This place is best for sweet tooth. Macaroons was also good . Nice place to visit
Having a thing for sweet i love going here for the cup cakes really love their butterscotch cupcake and red velvet cupcake. Tiny ones are great not too much and not too less.
I ordered from this place, thinking it was a new outlet which I have not already tried. However, I was a bit surprised to see that it is the same as Monica's. I already love that place and they have really pretty and tasty cupcakes.
They serve one of the best cake jars. The cherry and chocolate and the red velvet is a hit on their menu. The hot coffee and the veg quiche is something you can enjoy too!!

An impeccable place for spending a quality time with your fam, or meeting clients over a cup of coffee.
Tastes very good, made with intelligence and love👻
Must visit!
SWEET TOOTH 😛😛
Must visit
To this cutest store for cakes cookies muffins and many more
I love to eat sweet
Both Monica’s and petite sweet are amazing for this
Must visit and try these amazing cakes ♥️♥️♥️
This is my favourite place for desserts..I love their cakes & cupcakes they also have gluten free items..I’ve recently tried their tiramisu and it was amazing..red velvet cake & chocolate cupcakes and their brownies & mud cake..everything is perfect!!
the sandwich (full of chicken) and tart (tiny, tasty) were super fresh and gave me good feelings after a hard working day. Thanks for fast delivery as well.
Nice sweet little place to have something sweet. Offerings are good but standard in terms of innovation or say nothing special or different. They definitely taste sweet and good. As sweet as the desserts are, bill is not Petite.
I got a mixed box of cupcakes and they look beautiful! I haven’t tasted them all yet but the Nutella cupcake was mind blowing and red velvet is absolutely an all time favourite!!! Hope rest are as delicious as they look but overall my experience has been quite 🤩
One of my absolute favourite patisseries in town. I love it because of it’s ambiance, furniture, and goodies of course 😋
This place does some seriously delectable macaroons. Every time I visit this place, leave with the pack of macaroons for sure (because my love for macaroons is inevitable) 💕
Also, the teeny tiny cupcakes they do are super adorable. 😻
Visit this place with friends & colleagues to hog on the confectionary.
it was exceptionally tasty..
I ended my sector 8 food trail on a sweet note. This cute vintage bakery’s macaroons are to die for. I would recommend their cream cheese and the chocolate flavors. Absolutely delicious and they simply melt in the mouth.
You can put an end to your cravings here! One of the oldest and still the best in town.
Petite n Sweet also has yummy sandwiches and nice macrons!!!!
This is one place i have been visiting since a long time . Ilve the chocolate brownie ,nutella cupcake and chocolate cupcake here . Though i fee that the cupcakes are sometimes very dry (sometimes ) but i would still suggest everyone to try them once . Also the pricing is on a higher side as compared go the quantity of the dishes .
A good place to have coffee though
Love the cupcakes made by them. Must try cupcakess❣️❣️ . Salted caramel & red velvet are awesome 💁. Chocolate cupcakes are also good. I also like the range of sandwiches they offer.
The place is small but cosy, offering a decent variety of desserts. My favourite are the blueberry pie and tiramisu. Flavours are fresh, and presentation is also upto mark.
Coffee and dessert place
A cup of latte with a Mississippi Mud pie 😋 perfect stress breaker. 🙇Overall a good takeaway. Coffee was good and the pie was full of chocolate and fudge is a must try. Cupcake was delicious
Red Velvet cupcakes are overpriced but are good
Chocolate cupcake was yummy but very average
Had a good experience
A must try for chocolate and cupcake lovers. 🍫
This bakery actually attracted me because of its look n feel. It will definately draw your attention because of white color theme. It does have some new and different varieties. However, a bit overpriced. I tried a cute little red velvet cupcake. A creamy rose and a butterfly over it was an add-on, which I really liked. The cake however was a bit dry, but the smooth cream with a perfect tinch of sweetness over it compensated for it.
I can speak for the salted caramel cupcake, cold coffee and black forest slice from Monica' s.
The salted caramel cupcake is the best cupcake I've ever had. I give 4 stars for the cupcake any day. It is a little expensive, but it's one of those things you must try before you die.
Cold coffee is mediocre. Nothing special.
Black forest slice was authentic, actual cherries in it and cream, not the fake overly sweet icing kind.
TRY THE CUPCAKE!!
