Nice place to dine. Food is good, and service is great. Toddy is also available. I liked pork and beef dishes. Many seafood options are also available. Limited parking space is available, but they are managing it well. We can also park on the roadside.
One of the best dining options available at Kottayam for the Kerala style cusine. This has a toddy parlour attached to the restaurant and the dishes are naturally spicy. Sea food varieties are very famed and you get all varieties of beef, chicken, pork and other items like rabbit & quail. Lunch time is the most sought after time and advise is to reach the place by12.30 for convenience. Service is also commendable. Ac hall and non ac huts are also available.

Now I know what’s it all about!!! Best seafood ever!!! & we got Mr Kochmon to help he is the best. We had a huge family and he was able to get with everyone. Great guy. We took the A/C room and it was the best.
If you love all kinds of sea food then you'll absolutely 5 star this place. Not being an avid sea food lover, I won't say I lived everything but the food was interesting in taste. They have meat too which I found amazing so I believe the sea food is excellent too. We sat in the cave which was a fun experience.
We tried the classic crab, mussels, kozhuva fry, chicken curry and the toddy.
Wonderful memories after a long time. Lots of changes. Taste bit changed as well. But okay. Suggest to use pastes of masala instead of powder masala which enhances the authentic taste. Ambience is nice. Service staffs were too busy. The whole place was packed during the late night too. I think people remember the old name and visits during the commute through.
Excellent food, specially the fish masala, that is out of this world. The pork and crab were excellent as well, the only item that i didn't like much was the lobster fry. The ambiance was ok, only after we finished our food did i realise that there was a AC option as well. Over all it's a nice family restaurant if you want to try some really good kerala food.
Good amount of parking. Friendly service. Food was good. Squid dish was one of the best I have tried so far. Ordered chatti choor and fish curry meals. It has more than enough variety of small portions of various fish and meat dishes.
One of the best Restaurant/ Shaapu in terms of food quantity and Variety. Items every one should try are
1) Chatti choru, which is huge and comes with beef roast , prawns , chicken fry, dried fish , Omlette , natholi fry, tons of vegetarian side dishes and enough rice to serve 2-3 people.
2) Pork roast , definitely one of the best I ever had.
3) Fish curry meals . Which has meen peera , chemmeen chammanthi and vegetarian side dishes along with rice and Fish curry .
Beef fry was good but not mind blowing, better to opt for awesome beef roast which came with chatti choru .
Ambience is dark and gloomy . For someone claustrophobic this might not be the place to go . Service is efficient but during rush hours expect some delay .
Try to reach around 12.30 pm to avoid the lunch rush . Otherwise you may have to wait for a bit before getting a table .

Karimpin taste land and karimpin kala are two different restaurants located on the same road side almost 1 kilometer apart. This review is about karimpin taste land located on the right side of the road 500 meters after madona tiles while going towards Kottayam. There is sufficient parking available. Hand over the key to the guard who will rearrange it if required when more people arrives. There are several non AC huts and a AC hall. We took the Hut. It is slightly hot. Plus side is privacy. What we ordered is chatti chor and veg meals. Both are tasety and good. Chatti is sufficient for two people. The service was smooth and cordial. We went there during busy lunch time. It was being managed well by the staff. No complaints good food and cordial staff.

It is one of the famous restaurants in kottayam.The variety of non-veg dishes was impressive. The restaurant serves typical tasty foods that is sure to leave you feeling satisfied. The location is convenient and parking is available, although it can be bit tight during peak hours.

I only ordered take out, so not sure how comfortable seating is. As soon as I parked, somebody came to the window and took the order while we stayed in the car. The service was good, and food was tasty. The car park attendant guided me in and got me out by watching out of the traffic and letting me know to pull out into the road
