Loved their veg noodles, simple n classic and apt mixture of spices. However found limited no of options for vegetarian in terms of snacks...vibe of the place was awesome
This place has got amazing food & music ( live band ) and that attracts good crowd too! We really enjoyed this place 👍🏻 Must Visit specially in evenings.
Super ambience, four side open restaurant, nicely done and excellent detailing done in the woodwork, they have garden sitting area as well . The food was excellent freshly done and good portion size. The team were pleasant and efficient.

Right beside the beach, great food and quick service.
Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of F&B at James. We tried a varieyt of cuisines including north-Indian, Chinese as well as Goan and each dish was great in its own right. Even the LIIT served was one of the best I've had.
Must-try if you are in this area.
Amazing place to be, 50 meter from beach, live music, amazing food, huge variety of food, we had paneer tikka and to our surprise it was close to authentic taste, we also ordered noodles it also tasted very good. Iced tea was amazing so was virgin moito. Staff is very courteous. Live band was amazing. Thank you for making our dinner amazing.
The ambience was amazing Any time of the day u visit the beach hut ambience will mesmerize you Good backdrop for photography who loves Photography. And Icing on the cake the food and service staff are also maintaining a high standard. Keep up the Good work.Kudos!
A lovely live band when we visited yesterday. Food was good. Service was a bit hasty bcos of a huge crowd incidentally. Beautiful outdoor and indoor setting. Lovely ambience and good food non veg and veg food, Goan and Indian . Tried the batter fried squids, reachad prawns, fish fingers and paneer tikka. Mains was prawn curry , rice, malai kofta , naan, rawa fried fish which was fantastic. Also has a small patio area for dancing.
If one is bored of the slightly more formal setting of Robin's Ark and wants to try a different place than Mike's Place then James' isn't a bad place at all. Located nearer to the beach, it has outdoor seating as well. Parking for vehicles can be a issue. Also the management has taken to mosquito coils to tackle the menace. One positive aspect is from certain seats, one can see the sunset while the sky changes hues!

A very calm and beautiful place in Cavelossim. We visited the place on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The staff was friendly and helped us in ordering food. The ambience is pretty good, I’m sure it looks better during sunset. Only thing missing out is a sea view that would enhance the beauty. Food quality was good, but in my opinion the quantity was less. However the price is reasonable so it compensates for the quantity. Overall a good place to hangout. Value for money.
The staff is very friendly . And the service is also really good . Well incase of food the pasta was really good but the Honey glazed chicken (too Sweet ) and the Spanish chilly prawns (non spicy ) were not as per the mark. It would be really nice if you guys improve these two . Thanks we’ll surely visit next time
The place tells you something if you are compelled to visit the place not once but twice in a day. We went around 4 pm and had a schezwan veg noodle along with Naan and kadai paneer. These two items were enough for us to decide where we would be having our dinner. The dinner consisted of chilly cheese garlic Naan, paneer Tikka masala, rice, and dal fry. Understandably they were all brilliant, tasty, and filling in nature. I ended it with a chocolate moose and make sure that you always have someone who can share it with you since it's a bit too sweet and on the higher side of the quantity. The staff was brilliant and hospitable and the ambience was magnificent.
Everything was just perfect..... Perfect courteous smiling service, tasty Goan food, open air seating, beautiful decor. Things were so good that we dint even miss the beach.
Lovely place with great ambiance and live music. The food and drinks were brilliant . They have great collection of sea food. We tried different types of crabs and prawns. The live music that’s played gives an amazing vibe to the place , wherein customers dance in front of the stage to the music. The staff too are very lively. We had a great time.

Great place. Lot of space around, has live bands on certain days of the week and gets pretty lively here. Food was great, specially the whole fish that I tried. They were kind enough to make the entire fish in two different ways for us and tasted great.
Had wonderful experience both time when we visited. Loved their customer service!! Unfortunately i forgot their names yet, i appreciate them from bottom of my heart. We visited thrice. One guy has allowed us even after closing hrs(5pm) and served us desserts and drinks(already available ones). Dinner was great with live music. Next day lunch was awesome with awesome cocktails, starters, main course and last but not least desserts!!! Will definitely visit again in my next trip to Goa... Thanks guys for giving us such a beautiful experience!!! Muuaaahhhhhh!!!!

A nice place to hang out and have dinner with your loved ones. Ambience is lovely and the live music keeps you engaged and entertained. Food served is good and service was fast even when they were running a full house. Staff was well behaved and friendly. Overall this place is a must visit atleast once and the Cavelossim beach is very close by at a walking distance. Make sure to experience the beachy breeze after having a satisfying experience at James's Cafe.
Great Ambience and food is amazing. Must visit place for anyone coming to Cavelossim beach. Dinner starts at 7 pm onwards. There is live music which starts around 8 pm. It's about 2 min walk from the beach.
Awesome food, staff, ambience everything.. loved the mixed sauce spaghetti and butter naan. One might wonder since when breads started getting special recognition that too a very common naan. But trust one really needs to try it and you will understand it then. We will never forget that naan. Tysm for the experience.
A great diner/shack vibe restaurant just off the Cavellosim beach. Located on the access road itself it is hard to miss. Great service, which is not only prompt but includes flavorful meals and with an decent menu list. Weekend evenings and other occasions they have a vibrant live music scene which is energetic as well as having good musicians. Both partly indoors and outdoor seating is available. Toilets are clean and décor is fantastic. Must visit if you're in the neighborhood.