Visited again:
Don't try the big cupcakes as they are quite dry. Opt for the minis! The macarons are so so.
instagram @thegreedygut for pictures & detailed reviews
This cute little shop seems very enticing. Indeed it has some great variety of cakes, muffins, sandwiches, and other bakery products. At the front, the red velvet muffins is always there to lure you, a bit costly but worth the taste. The owner is very sweet and staff is good. I tried spicy guava drink also but it's not the worth. Otherwise Monica's has made both the shops a good place for bakery products.
This little outlet which i guess is in collaboration with monicas.
I ordered 6 cupcakes from them and i totally loved allthe flavours!
But i found it a little overpriced.
Charging around INR 110/- for a red velvet muffin is a way too much.
This is one reason why they arnt able to pull any crowd.
a small outlet that has a couple of tables for quick snacking on a tiny muffin, or sandwich, or gelato and the coffee. Its the best place to pick up the spillover sandwiches that earlier were available at monicas right across. don't know whether to call it an extension or an independent place....but its quite decent and girlie... am happy with the lil tidbits and touches that set a place apart from the cheek by jowl budget eateries nearby!
The ambience is lovely. I was mesmerised by all the beautiful cakes on display. Was confused what to pick. The blue berry tart was okay. I didn't really like it much. The crust had too much butter or fat. Wasn't worth eating. The mini cupcakes were the highlight. The red velvet with cream cheese frosting and the salted caramel cupcakes were delicious. Do try, you won't be disappointed
Excellent cup cakes, the nutella and caramel cup cake is a must try. The coffee is great, though the ice cream wasn't. Overall worth a visit.
I have visited this place many times and all of the times i have had a different experience.. I liked the Tiramisu.. The small cupcakes that they have are very fascinating.. But one thing that i feel is that their pastries and too sweet.. Everything has excess of sweetness which is not very pleasing.. They can improve a lot in the quality section.. ;)
Love love love love love love it ❤️
I love this place! I have a sweet tooth so it's one of my favourite place ! When I m in city I always visit this place ! Happiness is being in Chandigarh ❤️
This is a cosy little cafe kind of bakery. You enter the door to get mesmerised with the smell of coffee and ecstatic view of yum sweets. You sit in a little sitting provided there and sip your perfect cup of latte with a perfect tart. Love their chocolate mud cake and raspberry tart.
Ice cream festival, Sukhna Lake
ORDERED:
1. Strawberry Sorbet.
2. Red Velvet Gelato.
3. Biscottini Gelato.
REVIEW:
Today is the last day of the ice cream festival at Sukhna lake. Go try it before it's over!
I ordered the strawberry sorbet and red velvet Gelato from Monica's and believe me, it was the only thing worth trying at the festival. The sorbet had bits of strawberry seeds which was such a nice touch. Plus, the texture was spot on! Then the red velvet Gelato is a new addition to their menu. If you know how red velvet is made, you'd know that it's basically red colour added to the mix. But in order to avoid using chemicals in the Gelato, Monica's has used beets to give it that colour. Yes! Beets. Due to that, the Gelato had such subtle hint of beetroot flavour. Something new you guys must try!
The Biscottini Gelato was from Bella Vista hotel in Panchkula. Excessively sweet. When I say excessive, I mean so sweet that the sugar actually overpowers the biscottini flavour.
Go tonight and grab a cup of icecream before it ends!

Petite & Sweet, Sector - 8 inner market
ORDERED:
1. Nutella Brownie.
REVIEW:
Monica's is my favorite place when I want my quick caffeine fix. And obviously, there are days when their chocolate mousse or their cupcake makes way to my stomach 😳
This day was no different! Picked up my Cappuccino & Nutella brownie on a rainy day. It was perfect. The brownie was so rich in texture and so fudgy. And that Nutella just took it to another level!
Formerly known as gelato d'itlatia, Sweet n Petite I believe is an extension of the Monica's next door. I didn't expect much considering my last experience with the gateau nor the opera slice looking very appetizing, but I was so wrong.
The Nutella brownie and opera are by far the best cakes Chandigarh has seen. I'm not even exaggerating. Now, not all the items are great, but I would vouch for those two in particular.
