Located in the busy Elante mall, it brings one of the best cuisines of the world to one of the best cities in India. Do not judge the place by the tables which are almost empty almost all the time. These deserted tables always made me not to go inside this place thinking I might not have a good experience. Also as Indians, we are more used to having Chinese cuisines in an Indian eatery rather than in an authentic Chinese place. Wanted to just get in and experience what this place had to offer. Ambience is very good. Cannot comment much about the staff, as we were the only table occupied, all attention were on us. Coming to the main aspect, we were blown away by the quality and the taste of the food this place has to offer. We ordered chicken Manchow soup. Arguably it’s the best soup I have ever had. Chicken teppanyaki was so good. The spices were spot on. Chicken was so tender and fresh, it melted right away in our mouths. Noodles with hot chicken basil gravy was mixed with so many flavours. We really felt the satisfaction of tasting an authentic Chinese cuisine. I can still feel the taste just by looking at these pics. I would highly recommend anyone to go and try the dishes and get blown away. A big thumbs up👍
We visited Kylin on a Sunday night. Thankfully it was quiet and uplifting. Light music in the background was just perfect.
We had asparagus tempura which was top notch ! Chicken teppanyaki was the highlight of the night, a must must have in Kylin!
We did also have dimsums which were not soothing for our palate.
Gonna definitely visit more soon!

One of the only few places in Chandigarh offering delectable japanese and Asian cuisine. Ordered their exotic sushi platter and it was delicious, specially with the tasteful wasabi and soy sauce. Matched with the calming jasmine tea, had an amazing experience.

Kylin is not about luxury dinning but also luxury delivery. Recently I ordered food from here and it was just what I had been looking for past so many days. Have ordered from few more places but none were upto the similar mark. They made sure the customer is getting what they get in the restaurant.
I was really happy to receive it on time, with everything intact just, a spill of the the schezwan and chilli sauce. It might be a delivery guy handling so can't blame either.
About the food
Chilli chicken was actually the classic chilli chicken with good quantity and quality of food. All veggies and chicken were will prepared and just looked delicious. Taste it was authentic indie Chinese food quite spicy though. But this is how indian Chinese taste like.
Bang bang angry chicken the another dish had great taste but I feel the quantity of the gravy was a bit less. Though it can always be improved and given in well portion size. The scallions, crunch of peanuts and the gravy could be nothing less than one could ask for.
Yum is the word for both the dishes. I hope to order more from here. Or even try to visit the place soon.

I love the cuisine , the aroma that comes while you enter the restaurant, the superb atmosphere and I can keep going .. it’s a 100/100 on restaurant- considering the cleanliness, the courteous staff, the well presented food and finally the taste of the food ! I have been to Kylin a couple of times now. Experience has been decent depending on the food that we ordered. This time tried roasted garlic vegetables and it was a good one to start with. The serving was sufficient to last for 2-3 people. The spring roll as add on was like cherry on the cake. 😛
Also their pan fried Thai noodles is my favorite. Must try.
Also , tried Veg Sushi. Well it was decent. I have a neutral opinion about sushi however contemporary taste buds would love it.
Do not try wasabi for fun. It was bitter spicy 🥺

This has to be my favourite oriental restaurant in Chandigarh! In the starters the chicken with bullet chillies, pork belly and Asian green salad are excellent as is the Green Thai curry with sticky rice. The service matches the food and definitely worth visiting repeatedly.
This is the best restaurant for Chinese cuisine in Chandigarh. On our first visit, We had Veg Manchow soup, Dumplings - Mixed Vegetable in Sichuan Chili Oil(Kylin Signature) and Veg Sizzler. On the next visit, we had Non Veg Dumplings platter, Teppanyaki Chicken in hot basil sauce, Chicken fried rice and Cranberry Sangria. The food looked great, smelled even better and tasted heavenly. Ambiance is a plus with soothing lights and a good variety of music(Pop music from 70's the first time and latest Hollywood songs the next time). Service was quick too. Do check out the drinks for the day on the board.

Best Asian experience I have had in Chandigarh, the food was extremely well prepared and there was no doubt about loving it. We had Teppenyaki chicken with Garlic rice, Garlic vegetable flat noodles and wok chicken with bullet chillies. The food was absolutely delicious and finger licking, do try the fried garlic sauce along, keep up the good work guys!!

Loved the bao buns , baby potatoes and chicken satay. The sweet corn soup and dismum platter is a must try

With a warm and professional ambience it is a classy and edge cut place situated in the most famous mall of Chandigarh city. Kylin rolls out some great Indian and Chinese that we experienced whether it was the momos or Chinese starters to thai curries and so on. The decor is good and the lighting is very apt as well as the music is ideal to compliment the same in the background. Good for both Veg and Non Veg who want taste for money.

Both meals were delicious and full of flavour. The soup was nice and hot and there was quite a few piece of prawn in the soup as well as vegetables. Absolutely loved the soup.
The fried rice was perfect. There was nothing wrong about this meal and I absolutely enjoyed it.
The food was a bit pricey but I guess it’s worth the price.

