Located on the Sal river close to Leela Goa this is an amazing place to visit. The location on the river overlooking the wharf with sail boats moving forth , good music , good food and drinks , pleasant breeze wafting across , what more to spend a evening with friends and your family.
Do try their blueberry cheese cake. Its one of the best cheesecake i have ever tasted.
Evenings are best to be here. Loved the service and ambience. This place gave me amazing memories to take along. I’d recommend this place to everyone atleast once.

this little bay side restaurant located with in the dense south Goa, opens up to be a very lavish bay side restaurant, with a very spectacular view, has quite the airy seating, came here on a sunny afternoon, quite the spot to hit if you are in the mood for some great seafood, the staff was friendly, they took a while to seat us, even though the restaurant was empty, I believe it could have been a staff problem, but once we were seated we were offered the menu really quick, we placed our order, ordered for some lobster and a prawn curry and some beers, the food here was amazing I highly suggest trying out their lobster, really rightly priced as well, along with lobster crab was something was tasty and yummiest. Not only non veg but veg optioons were also great. It have 3 outlets tho.I personally believe the menu could have been more elaborate and the interior of the restaurant could have been different or they could have done more with such a place but I suggest this restaurant for a good lunch, that all folks!

On my trip to Goa, I visited this place called The Fisherman's Wharf which had some amazing Goan food. There are lots of options to choose from not only for sea food lovers but for vegetarians as well. I tried Garlic Prawns with feta, goan chicken fry, fish curry rice and creme caramel. Prawns were cooked really well with garlic, I loved the taste. I thoroughly enjoyed fish curry with rice, it was like a comfort food. And creme caramel was perfect sweet with settled taste. Quality of food was amazing, and the service was quick as well.

They have 3 outlets but this by far is one which i personally like. Known for its Cocktails and when it comes to food - Lobster/Butter Garlic Prawns and the Goan Curry is a must try. Menu is elaborated.
Started with some Beers (120/+) and Frozen Pomegranate Margarita (Do try)
Veg Options are plenty -Opted for North Indian dish, Till Tandoori Aloo. Basically its Potatoes stuffed with cheese and dry fruits. Straight from the Clay oven. Served piping hot. Garnish of bell peppers and Chutney.
Butter Garlic TIGER PRAWNS - 2 options (Jumbo/Tiger) Here the price is as per the catch. Opted for Tiger in Butter Garlic. Madewell. Balance was good. Served with Exotic vegetables and French fries. Went well with the beer.
Fish Tikka - Again a north Indian speciality. This is their Signature dish/Chef's special. Marinated with Homemade spices. Skewered cooked in clay oven. No rocket science- let the food do the talking.
Stay Goan -Prawn Curry Rice. Loved it. Traditional style of cooking. Flavours (Bold) balanced well with Goan spices and coconut. This comes with rice. Do try. Prices at 470/+
When in Goa must try the Pao - tried with Chorizo. Traditional Goan Pork sausages served with Homemade Goan bread. Can't go wrong.
Desserts - Bebinca, no explanation needed. Call for it. Polished it.

The seafood soup, chicken zacutti, prawns starters, fish tikka and desserts here are amazing! The ambience is also great. Would like to make a special mention of- Chef Joel at Fisherman’s; he really went out of the way to make our anniversary dinner memorable at Fisherman’s. The dishes he suggested for our dinner were also perfect! We keep coming back to this place every time we visit Goa for the great food and humble hospitality. Highly recommending this place for authentic Goan cuisine. Must try here- Serradurra and tiramisu in deserts and all of their prawn delicacies are yum!

Great place with good food. The Cavelossim restaurant has a waterfront relaxed setting with a live band. The bar is fully stocked and the food hits right right notes. Goan and internation seafood tastes great - the fried king fish rava masala was excellent (the Peri Peri sauce served on the side made for a blast of flavours), while the prawns in garlic with feta and the batter friend calamari were fresh and tasty. We tried a beef Assad, prawn curry and a pork spare ribs for the main course with sannas (pois). The spare ribs were special. Elister, took care of our table who was very friendly, efficient and well informed. Raj, the unit manager and David, the manager gave us a great table and managed the place perfectly. Will be back again, like we are year after year.
This was our place for Christmas lunch. The place though had a scenic view was hot for a December afternoon. The drinks and food were to our taste and wonderful - the portions just enough and the meat/fish succulent and tasty. The live music made the ambience lovely and other worldly. I’d waited and waited for an occasion to go to Fisherman’s Wharf (it’s 30 kms from where I live) and it finally came - my wedding treat. I booked a table for 20 on a summer evening and I was super excited to be finally visiting this famed place.
We all arrived - some on time but most of the group late. We had been given a table by the river and I instantly fell in love with the whole setting - the lovely lights, ambience and music. It had such a different feel from the shacks in Palolem and Agonda. I wish this good feeling about the place could sustain through the evening.
We ordered drinks - a pitcher of sangria and that of a mojito. The drinks were average - they could’ve tasted better, especially the mojito. The drinks were quite diluted too. Those who had ordered beer and other hard drinks were happier than us cocktail-sippers.
Now the food - average again. Potato Recheado was a very average dish. The spring rolls and chilli paneer were good. In non-veg, people had ordered chicken and fish items. Those having chicken were happy but who went for fish were complaining. The fish, a big red snapper - apparently the catch of the day, priced at a whopping 5000 INR, was unimpressive. It was stale and tasteless and 10 fish-eating people could not finish it (not because the quantity was too much but it did not taste good).
The desserts - Serra Dura and Creme Caramel, not bad but not great either. We enjoyed the gulab jamun though.
The staff was inattentive. Orders were taking long. In all, a mixed experience - the 4 I’m giving this place is too generous. But, I’d like to go back again (only with my husband this time and not a big group) and see if my experience is any different. If it’s the average food and drinks and slow service, I might change this rating to 3.

Visited this river side restaurant during my Goa vacation. Tried squid fry along with chicken tandoor, fish fry. Taste was good for all the dishes. Could have been better compared to the prices. Food was not that spice as we were expecting. Ambiance is very good with river side view. But unfortunately we couldn't get table on that side. Service is bit slow. Staff is prompt. Drinks prices are again on higher side.

We spent #NYE here and it was amazing experience. Live music was good. Apart from Soups rest all food items were good. 'Potato Recheado', 'Fish tikka', 'Serradura' are highly recommend while 'wharf special seafood soup' and 'Tom yum chicken soup' are waste of money. Kudos to the polite staff and waiters working over there. Had an Amazing time.
We had an amazing NYE dinner here as a family. Very impressed with everything from the service - our waiter was Abdul and he was very patient, attentive and keen to help- to the delicious seafood (pomfret, jumbo prawns cooked in garlic butter, Goan spiced calamari), the tandoor creamy mushrooms and even the naan, not to mention our scrumptious desserts (the Serradora and Bencina- which the chef came out personally to explain). Left feeling satisfied with every aspect of the meal! Highly recommend.

The pork sausages pulao, beef Xacuti, and poi were fantastic too. For dessert we had the apple pie, tiramisu and serradura which was all yum.
I came back to Fisherman's Wharf after 10 yrs. I am so happy it has only gone from Strength to Strength. The food was excellent, drinks were innovatively presented and the cocktail combos were mind blowing. The staff was courteous and the restaurant as well maintained and shiny new as 10 yrs ago. This place will always have a special importance for me!