Both comprising of quality ingredients- great texture of the brownie, temperamental buttercream with almonds and the correct amount of coffee on the opera, I couldn't ask for more.
im not a big fan of desserts , but sometimes one good thing canchange your mind.... never i had cupcakes usualy i never wanted to until i tried "geleta d itsliano" the superyummy cupcakes, fresh in taste, i ordered redbrlvet and nutela, both tast amazing, heavenly tasty..... willbe goong regularly... fullmarks i have no rxns to cut even a single star lol
One of the best places in Chandigarh to satisfy and pamper your sweet tooth and dessert buds :P
I like the place for a variety of reasons like - they serve one of the best ice-creams on town, they serve one of the best ice-creams in town and because they serve one of the best ice-creams in town :) :)
Also because the place is very near to my house, has a good ambiance, look and feel..
Take your better half / girl-friend for romantic dessert treat and I bet she won't be disappointed :) :)
Got to know about this place from a silly Facebook post 😜. But found its not at all silly and worth it. A very nice place to have some delicious and exotic sandwiches.
P. S. the best ice-cream ever 😉
From the Window of Gelato . Love the location of this small outlet with some seating . A Sandwich and some nice coffee to sip and the window which gives nice view . Sector 8 is always about a good crowd and hustle and bustle . .
The Coffee here tastes much better than CCD , Super Donuts . The Quality is excellent . After some nice Sandwich and Coffee taking a slice of cake from next door always add to the experience here .
Any day prefer the delicious cake there rather than the gelato .
And yes don't miss out on the Pastas , They get them fresh almost everyday and run out fast , so in case you are late , you might not get a hand on it . By 8 PM they almost get over with it . Sandwiches , Coffee and Pasta are a must try here and don't forget to add it up with a Slice from Pudding and Pies Next Door
Picked up a chocolate tart and slimmer's choice sandwich.the tart was good while the sandwich was average.they had a whole lot of other things like Nutella brownie, kathi rolls, red velvet cup cakes etc.the place has nothing exceptional to offer though.
Staff : I have been a regular for over 2 years now, so the staff is extremely cordial.
Location : It is an extension of monica's that is just adjacent to it. It is located in the inner market of 8 and basically the only good seating place there.
Food : I know people come here for ice-cream mainly but I am a big fan of their cappuccino and roasted almond roll ( ask them to warm it for you ). I have shared some of the most beautiful memories here while having these two.
Their oreo and mango shake are also a must have. The cupcakes are ofcourse without a doubt amazing.
Also, for the vegetarians out there, try their veg mint paneer sandwich ( again, get it warm) . If they don't have it, you can simply get it from Monica's and have it here.
Ambiance : The owner in her own statement intended to give you the feel of the small italian pizzeria's and it does so successfully.
Rates : It is perfectly suitable for students. The coffee's cost around 70-80 bucks. The cupcakes are the same.
Love the little Bite Sized Red velvet cupcake goodness they dish out! ditto for blueberry yoghurt,a healthier and if its possible, tastier alternative to gelato! Thankyou for satiating My sweet jaw's eternal cravings now n then ~

Summers are around the corner, and so is this place (literally! its a corner shop ;P) Situated right next to the famous Monica's and also perhaps owned by them, this place offers little scoops of heaven.
There isn't much sitting space but it hardly matters when what your'e ordering is some yummy Gelato, coffee or a cupcake.
Yes they serve coffee as well. Its nice to take a break, relax, just order a coffee, sit for a while and watch the mad market pass you by.
I personally love their sugar-free chocolate gelato. Its not just because its sugar-free but because it has that dark chocolate and less sugar taste. It is scrum. Many times after dinner, I crib to my hubby for a single scoop (pretty pleeease..:). I also like their mango flavored Gelato. And ooh before I forget, they have this one gelato that tastes like ferrero rocher, it is awesome!
Gelatos are a healthier version of ice-cream and it doesn't get more italian than this ;P and this place certainly does a good job at the texture and flavours.
Keep up the good work guys and continue being one my favourite places in town!
A great place for ice cream with sooo many flavours which are so nicely prepared. A must visit place.
This is a lovely little cafe with excellent coffee. I always stop by here (Monica’s) on my every visit to Chandigarh. Excellent rum balls and mud cake.
So fresh and tasty bakery items.
Just want to taste every item here.
Service is good and staff is polite.
Little bit space constraint.
Cinnamon roll and black coffee is must try
eatables and drinks from outside are strictly not allowed and now this petite nd sweet serving hot cocolates, beacause winter are incomplete without it
Nice small clean place....good quality food