Lovely place. Went after a long time. Good food though the quality of food has deteriorated yet not that bad. The staff is courteous. Overall a good experience.
Kylin is a nice place with a decent ambience and the service is really nice. Quality and quantity of food is also decent with one bowl serving two people. The food is perhaps overwhelming and the sushi is very good. One thing I would recommend is the tempura sushi and the khao souy. It is a great place for family dinners and hangout with friends.

This is my go-to place for lunch in Elante mall. The place serves really good Asian food in a nice, quaint setting. And now they even deliver through Zomato! My favorite things to have here are dimsums (both veg and non-veg), basil chicken rice bowl, and the lettuce cups. Tried their 5 spice chicken and tepinyakis (sorry can’t spell it) too - really yum!
Good ambience, went after ages, shangai chicken dumpling and green thai curry, teppanyaki chicken with water chestnut and chilly garlic were good. Service is prompt.

This place offers Asian cuisine. The ambience is okay and the food served is not authentic yet appetising. We ordered Thai papaya salad and Hakka noodles sizzler. The Thai salad was short of raw papaya. The staff is cooperative and attentive. It’s good if they play Burmese or Japanese music instead of Bollywood. It will make the experience better !

I ordered the spicy salmon sushi as it was the chef special, it stood true to the Japanese value. The salmon was fresh and amazing, the wasabi could have been a bit stronger but nonetheless was worth every dime I paid. All in all sushi is a very acquired taste and if you are a sushi fan you must check this place out.

That rating is 4 as per Chandigarh stadards. If i had to compare it with places i have tried outside of chandigarh, it would be a 3.2 to 3.5.
Ambience: It's an okay ambience with decent interiors. They have a lovley red theme but the problem is they are in a mall and they have huge windows. So the light from the windows sort of destroys the theme. They could have invested some on curtains or better window panes. The seating needs to improve a lot.
Drinks: Didn't order any.
Food: We ordered
▪Spicy Salmon Roll: They were pretty good. Great taste. Perfect crunchiness of tempura flakes. And no cucumber! Somehow the taste of cucumber kills the taste of sushi, i was glad they didn't ruin the salmon roll with it. Probably the only place in Chandigarh you get a decent sushi.
▪Pan Thai noodles with black bean sauce: This was below average. One thing that really kills any noodle dish is if it doesn't have enough noodles. They had a lot of unnecessary veggies and hardly two spoons of noodles, which was horribly disappointing. The taste was decent but the messed up with the portions. Don't waste your time and money on it.
Service: The service was decent. Neither exceptionally warm nor horribly bad.
Value for money: It's probably expensive for its location and what it offers. But even so overall it's affordable.
They have a lot of potential for improvement.

It’s the spot where I began an unlikely romance over a hot plate of Dimsums. The dimsums, oh I have lost count of how many did I eat in one go. Trust me, the dimsums along with the chilli dip is something you don’t wanna miss.
Apart from the dimsums, you’ll find truly remarkable authentic Chinese food in Kylin Experience. The chilli fish, the sushi, and the veggies in salt and pepper, and baby potatoes, these have my heart. Not to forget the Coconut Icecream which tasted absolutely delicious. Every now and then, it can be worthwhile to cheat on your reliable go-to.

We were looking for a lunch place in elante mall and stumbled upon Kylin experience. The hostess wasn't at the entrance and we literally wandered around for 10 mins before the staff helped us to our table.
Thankfully, things got better after that and the food was pretty neat. We had chicken satay and basil chicken for starters along with dimsums and everything was quite nice.
The main course followed and again, no complaints on the food!
Enjoyed the meal and I won't mind going back again when I am in chandigarh next.
Hopefully next time, there would be someone at the entrance to guide us to our table!
Prawn tempura roll, dragon roll and Thai green curry were absolutely delicious. Thier homemade ice-creams are a must try as well as the mandarin and basil mocktail. The ambiance is very warm and friendly and the staff attentive and helpful. It has always been a great experience dining at kylin.

Rice bowls are an integral part of the oriental cuisine. Japanese, Korean and Chinese cuisines have their unique versions of this dish and the different varieties of the same are much loved and adored all over the world.
One of the best places to enjoy authentic and delicious oriental cuisine in Chandigarh is Kylin, in Elante mall. Being a vegetarian I was always skeptical of visiting this place as I thought it had few options for vegetarians. However, I recently visited Kylin when I was invited there as part of a food blogger’s meet.
We were served the newly launched Asian bowl menu. This is an ongoing food festival where a number of curated bowl meals are available for the guests to try. A single bowl meal is sufficient for a person as it is filling and very delicious.
There are almost as many as eleven different bowl meals to choose from ranging from salads, vegetarian bowls and non-vegetarian bowls. I got to try the vegetarian ones and I loved every single thing that I tried.
We started with the ‘Farmer’s market green quinoa salad bowl’. This was a quinoa salad that was so very tasty. First time in my life have I liked a quinoa salad so much.
Next I had the ‘Hot stone China bowl’. This vegetarian bowl was served with Yellow noodles in black pepper sauce. The flavor of this was too nice with aromatic herbs and authentic Chinese veggies adding to the flavor.
I did some research on the origin of this dish and found out that the hot stone bowl could be linked to several theories. Some people believe that it was served traditionally at temples as the ingredients were simple to get even in monasteries. Other theories trace the origin back to Asian courts.
Whatever be the origin, we loved every bit of this dish and felt every bit as esteemed as the original tasters of this dish would have felt.
The next dish on my plate was the 'Gluten free brown rice bowl'. It had light Malaysian vegetables with young turmeric and coconut milk served with steamed brown rice. The veggies in this one were so delicious that I devoured them all. Also, the coconut flavor was very mild and tasteful. Another great preparation by Kylin.
The Asian bowl meal menu is going to be available only till the 2nd of August so if you like what you just read, go and check out this amazing menu at Kylin. It is definitely a delightful experience.

