Probably the best restaurant for delicious South Indian food in Chandigarh.
The dosas and uttapams were very tasty along with the chutney.
But the prices of approximately 200+ for a dosa is a bit too much.
Probably one of the best place for South Indian dishes. But this place doesn’t disappoint you with verities of other dishes that it has to offer like Chole bhature, puri bhaaji, noodles etc. Some of the must tries are rawa dosa, idli and mix veg uttapam.
It is a place where I can go again. Good South Indian Food. Ambience had a essence of sandlewood fragrance.

No better place for authentic South Indian food . Unassuming and clean place. Good for family outings with vegetarian preferences. The filter coffee’s highly recommended with options for strong or stronger The washrooms are also regularly cleaned

We had pav bhaji (bhaji was tasty), pav could be better, medu wada, dahi wada and chole bature - All were tasty. Place was clean. Well maintained. Seats outside also in case you need to wait. Excellent service. Paid parking outside. You can go upstairs to the air conditioned area too.
Very nice place to go if you are looking for South Indian options in Chandigarh. Situated in sector 17 market, thus easy to reach and park.

Sagar Ratna in Sector-17 Plaza is the best place to get authentic south Indian cuisine.
It's amazing for vegetarian people with lots of options available for South Indian, North Indian and Chinese dishes.
It's too crowded during peak hours.
Service is still fast and the food is really great.
Tasty, clean, fast and great value for money, lots of parking in the evening, toilet is clean, it would be better if they have two toilets or make both toilets as unisex instead of men and women so that the women's toilet that remains vacant most of the time gets used often as well.
South Indian is amazing. They have a variety of dosas, so if in mood of a different taste go for it. Also, I like Chinese and ordered spring roll dosa, it was yumm too. Didn't like chole bhature much though.
There’s not a lot of South Indian breakfast place open early in Chandigarh but Sagar Ratna isn’t one of them - they open relatively earlier than other places. 4 stars for food and 5 stars for service.
After AGES had such nice South Indian food. Had almost given up and then went here with a friend…
The masala dosa was SO SO TASTY and so flavorful, cooked perfectly..
Most places skimp out on Coconut Chutney and Sambhar but here they give you ample extra portions of it..
