With advent of so many multi-cuisine restaurants, cafes, lounges and even fine dining restaurants, the sheen of sector-35 restaurant lane is almost gone. Amidst all the gloom, some old favorite hotels like GK International, KC, Maya and Park Inn still manage to hold their old customers by providing a nostalgic experience in their restaurants.
The USP of all these places and particularly Bamboo Grove is that despite the revamped decor, they try their best to maintain the same ambience that we have always felt since decades. Dim yet comforting lighting, conventional fine/casual diner's furniture, a live singer who is singing the same old playlist that is played in almost every restaurant, yet Bamboo Grove's singer sings really well.
Coming to the food, neither there is anything unique and nor there is anything below the usual standards, fresh and easy on health. Although GK was always known for its Tandoori snacks platter, yet their continental snacks are equally good.
During my recent visit, thid restaurant was a second option, almost a Plan-C when all other plans failed, yet I am going to visit Bamboo Grove every time I feel the need to experience the nostalgia.
Surely one of the best dining places in sector 35. Helpful staff, competent ambience and good-tasting food. Loved the Mushroom Chilly with Gravy, and also Tutty Fruity for dessert. The garlic bread, however was substandard.

One of the awesome place I have visited in Chandigarh. The ambience great and with live slow music it was pleasant. The food was tasty and were upto its value. The service was good and the staffs were friendly. The snacks were very good. The chicken kadai and gobhi mussalam were really awesome. The dal makhani was also good. The overall experience was great and up to the mark.
A pure fine dine experience here at a reasonable price. Loved the food here- Daal Bukhara, Paneer Do Pyaaza and Dum Aaloo are very good. The rotis are soft!

Music is not that good. They must change the singer, since he doesn't sing songs suited for the occasion.
Otherwise, this is a good, value for money restaurant located right in sector 35.
Good place. Good ambience. Good taste. Good sitting. Good service. Good nominal prices. Recommended for family gatherings and functions. Live music makes the evening more beautiful here. Dont forget to ask for discount. Happily give discounts.
Good for a small gathering, went there for a reception party. Quite a good space, gave only four stars because of their stinky toilets. Rest food and their service was good.
