I have a soft spot for this place. Its a very basic restaurant, serving tasty food. To my pleasant surprise they make great fresh bruschetta, which is a nice change from Indian fare (which I love). They also do great hand cut chips & have a pizza oven. The staff are wonderful & very child friendly which always gets my vote.

This place is the sweetest romantic place in Candolim. It's right on the main road and the dinner service is lovely. I loved both the Indian and continental fare. You can also choose the catch of the day which is put on display. The best part is that it is quite inexpensive give the quality of food and service you get here compared to the restaurants around it.

We reached the Marimar beach looking for a good place to eat at and saw Foodland, and we were very pleasantly surprised. Nothing too flashy here but you would feel peaceful thanks to the ambience, subtle interior decoration and yum food (and quantity too). Service too was pretty nice. All this AND Very Easy on our Budget.

Large selection of food from a range of nationalities. Brilliantly cooked. Also on request they will cook almost anything. The onion bhajis( not on menu!) Are to die for. Also had a giant speciality (also not on menu) 'pomfret xacuti' which was brilliant. Food & drink at very good prices.

A smallish place on the main road so can be a bit noisy but the food is good to the point that you really need to book of you don't want to be disappointed and of you want a home made our that needs ordering when you book or you may be in for a long wait.
