I recently visited this place. Staff here is too nice and supportive. All 5 stars for staff and service.
About food, I ordered 3 dishes and all of them tasted average except soya chaap.
Ambience is soothing and sitting was available without any waiting period.
Shree Suvarnam is a great place to quench your thirst for South Indian cuisine. Their menu is quite diverse and offers a lot of different options. I absolutely loved their Puliyogare, Dosas and all the chutneys. I’d definitely pay them another visit whenever I am back to Chandigarh.
I really love the food here. It was delicious right from kababs to dal makhani to dosa. I also ordered mojitos. New thing I saw and ordered from the menu was the chocolate dosa was quite delicious. I was billed for Rs 4000, in which I ordered plenty of things. However, one can expect around Rs500 pe
So as the name suggests, Shree Suvarnam, you get this authentic South Indian vibe and all that turns blue when you see the menu, its the same traditional South Indian + North Indian + Chinese delicacies, all bundled up.
But the add on to this is the wide variety of Dosa's, really would like to try t
Best restaurant in Chandigarh based on taste but price is a bit high. I still rate it 5 because one in a week I think everyone can afford. I will recommend the combo meals which are more affordable than other items on the menu. And "dahi vada" is the best:)
You can go with family and enjoy the day! They have amazing dishes and quality of food is good.
Food was good but I felt it to be overpriced . Tried navratra thali among other things . Service n ambiance will get full marks … priced a bit higher
Great decor and vibe. Reasonable prices. Good food, though quantity was a bit less for the price, the taste was well worth it. The pav bhaji, veg halka noddles, various paneer dishes and dosa and uttapam, and were delicious. Staff was also very polite and easy going.
Nice place good South Indian food.
Ambiance is good .
A decent south Indian place. I have tried Ghee Masala dosa which was yummy. Curd rice was good too. I am a fan of their sambhar, it's better than most South Indian joints in the city.
Great ambience and tasty food. We ordered south Indian platter and south Indian thali. Both were perfectly cooked. Sambhar was tasty. Most of the restaurants serve only nariyal and tomato chutney but here you are presented with green chutney also. Dosa was awesome and uttapam was crispy. Idli and va
A really nice place to have south indian food, it is basically shree rathnam. The food is really good, keeps up the south indian touch in the flavours. The food is overall good. If you like south indian, the platter is a must try.
Really Nice Ambience, it’s super clean and it’s very nice to hangout here. They are really sweet people, they were very welcoming and treated us very well: we stayed here for few hours before catching our bus to dharamshala and they helped us out a lot. The food is obviously great too- south indian
Nice place, pure vegetarian. It can be visited in group, or solo too, I got nice meal with good atmosphere, the service was great too.
Tried for the first time. everything was upto the mark. Can be revisited again .only the drinking water bottle was provided without our asking and it was over charged @ rs100. The rate of food items was ok but water bottle was too expensive.
Food is good but the restaurant need to work on services
I just had this wonderful South Indian thali, and it is so tasty that i am immediately posting this 5 star review! They took a while to get the thalis, the service is slow but totally worth the wait as everything seems to come fresh. The best South Indian thali in chd! But now am very full so will h
Food was finger licking 😋 with rejuvenating atmosphere and table service with staff is the great.