I've been here a couple of times and my experience has been mostly good. Except when I ordered Japanese (But I can't say for sure as I don't have much experience with Japanese food). I've tried Crackling spinach corn with roasted garlic (It is amazing), crispy lotus stem was average, Wok tossed chicken with bullet chillies was good, Five spice chicken was amazing, Chocolate mahjong and ice-cream spring rolls are nice too !

It was our first time to taste the authentic Japanese cuisine and we chose Kylin. And it has not let us down. Food preparation was superb, ambience was awesome and the staff behaviour was so good. We tasted Salmon Sushi, Dimsums and Teppanyaki udon. Everything was magical about this place. Loved it ♥️

Well this was my third visit here, they have good options for Ramen, I love it, other then that other food items are a little to the mark, needs some improvement to the recipes
Kylin has excellent food on offer along with an elegant ambience and great/quick service. We tried the dumpling platter (we asked for an all chicken but they usually have a mix of chicken and fish) which has 10 assorted kind. These were very underwhelming. But combined with the 3 dips/sauces which they offer, these tasted great. We then ordered fish appetisers and green Thai curry with plain rice for main course. This was easily amongst one of the better tasting Thai curries I’ve tasted. The flavours were correctly balanced, very subtle and meat/veggies were cooked perfectly. Highly recommended!

We ordered Avacado Maki Roll which was really good and Rice Stone bowl which was really fresh full of veggies and excellent sauce. We also ordered Chinese Sizzler which was good and Ice Cream spring rolls which are very unique and tasty. Enjoy all these with Jasmine Tea which is a must have here. Overall a great experience.
We have visited many times this excellent restaurant in last two years. The reason ??
Two dishes :
1. Sushi ( they offer many types , but we like Salmon and another Dynamite
2. Chilli prawn
They have branded themselves for Asian cuisine -Thai , Chinese etc.
The interior is plain and basic , but food is really tasty !
The staff are very polite .
It’s pricey , yet taste will adjust your price pinch!
Sushi was very good & ramen was very good must try 👍❤️
We actually did not plan to visit Kylin or to have the Asian food when we were looking for options during our wait for The Batman to start. We visited anyway cause the other places were completely packed but what a decision it was. We were a little confused in what to order but the server helped and recommended great options. Firstly by the quantity of dishes (which I think should be a little better as compared to price) we thought we could've ordered more but when the main course arrived we thought the opposite. We were stuffed generously and were talking how good was the meal afterwards and also the service - the staff is well versed and attentive, the type of care you'd expect from a slightly premium place. I won't go into explaining each and every dish and it's taste the overall experience was good and one must definitely try this place.
I tried Kylin Experience about 4 years ago and I started loving it since day one! ❤️ They have a very good ambience and their food is simply fantastic! ❤️ My current favorites are Baby Pepper Potatoes, Virgin Mojito, and Veg Dimsum Platter. ❤️ I would highly recommend Kylin if you are planning to dine-in at the Nexus Elante Mall.

This place truly embeds nothing but authenticity to the food & presentation (serves asian, chinese, sushi and thai)
The ambience is vibrant and yet has a very classy & calm vibe to it.
The food taste is authentically delicious, portions are decent and service is great.
However, the category is a fine dine in and accordingly the prices aren't very pocket friendly.

3. Mushroom & bok choy dimsums - 4/5
4. Teppanyaki shredded chicken with koreon sauce (served with sticky garlic fried rice) - 4/5

Kylin experience is a wonderful casual dining restaurant serving Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese and Asian cuisine. Wonderful bar with beautiful décor. In love with the vibe of this place and bang on music. Staff was really kind and served us quickly.
Excellent food. Hygiene and COVID-19 precautions on point (eg. they had sanitizers available for each table). Hospitality was great.
Everything was fresh, delicious and served in very optimal portions. Everything was cooked to perfection.We had took the dimsum lunch which was delicious and well priced. We even had their soup (hot&sour) and Thai curry & rice, all tasted really delicious. The ambiance is nice.
Totally worth the price. 😊
If you're looking for authentic sushi and dimsum it's a must go place.
Had a great time here and looking forward to come again with family.

Excellent food , excellent service - a little bit slow at times.
My table besides the kitchen I discovered a small insect (will not name) moving on the table. That portion needs to be cleaned and the kitchen well sanitized .
Overall I don’t mind found back to Kylin.
