Dhabha unlike s dhabha. Staff and service is good but at times they keep bottle of mineral water on the table and wait for you to open it up. Reasonably priced, staff is attentive, service too is fine.

Nice authentic place to go out with family and friends. The place is built in a really nice old school style which makes a good mood to start with. The music is not too loud which is a good thing. Food served is also really good and the service is also really great. Had a really amazing time there.

Time and again the cravings for the taste from your mom’s kitchen can really get on your nerves but “Khaayo Piyo” has always proven to be my saviour. This is my only go-to place when I’m craving for good food. By good food, here I mean Authentic Indian food. Everytime I visit this place, i end up ordering ‘Paneer Lababdar’ with Butter Naan. Again today I ordered my favourite dish and like always it was served with the perfect blend of freshness and ingredients that takes me back home. I couldn’t resist to relish my food till the last bite! Not to forget, Chilli Garlic noodles are a must try. Looking forward to be hosted by this place with same zest and zeal till I’m here.
Quantity of food was good, ambience is good. Tables for famil dinner and decorations around are nice. Main course was brilliant, but disappointed with starter (garlic bread with cheese) there was no garlic in it only cheese. Bread were not crispy not well baked. But again quanitity was good 6 large pieces. Recommended for main course

Loved the ambience as well as the quality and quantity of food. Totally a family place where all can easily get comfortable with the go.. Not have given a 5* just because of the waiting time.. when 10 mins of waiting last long up to half n hr which actually spoils the mood.. other than that everything was superb.!!

Chilly Paneer:The perfect taste,paneer was very soft which is not found everywhere.
Mountain Mojito: The taste is good.
Daal Makhani and Mast Kalander Paneer: it was yummy.
family Naan: It was soft and tasty but presentation could have been improved.
Over all nice place for main course.

The place has tasty north indian food and the ambience is based on the village theme but I felt the space is bit conjusted. The service and staff was good. We ordered drinks like Virgin mojito which was too sweet and lime soda that doesn't taste well. Overall the food was good.
An authentic desi restaurant, food in desi ghee with yummy delicacies. Very cooperative and friendly staff and good services. No hard drinks available yet, but we were told would be available in next two months.

It’s worth it. The Ambience was great, waiters were very gentle and polite, food was ultimate and happy with the quantity served. when I visited, I was lucky that I got a chance to visit cos it was the very first time I visited Chandigarh.

The garden fresh pizza was loaded with fresh, exotic, juicy vegetables. Its crust was thin and crispy. The cheese was decent quality. One of the best thin crust pizzas I've tasted. certainly the best square pizza I've come across. Quite an achievement for a restaurant that claims Punjabi food to be it's specialty.
the decor is core Punjab, boldly displayed with graffiti and objects hanging off the wall. music was a little loud, but the restaurant complied in reducing the volume.
it is a gr8 place to dine here . The punjabi dhaba theme gives a more feel your taste .food like DUMA DUM MAST KALANDER and CUMBERED MUSHROOM with its MISI ROTI and BUTTER NAAN is awesome..Sitting arrangement is fantastic n more than that the helping staff is also very admirable .. MUST VISIT👍🏼
Khayo piyo is definitely one of the different restaurants in chandigarh specifically because of the interiors here... the food is really good... i tried the non veg hot and sour soup and a combo which had a portion of noodles and chili chicken and i really loved it... also ordered another chicken chili garlic noodles that was again really yum... the ambience is surely going to light up ur mood... brwonie points for the interiors!!! oh n their crockery was different n i sort of liked it too 👍🏼

An unplanned dinner at Khao Piyo with friends and family turned out to be a worthy visit. We went to some other place for a birthday treat; however, didn’t like the food and thought of trying main course at this restaurant.
Styled on a modern dhaba theme, the outlet had an ample space to sit and was quite occupied even on a weekday. The interiors were quirky and the setting area was just fine. The service was prompt and the guys knew their menu well.
We tried the below savories:
Kadi Pakora: I was surprised to find the amazing taste of kadi. The best till date; never get delicious kadi at any other place outside my home. No one makes a good Punjabi styled kadi; except this place. It’s perfectly tangy and the pakodas were tender.
Tawa Styled Arbi: Tawa styled arbi was quite delicious and heavy on stomach. The masala was fine and the arbi was very soft to break and chew.
Hyderabadi Soya: Very similar to arbi, the champ was roasted in tandoor and the taste was fine. Like arbi, soya champ was tender and appetizing.
Baingan Bharta: The least liked dish; the bharta was not as expected. I didn’t find the aroma of smoke which comes from a roasted eggplant. The tang was missing from the dish.
Mixed Veg Raita: The curd was bit sour, but the taste was fine.
Breads: Mixed breads were equally good as other dishes.
Looking forward to visit them again.
Ok so I am very excited to write this review because after such a long search I have found one great place to have Indian cuisine. Yes you read it write, it is the finest place in tri-city to have Indian cuisine, according to me. The food looks and tastes extra-ordinary, just too good to put into words. I tried panner makhani, malai kofta, chilly chicken and chicken handi biryani, with lassi and fresh lime for drinks. For all the chicken lovers, chilly chicken is must try. Not making food description any longer, I would just say go for it! Talking about the interiors, it is a Punjabi themed restaurant or deluxe dhaba, as they write it. The will make your eyes droll around to see it all. Great work guys, I have surely marked it as my favourite for Indian cuisine.
We came to celebrate valentine day. We had late lunch. Food was good and the selection of menu too. Staff is polite and helpfull. We enjoyed our time. Chilli paneer was nice. I liked kulcha too. And thanks to treat us as a special guest because we were dinning in odd timings. Thanks to Harman for his efforts to make us feel to visit again.
I am very fond of food as i experienced many cuisines till deep. Food here worth its price. Ambiance is good. I have suggestion to play sufi songs instead of punjabi pops. That will improve the ambiance of the place. And i would like to suggest to keep knifes too on tables. As i know its dhaba concept but still people are not of dhaba segment.

One of the best restaurant for al-a-carte food they have very good food options for vegetarians and non vegetarians people, the food quality is very good and service is great 👍 also very good mocktails menu for non drinkers.
Look of a Dhaba, good food and lively ambience is how I would describe Khao Piyo. I had ordered Til waala chicken tikka which was a hit..Juicy and tender chicken full of flavours. Also ordered dal makhani and chicken rarha, both of which tasted very good. In conclusion, it was a very tassali baksh food ☺️☺️ Sector 26 needed a place which is friendly to your pocket.

In contrast to the reviews they have, I found the restaurant really nice, the quality and quantity of food was up to the mark. In a restaurant of such level you don't expect quantity to be of road side dhaba level. Really good ambience, great place to come with friends and family.
The atmosphere is good, staff is attentive and quick. The space inside is quite good.
They've tried to make it look like one of those road side punjabi dhabas. Lighting is good, the quality of food is not different from other restaurants but overall it's good, only mineral water bottles are available inside, we were a group of 7 people, and it costed us about Rs 3365 ( 3 daal makhni, 2 paneer lababdaar, 1 shahi paneer, 1 chicken, 21 butter naan, 2 honey chilli cauliflower 5 mineral water bottles). It's a good place, not that attractive, but being in sector 26 it's an affordable place to dine in.
About the quantity:
1) Daal makhni - it was able to serve 4 of us (filling up the small bowls ).
2) panner lababdaar - 3 people.
3) honey chilli cauliflower - 2 people.

Probably the best place to have Indian food in Chandigarh. Do try their butter chicken and chilly chicken if you like non veg and Malai Kofta if you are a veg. Perfect place to take family out for a lunch or dinner.
