This place is very special to me. Lots of childhood memories. We used to live in sector 22 D till I was 13. These was our favourite place for mithai for every special occasion. Even when my parents got married back in 1987.all mithais and snacks came from this shop. My absolute favourite is Kala Gulab jamun, it's taste u can't get any where else. Also Chole bhature, Gajar pak, samosa, paneer pakoda.

Ordered kalakand from Doaba Sweets , I like kalakand this much that I can't resist myself for proper pic.
But the taste I have expected by its look was same to same.I like it .
Huge fan of the sweets here since childhood. My most favourite Indian snack from here is the samosa. And the sweets have a good variety of options as well.

Nice place a little old but still an old gem. The place is one of the oldest place of chandigarh. Population for sweets at that time still the food is great I do visit for chana bhatura and dosa. Masala dosa is really great a desi type of dosa but taste is great. I do visit this place often.

One of the oldest sweet shop of chandigarh. The place looks old with the same old decor and thing. But the food tastes good. I had these chole bhature with lassi there. The chole bhature were really good. Freshly made and so soft. Accompanied by chana and aloo curry. Both were great in taste. And lassi was chilled and thick. Had a full tummy food. Plus it was really tasty.
Talking about the plus point first ... i love love love their samosas . Super fresh , crisp and yum. I find them the best. Coming to chana bhatura with which they serve aloo sabzi as well. Tried this very recently . I have been a fan of samosas for long time. Bhatura was good , served hot , fresh , soft . The issue is with flavours of sabzi , both chana as well as aloo. Did not like it. I ll recommend to taste their samosas β₯οΈ they are 5/5 .

Visited this place almost after 10 years. But it didn't change a bit. Same ambience, same food and same quick service. We ordered sambar vadda and Masala dosa. Both dishes were delicious. I remember they sever best chaanna bhatura and aloo samosas too. Truly a best stop for quick meal.
This a place i have been visiting for past 8-9 years and still they have the same taste till now ... Nothing has changed .. Whenever you visit them must try masala dosa and panner noodles they are the best.

Actually looking for Noodles so got to know about this foody place.
They do not keep much variety but all they had I thought must be worth to remove your hunger panks.
Coming to my order :
1. Noodles.... : yummy, loves the taste with quality and quantity. Every thing waa upto the mark. Must tryπ
2. Masala Dosa: nice in taste, prep was good its a normal dosa wont get disappointment.
3. Gulab Jamun : I think it's a speciality of them. A large ball of gulab jamun hot and yummy, this too must try.
Restaurant must work more upon cleaner tables and floors, Sitting arrangement can be improved.
Else no complaints from food. Yummy

Tried Onion Uttapam and Cold rasmallai
To be frank Onion Uttapam was quite good but not so much lovable .
Rasmallai βs Syrup was really fresh and yes lipsmacking though the piece of sweet in those syrup needed to be more drowned in the rasmallai that would have ensured the syrup to pour inside the sweet piece .
Rest was a good experience but Uttapam could be more better.
As to the taste it was good but not as Uttapam as they are served in South part of India or Eastern part of India.
This place has been here for ages and their few selected items are good at all times. On sunday at lunch time you donot get a place to sit and same goes at the time of festival. I like their Chole Bhature the most and they are so easy on the pocket as well.He servers them with chole, aloo ki sabji and onions or radish. Β Even their channa samosa is good .Service is fast and efficient. One of the oldest places I keep on repeating. Total value for money.

NOW, I want to share my experience of awesum Masala dosa & Chole bhutare at this place. Guys, trust me better than many food joints in Chandigarh even the branded ones, light on pocket and taste wonderful.
Though they don't have that fancy sitting arrangements, shiny lights but who cares, I don't because I believe in TASTE and that what they have.

Overall food is delicious here with an exception that they tend to serve bit spicy. If you are not fan of spicy food and it can be a little problem as level of spices are at 8/10.
Eaten Chana-Puri and Aaloo-Pyaz parantha for a breakfast. Both tasted homemade. As I mentioned, Chana and Aaloo-Sabji served with were little spicy, though was not a problem for me. They also add chopped green chillis in Parantha, you may request not to add according to your liking. Don't forget to order plain yoghurt as it was finger licking delicious π
Also, probably only shop in the area that opens at 7 in the morning.
it is finenest restaurant which serves South Indian diahes near by and has an decent price , it is a family restaurant we have been visiting this place since 5-6 year and we really enjoy dosa over there with sweet lasi . you can visit with friends as well .it has a really fast service as well with a perfect sweet mouth refreshments in the end . not a quiet place

Disa was good but chane chawal ws cook has skipped to add any masala, it was boiled chane.

I tried Masala Dosa here, the quantity is very high according to the one person's, if you are very hungry, you can eat quite comfortably. if we talk about price so it's very reasonable go and must try once.
