Good Food , Ambience and Staff
The name of the restaurant is derived from the combination of the name of the Goan owner couple. Fatima, the wife does the Goan curries and masalas to perfection. It is a family run restaurant with a home style kitchen. The atmosphere is vibrant and the food always good and fresh. This is their Moto and they deliver.
The restaurant occupies the extension of a quaint portugese style home, made lively by the warmest hosts. The motto of 'good food > pomp' is reflected in the wholesome meals, in terms of quantity and quality, both.
The staff and host are friendly and up to chat about anything that you'd need assistance with.
The ambience is homely coupled with soft music and goes best with the jazzy array of drinks that Octima has to offer.
Things we ordered:
1. Masala fried Kingfish
2. Thai roast prawns
3. Chicken xacuti with steamed rice
4. Drinks : Woo Woo and Mama's Mama.
While being great value for money, every dish was generous in quantity and a definite 5/5 for flavors.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste of food. It was my first time at Octima and I thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience. The food was very tasty, the host was very humble and nice and the ambience was great. I highly recommend this restaurant. Keep up the good work.
One best place for cocktails. Tried few option and its was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is beautiful.

They have variety in Non veg and most of the reviews also talks about nonveg, but Veg food was also tasty and fresh. Cocktail was amazing. Highly recommended✨️
if you are in south goa near madgao, colva, palolem- do visit this place. Owner and staff were welcoming!

I had been there with family and kids.The place is very calming and if you want to have some peaceful time with your family over a good food you can visit here,Food is authentic and tasty , even the pricing for the dishes are reasonable ,staff is very polite and courteous they will see to it that you have a good time there. Overall a very good experience with good food and drinks.

Amazing food and fantastic customer service - that should sum up everything about Octima. We have been coming to south Goa for years and are super upset that we discovered this place only this time. It is tucked away a bit inside and is very close to Radisson, Novotel and Karma. The place has a really nice vibe to it which makes you feel like you are enjoying a meal at your own place. The staff was extremely polite and always on the look out for non verbal sign from customers which to me means excelling at customer service (which is a rarity these days) . There were 2 employees who interacted with us the few times we visited this week and they were both really courteous, willing to listen and always looked at ways to make the experience memorable. Now on to the food, we mostly only order regional cuisines on vacation and this place had the best goan thali. I tried the espresso martini as well which was quite delicious ( If coffee is your thing!) and somehow always end up eating masala pappad just because . Did that a couple of times this week.Waiting for the next time in Goa to enjoy this delicious food again - it truly is a hidden gem! I did not click a lot of pictures but here are a few that I did click!
The best service received. Lovely atmosphere and great staff. Their mixed fruit pancakes were amazing. The strawberry milkshake was thick and yummy.
Great Experience. Best Tikkas in Goa. Not a single dish of cocktail that we didn't absolutely love. Prompt service. The owner personally ensures that guests have a good experience. The ambience is great. A good break from the loud party music, to enjoy a peaceful chilled out dinner.
We stayed in the area for almost 3 weeks and this was the best restaurant by far! Every dish we tried was absolutely fantastic! The food is made from the heart. The service was also very exceptional and all the cocktails we tried were superb! The family running the restaurant are very friendly and kind. We truly enjoyed our experiences at this restaurant... Thank you again for taking care of us and serving nothing but the best. :)
Wonderful food. Excellent staffs. Thanks to them for making it such a pleasing experience for us. The fish fillet with rawa coating was delicious😘. The staff were so pleasing and made us extremely cosy and comfy. Chicken gravy dishes were too good and the roti was soft. It was a home away from home. Thanks octima. I recommend any one staying in novotel or nearby to eat here only and nowhere else. I have tried all the nearby restaurants and i can say 100% this is a gem. Happy holidays
Fantastic food. Fresh ingredients prepared with care. Each dish tastes uniquely different. Loved it's fish thali and chicken sagoti. Better than best fish restaurant in Mumbai. Very reasonable too.
Really good food and superb service. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here. It's a bit hidden inside but truly a gem of a place with amazing rates for some really delicious food. A must visit if in Cavelossim. Highly recommend the Crepes Suzette flambéed with brandy.

Must try if you are looking for authentic Goan and any other cuisines perfect blend of culinary being used amazing, aunty’s masala are amazing try out beef roulade.
We used to order mackerel and chicken thali everyday for lunch for almost 2 weeks daily delivered to our villa from Octima. We love spicy food and they would prepare it exactly as we wanted. And it’s delivered hot as they prepare it once they receive the order. The clams/mussels local preparation that comes with the mackerel thali is the best we’ve had.

Such a great great place! Tucked into a small lane in cavelossim, it's underrated because it's surrounded by so many more well known restaurants. But it outshines them all! Ambience is beautiful and so are the hosts. The food, though...such mind-blowing food. Definitely try the Chicken Cafreal and Crepe Suzette. The taste was beyond brilliant. They deserve to be so much more well-known. Will definitely be visiting again!
