Insane sunset! Mind-blowing tandoori mushrooms. Staff is really courteous. Safety precautions were followed by all. We kept our stuff at the table and chilled by the beach. When we got back our food was waiting for us. And it was not cold. I could come back here for the shrooms!

The food... Perfect... Prawn butter garlic is out of this world
The drinks... They'll get you buzzed and they don't compromise on anything....

Best part of this place... It's run hands on by the family that owns it and they take personal attention to a point that they even remember your kids names and baby sit them while you have dinner...
They also got an enclosure for kids to frolic in the sand...
Out of necessity if you really want me to pick a negative I would say do not try to get too continental when you order...

Wow is just one word to describe this exceptional place with natural ambience, lovely view and awesome food .The flooring here is covered with sand so you get the feeling of sitting on the beach which makes this place stand out. Staff is always smiling while serving. They have a nice range of wines and spirits too. The menu items include seafood, pork, beef and is a good place to have breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack, at reasonable rates. Wonderful place to relax with great Goan cuisine and beach front with awesome views of the sea.
Ate here 3 times in our 4 days in Goa! their Crabmeat Augratin and Crab XecXec was excellent. Their steaks and rava/ batter fried seafood were amazing too. The food is very reasonably priced and the place has a lovely beachfront ambience. The creme caramel was to die for - ate atleast 2 with each meal!
The owners were lovely to speak to and guided us in ordering their best dishes. Must visit when in Goa :)

We are vegetarians and we wanted to try the Goan cafreal, this was one of the few places we found panneer cafreal and it was so good! The cheese butter garlic naan was very delicious and sumptuously stuffed with cheese. Enjoyed the food here. The lemon barley drink is something everyone needs to try! Overall, great place, good ambience. Sea side candle light dinner is altogether a different experience!
We had a fantastic lunch last week. Extremely delicious food. The two paneer dishes were great. We were served by Vikky who gave us correct suggestions. It was one of our best meals. Whenever in North Goa we will surely revisit this restaurant.

If you are visiting North Goa then do not miss this place. You get an awesome place to relax with great view of Candolim beach and the aguada fort. Service and food are outstanding.
One of the best meals... Mutton sukha, Goan sausage in goan bread and mutton rogan josh... just blew us away. Then for dessert the apple pie & cream caramel were of five star quality. Will be telling all our friends back home.

Palms n Sands has been the find of our trip. This little gem of a restaurant offers food as tasteful as anywhere in Goa. The prices written on menu are all inclusive and I absolutely love the transparency in rates in this day and age. I went there for lunch and dinner. Tried chicken steak in mushroom sauce (highly recommended). Pomfret fish prepared in a tandoor. And their cheese garlic naan is to die for. We were traveling with our 2 year old and parents and the owner and his wife took out the time to make us all feel very welcome and comfortable. All in all, a MUST visit sea facing restaurant with your family.
Perfect location to sit and enjoy the beach while having your food or drinks. They have a nice menu and the quality & quantity of the food was just perfect. Taste was awesome and prices were reasonable. I just loved their fried ice cream. Staff are always smiling while serving.

This restaurant has a unique design...sand then deck then sand. Being elevated the sea view is the main draw. However the food quality is not far behind. And they have choice. Every dish we ordered was outstanding. Will return.
A restaurant modelled like a shack...open 365 days..but the best part was the hospitality of the owner David who made us feel at home. Just excellent.

This restaurant is modelled like a upscale shack.Best part is the sea view from here. To match up was the chicken cafreal kebab.. a lovely starter...we enjoyed. The Apple pie was the icing on the cake.Hats off Palms & Sands... will be seeing you again for sure .

Great place and was actually near to Marquis Resort where we were staying. Awesome food and Live music adds to the aura. Really liked the place. The staff was great, especially Abhishek, he was kind and helpful.
Another gem of Candolim. One of the tastiest prawn biriyanis around - flavorful and generous quantity. Same goes for Prawn Sukhha. Pricing is reasonable as well.
EDIT: I almost forgot to mention the ambience - clear view of the beach. It's a bliss to enjoy dinner with the waves.
A beautiful place..you can enjoy the view of the sea and the tempting seafood.We had red snapper ,kingfish and goan prawn curry..each one was flavoursome and delicious.The staff was very courteous ...and the owner Mrs Vinisha was so sweet... talking to all her guests .This is a must visit place to have authentic Goan food as well enjoy the sea if you are staying in Candolim.You can reach this place from the candolim beach as well.

