If you are a fan of South Indian cuisine, then Sagar Express is the place for you. As a food enthusiast, I have tried numerous restaurants that claim to serve authentic South Indian food, but none have come close to the quality and taste of Sagar Express.
One of the main reasons why Sagar Express stands out is because it is an extension of the renowned local chain, Sagar Ratna. Known for its high-quality food and exceptional service, Sagar Ratna has been a favorite among food lovers for years. And now, with Sagar Express serving the same quality of food, you can expect nothing less than perfection.
During my visit to Sagar Express, I had the pleasure of trying their Dahi Bhalla and Upma with Filter Coffee. To say that I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. The flavors were rich and authentic, leaving me craving for more. The Dahi Bhalla was perfectly spiced and had just the right amount of tanginess from the yogurt. The Upma was fluffy and packed with delicious South Indian flavors.
But what truly sets Sagar Express apart is its commitment to using fresh ingredients and traditional cooking techniques. Each dish is prepared with utmost care and attention to detail, ensuring that every bite is a burst of flavor.

The name changed to sagar express. I went with my friends for dinner. The food was super delicious, the environment is pleasant and peaceful and it is pocket friendly as well. You can visit here with your family, friends. We want to have rajasthani thali, but not able to have that because that is finished at approx 5:00pm so we had north thali and south thali, both were amazing😊😊
Booked a table for 10 people on my birthday. Ordered multiple plates of Masala dosas, Idlis and Vada sambhar. Everything tasted good as expected.
Will highly recommend this restaurant for South Indian food.
Everything is vegetarian. You can select anything from South Indian food, Chinese or North Indian food.

First of all, it's now renamed as Sagar Express. Hence calling it Sagar Ratna is wrong. Food was good.
My go to for South Indian food! And they have great North Indian as well.

A good place for South Indian dishes, sambhar is awesome also the chutneys. Do try the dahi vada, simply yum.

I visited their other restaurants aso in khatoo g and sec 17 all are good worth to visit.
Wanted to try Navratra Thali here..Wasn't much impressed with Navratra Thali, neither the preparations nor the taste. Rather Navratra Dosa made out of kuttu Atta with potato paneer stuffing, served with coconut chutney, aloo sabzi and sweet dahi, was worth having.. There was Sabudana Vada and Adaraki Paneer Tikka also on the Navratra menu which we didn't opt for this time..
