on weekends.
At night Live Roomali Roti, Grilled BBQ Sea Food and Karari Roti are also part of the special menu.

I was thrilled with the customized menu prepared for me by Chef Deepak and Chef Shyam. During a long conversation with both of them it helped me to understand the basic of plating technique and taste palate stimulation while planning the courses of menu. Both are damn good at their work and knowledge part.
Thank you for hosting me for a lovely treat. It was pleasure to cover a place which has still got mother's recipe specifically for Goan Cuisine served day in and out with all the love β€οΈ
I am full for today, see you all in some other blog.
Bye!
Such a quaint and beautiful goan restaurant. The ambience is so Goa. The food is also nice and so is the service. The Xacuti is a must have. Lovely place to hang with friends and enjoy Goa over a few drinks.
I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal in Adelaide. I had a 3 course meal, with a couple of beers. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want a romantic night out. There was also plenty of room for bigger groups.Excellent food. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Definitely fine dining. Highly recommended. Do Visit. Awesome Cocktail n Mocktails made by Mr. Chris Gomes