We were looking for a place to chill out away from the crowd of Baga and calangute. And we reached Palms n Sands. Though it was off season, so we had the advantage of finding peace in North Goa. We ordered Red Snapper, Prawn Balchao with Goan Pao and steamed rice. Prawn Balchao was nice, I have had better ones as well in Goa though. Snapper was good to taste. Overall the pallet was perfect for hunger. I was a bit disappointed with the Pao.
It was a little hidden place that we found and right from the moment we walked in we got great service. Lionel took care of us and offered great suggestions when we asked for good goan food. Each dish was more delicious then the last! And then of course the dessert- the bibenca and apple pie were the stars of the show! It was the best meal we had during our vacation! Thank you for great music, excellent food and ambience! Worth every penny.
It's a nice shack at the candolim beach with a good view. The service is good and food was nice. The best part is that Candolim beach is relatively less crowded and so was this shack giving us more time to sit, relax , listen to the music and chat.
I had their peanut masala , fries, veg noodles and veg fried rice and liked the peanut masala and noodles.
The caramel cake was not up to the mark and can be improved but it's a fine place otherwise.

Ordered Banana shake it's not in the menu but I requested as I am on a specific diet... N they made it as I wanted. We also ordered Cheese Chilly Toast. It was great and nicely cooked.
Visited the place recently in June when rains gods were pouring with all their might ......a lovely place to just sit and enjoy the rains by the beach side.......food was yumm... specially the paranthas......a typical shack with good music...very friendly staff as usual in Goa......put your feet up and just sit for hours in peace

Food is brilliant. Amazing flavours, decent quantity at decent rates. Angara chicken, chettinad chicken bites and cheese butter garlic naan are a must try. Service could be faster.
One of the best places I've ever been to in Goa. This place was discovered by me accidentally 3 years back while I was super hungry and stranded on candolim beach, but since then I never miss the place every time I'm in Goa.
The view is to die for. Situated on a deck overlooking the golden candolim beach, it's a view you can spend the whole day with. The interiors are cozy and relaxing.
The food is great (if you know what to order). Try the butter fried calamari, prawns tempura & chicken cafreal dry. These are amongst the best dishes served here.
The service goes hand in hand with the decor... Relaxed and laid back. If you want a quickly served dinner, you'll be disappointed here. But if you've got a day to spend with your family or loved one with no plans, then this IS the place to be.
PS- they also provide ttowels & changing room if you feel like taking a dip in the clean waters there

It is a hidden gem in Candolim(and in Goa) (unfortunately overshadowed by more crowded nearby calamari restaurant). We went for dinner and sat on the beach level seating(they have two level of seating for dinner time and beach level is open only for dinner).
View: As said by other reviewers as well, it is one of the best, clean and calm view of beach you can get while having dinner.
Food: Being a vegetarian, you don't get good food/options in most of the restaurants.(most good restaurants keep it as a check point but concentrate more on seafood).
Veg. food here was amazing with lot of effort put into making dish innovative. If you are a vegetarian and love small innovations in your food, you should not miss this place. [special mention to sizzler bites]
Price: it's mid range but given that it is right on beach and with good food, I would say that it is extremely reasonable.
Service: Went there twice (first for dinner and then for lunch) and was extremely satisfied with service. and since it is open till 1 AM, one of the best places to hang out till late night.
P.S. This is one of the must go to places on my list when I will visit Goa again. I hope it stays in business for a long time.

It's the right place for casual or formal evenings!
The best place for a perfect sunset or newyears fire crackers! I enjoy the french fries and crispy veg here. Paneer butter masala is good too. My non veg friends like the cheezy chicken fingers and the butter chicken here.
This beautiful place is on the Candolim beach with stairs going right down to the sea.It not only has a view to die for but also the quality of food is awesome,it's fresh and juicy. The owners are warm and welcoming. We wanted to have veg goan starters with beer and the owner Mrs Pinto went inside the kitchen and what followed was a dream coming true,she got made Potatoes Reachado and Mushrooms in Cafreal sauce in her presence which were yum and sooooo flavoursome that is beyond words. My daughter had Crumb fried Prawns and she repeated the order. They have a good selection of beer and wines and we wrapped up by having excellent desserts after lunch. The servers are polite and speedy with good knowledge. We humbly thank the sweet owners for going out of their ways to make our second lunch at their beautiful place a truly wonderful & memorable one.

If you want a beachside view of the sunset while having your favourite cocktail, this is one of the best places to be on Candolim beach.
This is one of the best shacks/casual dining areas in all of Goa. It was right on the beach (there was literally sand all around you, even in the restaurant), so the sea view was spectacular.
As far as the food went, it was phenomenal. I asked the manager to make me Lobster Balchao, even though it wasn't on the menu, and thankfully he was able to make it. It was truly one of the best Goan dishes I have ever had....period. That was followed by the Beef Chilli Fry, which was amazing. The beef was succulent, and very flavorful.
In addition to the food, I had Sheesha with paan flavor, which was great.So, all in all, a great experience.

The food is really delicious, I went there only after looking at zomato reviews and I was not disappoined. It's a fun place to chill. It's near to the beach as well, must definitely go there if you want to enjoy good food and nice breeze.
It was the last meal on this trip to Goa and it was the best. The entire staff was friendly including the manager. The food was good as it is the case with most of the eateries in Goa. However, this one stands out because of the ambiance and the location. Must visit place around Candolim. They have a microbrewery as well :)
Great food at your table at Palms n Sands Specially sea food. Mussels and prawns were fresh. Also tried Pepper Chicken, Chilli Chicken and Roasted Masala Papad. Real Nice Place. One can have a pleasant eve on the beach side. Very tasty food. I have eaten 2 apetizers and a curry with Rice. Cheese garlic bread is tasty. Needless to say. Food tastes awesome. Very friendly Staff. Must go.
Good food, friendly staff, great view... Palms n Sands is located in Candolim. The upper deck offers a great view of the sea, and the soft music playing in the background adds to the peaceful experience. We visited for breakfast this time... The place opens by 10:30 am. Here's what we had:
Fried eggs on toast and boiled eggs - freshly made, just right to start the day with
Cornflakes
Strawberry shake - could be a little less sweet (was too syrupy)

Felt the food quantity could've been better but it passed the vibe and view check. I ordered butter garlic prawns so the taste was good but the prawns were the smallest i have ever eaten.

A beautiful beachside restobar in Candolim. We went for a candlelight dinner and it was crowded but we could get a table without reservation. The crowd was young and energetic and the food was nothing to boast of but okayish. Itβs a good place for tourists to hang out for food and fun.

My friends and I decided to celebrate my birthday in June 2023 by visiting Goa. One evening, while exploring Candolim Beach, we stumbled upon a stunning beachside restaurant called Palm & Sand Beach Ristro Bar Candolim. Intrigued, we unanimously agreed to give it a try. As we approached the bar, we were captivated by its picturesque location overlooking the sea. We settled down and indulged in a delightful evening, ordering a variety of dishes.
To start, we savored the flavors of Peanut and Chana Masala Chaat, accompanied by refreshing Cranberry Juice. The Promphet Fish Fry and King Lobster in Italian Style were next on our list, both of which exceeded our expectations. To conclude our meal, we relished the delectable Mutton Rogan Josh and Indian bread.
The bill came to around 7500 rs, which we found reasonable considering the quality of the food and the convenience of food delivery. However, what truly stood out was the ambiance and location of the restaurant, enhancing our dining experience. I would confidently rate it a perfect five out of five. Sitting by the seashore, the soothing sound of the waves created a symphony that added to the enchantment of the evening. It was the ideal setting to enjoy a memorable evening.
After our delightful dinner, we decided to create more cherished memories by taking a leisurely stroll along the beach in front of the restaurant. It was a perfect ending to a wonderful evening.
We walked from a nearby large hotel to have some drinks and snacks.
I was truly surprised by the quality of their cocktails, nicely made with proper ingredients, amazingly well presented and reasonably priced.

Food is great here! Undoubtedly has the best view without cover charges. Have drinks, eat food and walk down the beach from the deck all this with a very pocket friendly menu. Must visit for late lunch and spend time till sunset. Amazing vibes!
This restaurant in Goa has been serving for the last 34 years. Its on Candolim beach, less crowded. They serve very good veg Jain
food along with non-veg. We tried Jain paneer Paratha, paneer lababdar, chapati and paratha along with veg Manchurian.
Hospitality and service is too good. Definitely worth visiting.

An amazing restaurant on the Candolim beach. I would suggest people should start going places like this instead of Brittos on Baga beach which is crowded most of the time.
The restaurant also gives access to the beach which is sparingly crowded. The restaurant also offers a washroom to clean off after your time in the beach.

Nice beach view bar. Their choice of music can be better. Recommended to eat Chilli chicken. Not recommended to eat Spring roll as they were very oily. Garlic bread was very crispy and not the soft one.
This 5 star rating is for the reason that this was the only place I could find was open during the off season (peak monsoon) while most other shacks were shut. This is not just a shack but offers the experience of one. A beer by the beach experience is something that we can't miss, yeah!
Happened to find this place out of sheer luck while wandering the beach! And man was it love at first sight.
Ambience : Amazing feels if you are lucky to get tables by the window. Great thing here is that the windows are detachable. So in case it rains, they'll quickly put things back and we are good to continue.
Food and Drinks : Yummy. Don't miss Golden Fried Prawn. Priced really well too.
Service : Decent. No complaints
